The food is good, what makes it only three stars for me is the lack of feeling welcome when I am ordering and paying for food. I feel like I am interrupting the employees there and that they are annoyed by customers. When making a request, I have been met with eye rolls. Also, the fact that if you want a little extra chicken on your quesadilla - I'm talking maybe a tablespoon full - it will cost you $3. This place just isn't what it used to be. My wife and I decided to give it another try because they were actually open ( 11-3 Mon.-Fri.). I don't know if the girl making our food hates her job or just doesn't want to try to make eye contact or at least fake she cares about the person ordering food, but she was as cold and emotionless of a worker I have experienced in a long time (sorry we inconvenienced you). I asked for chorizo on my burrito and was told they were out. It's 1:30 and you are only open from 11 to 3 five days a week. So I went with steak. It was tough and I couldn't really taste it over all the rice. Order half rice if you get a burrito. Then I asked for extra guacamole and found out they charge for add ons when I got my bill. They charge me $4 for an extra spoonful of guac. Yep. 4 DOLLARS!!. You can get extra meat for $3. So my burrito ended up costing me $17.70. Maybe it would of been worth it if the customer service was better and the didn't pack it full of rice as a filler. read more

It's ok. Pretty tasty with fresh ingredients. Their spicy is actually pretty spicy. The salsa is great and they use romaine in their salads instead of the typical white iceberg served almost everywhere in Wisconsin. Would rate higher, but they are pretty pricey - $8.50 for a steak burrito is what you would pay in Chicago or LA. Here it should be about $6, especially since they can be stingy with the chicken or steak time to time. If I am going to spend $8.50 on a Mexican lunch, I'll spend a dollar more and get a much larger, tastier meal at La Cabana. read more

Visiting my mom and stopped here for lunch. YUM! The burritos taste fresh and are put together as you wait. Salsa was made today and had a nice flavor. I got a steak burrito with black beans and everything else e cent sour cream. So good, so big I only ate half. Aside from the food, the service was refreshing - genuine, friendly people. This place is so charming inside I never expected it! The decor and vibe inside are not expected considering what is typical for the town of Marinette. The service was fast and friendly. I got the mild salsa which was perfect for me but Jerry said he could have used a bit more spice (he got mild but should have gotten the hot). Here's the breakdown: The Good - North of Green Bay your options for good Mexican begin to dwindle. This place will remind you of Chitpotle if it was not a chain restaurant. Organic ingredients, some locally sourced produce and decent portion sizes. The Bad - If you want to use a credit card, there is an extra charge of .50. While personally I don't have an issue with this (I prefer it over them not taking credit cards... or worse, making me pay a fee for an ATM) I know some people will get worked up. So if you're that person, bring some cash or shut your mouth, The Ugly - Really not a lot to complain about. Other than the fact that a veggie burrito should contain more then just peppers and onions. That's the only failing I saw there. In a nutshell: If you're there and want Mexican, stop in. Drove by a bunch of times and finally decided to try it. Kind of a funky college town vibe going on and different than your average joint. Clean , friendly staff....owners I presume. Very accomodating to my wifes gluten free desire. Fast, pretty fresh ingredients, and not too expensive. I think it's a funky version or try at doing Chipotle or Quedoba. Would have gotten 4 stars, but both tacos and beef burrito meat was ice cold. Just ate it and didn't say anything, but hope that's not the way it's supposed to be. These reviews crack me up saying how good and fresh the food was. I watched the worker scoop the store bought guacamole from the package to the food prep area. the rest of it was flavorless at best. Only one bottle of hot sauce was available for the entire place. The restaurant itself is really neat inside and it was prepared quickly. Prices are average. Chicken quesadillas is the most popular item on the menu according to the staff. We found it a bit bland. I had the 1/2 nachos with chorizo and a ground beef hard shell taco. I've eaten there several times having the large burritos they're very filling and could use a lot more meat when I ordered the problem I have the most with the burritos is that they use plain white rice and I've never seen a Mexican style restaurant use plain white rice it takes over the entire taste of the entire Burrito they should at least use Spanish rice or cilantro and lime in there rice to give some flavor because the white rice they use plain just isn't happening in their favor read more

On the way to the Upper Peninsula we stopped at lunch time at Blue Bike Burrito. The restaurant is on route 41. The place is cleverly decorated with blue bicycles and was very clean. We ordered our burrito and they made it there right in front of us. It was large enough for us to split for lunch. Overall, the food is fresh and tasty, made to order and the service is excellent.
