Amazing food and friendly staff. Their wings are the best in town and the beer selection always on point

If you are not local...they will not even acknowledge you exist. Not a hello, welcome or anything. We sat, waited a while & saw others come in (obvious locals), and welcomed. The waitress was eating with her hands as she rolled silverware on napkins. Bartender looked at us a few times, ignored us and kept talking to two women in the corner. I was shocked as it was 100% opposite from the great service at the sister restaurant the Alibi. The cook, Matt, at the Alibi suggested the Ogden club. Very disappointing. So much for small town friendliness, that doesn't exist here! Sad cause when we travel is when I leave yelp reviews and often even social media shout outs. Bar vibe which I wasn't expecting, but we were pleasantly surprised; food was great (wild rice burger, lobster burger, cheese curds..), so was the service. My kids played songs on the jukebox and the bathrooms were very clean. read more

Went for dinner and try the burgers at this place. We ordered Thai chill flat bread-2/5 Portobello buger0/5 tasteless Black rice burger 0/5 tasteless The food was not tasty at all. We had no other option at the time we visited it was late hour and even after knowing that we may have to sleep hungry we chose not to eat what we ordered. Don't want to discourage people who wants to try and do not want to give negative reviews to a business. You may just avoid ordering what we ordered and still try. We will not return to this place. This bar joint has a great atmosphere. We started with the onion tangles and they were hot and delicious and enjoyed by everyone. The French onion soup was tasty and had great flavor. Other items included a flat bread, poutine, fish tacos, and a couple burgers. Overall, the flavors were good, but everyone at the table commented on how salty their food was. I didn't notice that with the French onion soup or the onion tangles, which were the items I ate. Presentation of the food was good and there are lots of craft beers and a full bar for drink choices. I was happy with the food I ate, and they definitely rated four stars despite the salty comments from my dining partners. read more

Been here a few times for lunch and dinner. Services is always really good and the food is also good. As a vegetarian I appreciate the wild rice burger they have. The burger is so so good but my only suggestion is some sort of sauce or something. It's a touch dry. I still get it and ask them to but the topper from on of the other burgers on it. Sometimes they do and sometimes they don't. ‍ it's clean but small inside so can be a touch loud depending on the time of day. read more

I had been years ago and had good memories about the place, especially the pizza. Was disappointed on my return. Start with the service: the very young bartender was sweet but untrained and overwhelmed. Couldn't find the wine, messed up our order and then screwed up our bill. She wasn't ditzy- management never bothered to train her properly. Not too terrible on a slow Tuesday, but could be a disaster on a busy Friday. Then the food. The wings were a whopping $9 for 1/2 pound. That's 4 wings. Over $2 each, or over 3x what they cost elsewhere in town. They were not crispy fried or even baked, instead were slimy and boiled maybe? For $9 for 4 wings they better be awesome, and these were barely edible. The basic burger was very good, but it was $13! About double what a burger costs down the street at Dexters. And it only comes with chips - fries $3 extra. You can get an epic burger with fries for less at The Landing. The deluxe 5-topping pizza was $29- about $10 more than Pirates Cove. The pizza was good, but 8 wings, a burger (no fries) and a pizza with a few beers should NOT be over $100 with tax & tip. Then I see the 4% surcharge for credit cards. Umm...no. That surcharge is a price of doing business. You eat it. Welcome to owning a business. Raise your massive prices across the board to cover it. And 4%? Liquor stores and check cashing places only charge 3%. 4% means there's trouble with your finances or a history of fraud. Or maybe they are only paying 1.5% and tacking on the rest for a few extra bucks. So, bottom line - way overpriced, poor service and food hit or miss. Not recommended. read more

Wow! Just wow! This was quite the disappointing experience. Many things happening here to make me give it two stars. First, when I checked in and presented the $2 off appetizer coupon, they didn't accept it, or seem to know what it was. Second, when I ordered the burger and asked what it came with, the girl mentioned, fries, onion rings and side salad. I ordered the rings and my buddy ordered the fries. She asked if we'd like a side of ranch. We said yes. Bill comes and there is an additional up charge for the fries and rings at $3 each. Then an additional charge for the ranch. All probably would have been ok if we were told there was a charge as I asked what the burger came with. I think the proper answer should have been nothing. After I asked about the sides charge, she then stated she'd take the $2 Yelp discount off. Third- we had to ask several times for refills. Overall rough night and we certainly won't be back. To all who may, go here, just be aware that the Yelp coupon may not work and there is a charge for your sides. read more

