Much of the food, (which was already very limited,) was dried out. The choices, such as they were, was sub-par. The wait staff, consisting of one server, was surly. She was good at refilling drinks, so kudos on that, but she was clearly having a bad life. When I went to check out, I was initially ignored by the kid at the front. Apparently his phone was too important to put down for thirty seconds. When I thanked him as I walked out, he was back on his phone and grunted at me. I wouldn't go back. Don't let the 3-star review fool you -- this place is exactly what you want from a Chinese food restaurant. However... there's a caveat to that. For the love of our Lord Jesus Christ, who died for your sins so that all who believe would not perish, but have ever-lasting life, do not go to the actual buffet. It is normally cold, as buffets tend to be. However, if you order for pickup, the food is always hot. I don't know what sort of magic wand they wave (likely nuking it in the microwave), but it's way better and exactly what you want for your late night shenanigans. read more

I love the food here as it is always tasty and hot. Plenty of different foods of all different types. The staff is friendly, attentive and always watching when drinks need to be refilled. In addition they are in constant contact with the kitchen about when trays need to be refilled. The restaurant is clean and always neat. It makes you feel very comfortable. read more

It's your typical divey chinese buffet. The food tasted really good for what it was. I got 2 plates of regular food, like fried rice, sweet and sour chicken, etc. and then finished with some fruit. The ladies were all real nice and attended me right away. They also filled my water multiple times. All that for only $13 too for dinner prices. Ima go back for sure. I was delighted and surprised to find a Chinese-American buffet-style restaurant in Sturgeon Bay. I often travel in and around Door County but never got to this section of town before. There was a nice selection of what would be considered "standards" for this type of restaurant. Everything was fresh, warm and tasty. I enjoyed the lo mien, the General Tso's chicken and the pepper chicken. I will return here the next time I come through town. read more

I haven't been here for several years and am still not impressed. A lot of things were cold that shouldn't be. 3 people at my table including myself got cold green beans. I got cold egg fu young and even the gravy was cold. The pork fried rice was warm and very good, but the lo mein was barely warm. I just can't enjoy a meal that is not hot. Stopped here after a long day of touring. Even though we got there after 8:00 pm on a Saturday night, the buffet was still stocked and continued to be stocked while we ate. The food was good and the servers kept up with us and our eating and drinking. My only complaint is that the food could have been warmer. It wasn't cold, but here was definite room for improvement. Hands down, the best crab Rangoon EVER. Top favorites are; general Tso's, lo mein noodles, broccoli with garlic sauce and their potstickers. Can get take out, sit down and order off the menu or the buffet. They do a good job at keeping the buffet fresh and fully stocked. read more

Like others have mentioned the selection is a bit limited, however what they have is delicious. I recommend going at normal eating times so the food is fresh and not sitting out for too long. I was going to grade them a bit lower but after reading some of the other reviews I felt that many were possibly a bit too harsh. Is this the best Chinese food? By no means. I felt similar to many when I first ate here and never planned on eating here again. Fast forward a few years, I decided to give them a try and ordered take out, and to my surprise it was very decent! My advice is go for the takeout and not the buffet, the food is hot and fresh and better than the buffet food. The food is mediocre. I've had better although they do have a good variety to choose from and it's not all chicken. What bothers me is that some of the staff don't speak English at all and they converse with each other in their native language. One gal is currently sweeping the floor in the area of the buffet area. This makes my skin crawl! The food isn't covered and God only knows what's flying into the food from the floor. Can't this be done AFTER HOURS so that people can enjoy a meal without them cleaning the floors or vacuuming?! My family and I come in here all the time. The staff is very kind and the food good. The buffet is well maintained and the cooks put out more food when something runs out right away.
