I really wish i could write a better review but I can't . I use to come here all the time because I use to live in the area. I stopped coming because the service start declining. I have been going to this shop for a while now each time they try to charge a different amount for basic stuff.They try to make up prices as they do the service. My normal I get the same service each time I go a pedicure $47.00 fill in basic polish not extra I'm usually spending $110 total for both. Maria and Amanda are top tier. They are the most requested nail technicians in the shop so be prepared to wait if it's the weekend or holiday. I love a nice, clean precise nail and they never miss! Never judge a book by its cover, busy does not denot quality. I was surprised to find this salon not as busy on a Saturday but also thankful that I wouldn't be sitting waiting all day. I had the pleasure of having Amanda do my nails. She was great with her skills and we enjoyed several great conversations. I love my nails and will definitely be back to see her. Highly recommended! Talk about a cheap nail salon with great nail service. Maria and Amanda are the bomb! You'll know that from the time you walk in and sign in bc their names are all over the sign in sheet. Just about anyone is great with toes but only let Maria and Amanda do your nails. I promise you won't regret it. I live all the way in west midtown and travel over here for the amazing sns application they do plus you can't beat $45 for SNS mani and a pedi. In the city I'm paying $75 for my nails and toes and it may not even be as good SNS application. The salon can be a little ratchet but it's across from Greenbriar mall so what do you expect. One thing i don't like is they do your toes then your nails so your in there forever!!!! read more

First of all, I came in for a simple eyebrow wax and they told me it would be a 5 minute wait. 45 minutes later I get called back to the chair and the tech refused to service me because of a birth mark I have over my eye. This wasn't a mole or a bump or anything other than a dark spot above my eyebrow. On top of that, they laughed and pointed at me for several minutes before refusing to serve me. Very disappointed after coming here for years. Linda has done my nails last few times, usually Amanda does them. Linda caught a nasty attitude with me Thursday morning for reacting to her causing pain to my nails by pulling my hand back. After telling her I'm human & I'm allowed to feel pain, she goes on to say "Well I can stop & you can just wait on Amanda." I told her NO, I have somewhere to be, I will let you finish. ....Do you know ten minutes into conversation she tells me Amanda wasn't even coming IN today, as she is with her child for the day. ..........So Linda you basically were going to set me up to "Wait on" Amanda who was never going to show just because I reacted to YOU hurting my nails over & over. Shame on you. I've been coming here for 7+ YEARS but after today I am done. They never have enough staff to service you, you're ALWAYS waiting if you're not the first one there. Poor customer service. Went there to get a mani pedi and an eyebrow. I requested the same lady for my eyebrows. Everyone I came she would tell me I have to go to her mother. This happened three times. I left and came back three times. The third time they told me they could do my feet and eyebrows but not my nails because someone who came in after me had to go before me. She didn't have an appointment set, but apparently they didn't read that I requested a mani. Amanda's sister who was almost done with someone refused to do my nails because she was tired. Just your average typical nail salon. I got a regular manicure which was $10 but I had to wait 20 minutes to be seen. When I mentioned manicure, the response was as if manicures are obsolete now. She replied mani/pedi, gel, full set... no ma'am just a regular manicure. They have a lot of color options but I found that most of the polishes I selected had not been used in forever because I couldn't twist the top off. Some that I was able to twist off, disconnected from handle to brush (if this makes sense). This raised concerns for me that the nail polish might be really old and not last long. If given the option, I would rate a 3.5 but I didn't think was closer to 4 so I rounded down. And although, the business has little control over clientele, I wouldn't want to unwind & be pampered here. It's more of a get it done as quickly as possible spot. I like when I hear customer/client conversations because someone might frequent the spot. I didn't get that vibe here. Given its convenience, I would stop again but for no other reason. read more

Anybody thinking about going to this raggedy establishment think twice and hold your breath because you're taking a gamble. I visted Nails #2 for a gel manicure on 10/28/16. When I walked in I was barely greeted by the staff which was a sign I should have left. I was pleased with my manicure in the past especially since I live in the neighborhood. Well that was a BIG mistake and I will not be patrionizing this business. After I took a seat two ladies came in for a full set after me and were called before me. The older taller woman ended up doing my nails and as you can see this was a horrible job. Even though I asked for a manicure she said she didnt see a need to cut my cuticles "I don't want to take your money b/c yo don't need a manicure" and that was the only way she did a manicure. She was very rude and visually lazy (posture and heavy sighing) with an attitude. She had gel polish all over my skin and I had to ask her to clean it. When my nails were dry she tried to remove the polish with a file. Filing my skin-Absolutely not! Normally when I get this service the Amanda in the second or third station usually provides this service for me. I expressed my displeasure to both of them and Amanda told me "well next time you're just gonna have to wait for me" as she rolled her eyes. I told her I didn't mind waiting. The older woman who did the horrible work told me "if you dont like I take off for you." She filled a bowl with acetone and had me soak my nails. She then came back with the drill which I told her I didnt want. She left me there soaking and proceeded to start a pedicure without washing her hands or putting on gloves. After I asked her was she or someone else going redo my nails she said "no you soak off and you go." As a paying customer who works very hard for my money this is unacceptable. This is a warning to anyone thinking about going. They only want your money not your satisfaction. As you can see with these pictures they don't care about maintaining customers. read more

The first thing I would like to say is I would prefer to not add one star. They definitely deserve ZERO stars. This salon is the ABSOLUTE WORST EXPERIENCE I have EVER had ANYWHERE in my entire life!!!! HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! An older lady, who may have been the owner, had a horrible attitude practically upon walking in. I waited with my daughter for approximately 15 min. before being called to get a mani/pedi. The water was already in the tub and there was spilled (or used) water on the area where you rest your feet. So, I asked the lady if she could wipe it off and if this was fresh water. She wiped the water off with her hands with an attitude and said something in her language in an angry tone. She never responded to my question, so another actually nice lady explained that the water was there for someone else who took longer than they expected. So, they called me. I thanked this particular nice lady and proceeded to take off my sandals and I laid them upside down on top of each other on the side counter so neither the sole nor the heel of the shoe would touch the surface. The older mean lady continued in a very angry, negative, and derogatory manner saying more comments in her native language, with negative body language, and off-putting and mean facial expressions as she is getting ready to take the polish off of my toes. It was so distracting, I asked her is everything ok? Then I asked if she was having a bad day because she was so negative and you could feel the bad energy. She got offended and said I could leave. I'm surprised to hear this and actually did not fully understand. She is talking to the others and then a very disrespectful younger hood like girl who worked there says she said you can leave because you disrespected her by putting your shoes on the counter. Mind you, this girl is being very loud, ignorant, and rude. I said, she could have just said that--though I did not have my heels on the counter and the psycho woman had an attitude to begin with. At any rate, my daughter came over and exchanged words to get an understanding to learn that these two were utterly ridiculous and ignorant as well as simply unprofessional. The woman repeatedly spoke in her language and I told her if you are talking about me, speak in English so I can hear you...Nonetheless, this was definitely beneath us...We left--NEVER TO RETURN AND WILL NEVER RECOMMEND TO ANYONE ELSE. To be fair, there was a very nice lady working on someone's nails, (who is the one who actually answered my question that was for the older mean older lady with the bad attitude earlier) as well as an older guy who was very pleasant. They were both also very professional. They need to teach the other non-professional employees how to conduct themselves with customers or get rid of them as they could be very bad for business.