At least communicate to your customers if there is going to be a delay with food service. After 23 minutes, we couldn't wait any longer, we had to get to work, hungry. First time here. Had the steak and beet wrap. Tasty wrap and fries were excellent. Wish I would have gotten a little side sauce. Business was slow for a Saturday night, but hopefully will get better. It was hard to choose what to eat but we settled on the fish tacos and the stuffed portobello sandwich. Both were very good! The guacamole was made fresh to order and the chips are homemade. The newly renovated Ogden Club is a step up from the usual bar and grill fare you find in the area. After catching my nephew's graduation earlier in the day, our clan was looking for casual dining option and we zeroed in on the Ogden Club after reading a number of glowing Yelp reviews. The nautical-themed interior certainly made a favorable impression as we stepped through the front door. Housed in a building that's over 100 years old and the new owners faithfully restored many of the its original features, like the stamped tin ceiling and the mirrored art deco inspired bar. Though dimly lit, I could discern that the tables and floors appeared clean and well maintained. Our enthusiastic server appeared soon after our party grabbed our seats across form the bar. He patiently advised our group as we made our beverage and appetizer order and consistently went above and beyond to capably serve our table throughout the evening. Our server recommended I try the Left Hand Milk Nitro, which has become a favorite beer choice of mine. The $7 black and blue cheese curds (white cheddar curds, fried and tossed in blue cheese and spicy buffalo sauce) made a far too brief appearance at our table, as they were quickly devoured. Also popular was the made to order guacamole and chips. While the quac could have benefited from a pinch of salt, I enjoyed the chunky texture and use of fresh ingredients. While I enjoyed the combination of flavors on my BLTA flatbread (bacon, lettuce and tomatoes drizzled with avocado mayo), the bland crust disappointed. I also appreciated the side salad of lightly dressed, fresh mixed greens. The pizza we ordered for the kids was a let down, due to the soggy crust, bland sauce and excessive greasiness. The Ogden Club happy hour runs from 4 - 6 pm, Monday through Friday. There are also daily food specials (50% off flatbreads on Mondays!). Despite the mediocre pizza experience, the attentive service, the impressive beer list and use of fresh ingredients are reasons enough to return in order to sample more items off the Ogden Club menu. read more

So happy Yelp helped us find this place! This bar/grill has been around forever according to the black and whites on the wall. There is a nice patio area outside for sipping cocktails and watching people go by. The waitstaff were all very friendly and helped each other out - always a good sign. They have a good little Bloody Mary bar on Saturdays and a nice size beer selection - oh and GREAT popcorn. My husband is still talking about the great burger he had there. I had the Thai chicken flatbread that was fine - I didn't realize it was going to have a sweet sauce on it. I really wish I would have tried something off the vegetarian menu.... its all made in house including a black bean burger and not one speck of pasta!!!! We were passing through Menominee during a recent roadtrip and stumbled upon Ogden Club for lunch. What drew us to the place were the availability of decent options for vegetarians (for hubby) and Fish Tacos (for me). And thats what we did. Hubby asked for a Wild Rice Burger. It was such a welcome change to the usual veggie or soya patty. If that wasn't enough, everything on the plate was made in-house. The patty, the house made chips and even the pickle! The buns I believe are sourced from a local bakery which was great because it did not have any of the commercial taste. The Waterfront Fish Tacos which I ordered was downright one of the best I've had. Flaky Haddock and Corn Salsa in super soft, warm tortillas drizzled with just the right amount of sour cream. There was a side of Guacamole and Fresh Fried Nachos to go with. The menu does mention a side of refried beans (instead of the guacamole) but they seem to have made a recent change and am not complaining. Service was very good, we had been here on a later afternoon and there wasn't much of a crowd. We loved the place so much that we went here again for lunch the next day on our drive back and ordered the same ditto menu! read more

Nice place. Simple menu. Club sand which is very good and simple. Pizza is okay. Very thin but done well. Male Daytime bartender is very pleasant. One of the night bartenders is too much all business. Can't go wrong if a bar pub is what you want. Update: went in again. I come up every time a ship is commissioned. First time here, we will be back. The restaurant is clean and appears well organized. The service was friendly and attentive. The food was so GOOD, fresh and homemade. We had the cream of mushroom soup. It was packed with mushrooms. We order the shawarma chicken tacos. Yum! We also had the steak & beet wrap. This was our favorite. So tasty! Nice clean little establishment. Had the Ogden Burger and was underwhelmed. Was a $5 burger that paid $11. Server seemed preoccupied. Live music was too loud. Paid with CC and had a service charge attached. I understand if a business doesn't like service charges from credit card companies. But if it's that big of a deal that you have to nickel and dime your customers, then have the guts to go cash only. Charging your customers a service charge in this day and age is petty at best. read more
