Such a charming little coffee shop in Marble Falls! It feels like an old house that's been lovingly transformed into a cozy, homey café, super cute and quaint. There's plenty of seating for both adults and kids, and lots of parking available right outside, which is a huge plus. The vibe inside is relaxed and welcoming. The staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating, which made the experience even better. My daughter and niece ordered iced mocha lattes and gave them a solid 4/5. I had the iced matcha latte with oat milk and it was delicious, I'd rate it a 4.5/5. All three drinks plus a cookie came out to $16.83, which felt very reasonable. Tipping is optional here, but the service was great, so I was happy to leave one. They also have some cute merch like mugs and shirts, plus books for sale, which adds to the cozy, lived-in feel. We drove from Temple through northwest Austin suburbs to admire the Bluebonnets at Muleshoe Recreational Area. We drove back through Marble Falls so we could eat at the Bluebonnet Cafe (another 5 star review coming). While eating, we yelped for coffee and 5 blocks away was Numinous. No pictures, but we had very full bodied nitro cold brew, apparently one of their signature beverages. I have been looking for some dark roast beans to used for espresso at home (photos from home), and this roast was perfect. The beans grind well without a lot of dust, pack and tamp easily in the portafilter, and the espresso flows perfectly with one quick, tight twist. Yeah it's dark, but I am tired of "full-bodied, rich" espresso. I want it to taste like coffee! I just wish we didn't live 100 miles away. read more

Coffee - about a 4.5 Small inconspicuous location a friend recommended. There are a few other decent coffee shops here in Marble Falls but always willing to check out others. The parking lot made it seem like a very popular place. Easy enough to place an order and had what we wanted. I am not a coffee drinker but my friend said the coffee was very good. They also have some baked goods and I bought a small boule of sourdough. Having spent a lot of time in Northern California I can say this is NOT sourdough bread. The center was not fully cooked and ultimately, we ended up feeding it to the deer in our backyard. But the worst part of this visit was the three text messages and two emails we received after paying!!! I NEVER signed anything saying I agreed to emails and/or text messages. I don't want to receive an email but typically don't care too much about getting an email receipt even if I didn't ask for it. But to blow up my phone with text messages... I NEVER signed anything nor asked to be texted. The owner has been contacting me asking me to "update" my review. The simple FACT is I did receive multiple text messages (as you can see by the attached photo). The owner blames this on Square but yet no other business I have been to will send me text messages so this must be something on Numinous they need to work out with Square. The law is very clear about this and they must receive my consent to send text messages. But it's just so creepy how just using your credit card, a business can start texting you. I didn't see it on their wall menu so I'm glad I asked if they had a cold brew, but when they hit back 'nitro' I was excited...but then my mind was blown when I tasted it: incredible depth of flavor and smoothness, they use Nicaraguan dark roast so for sure strong chocolate & mild smokiness but I'm picking up on nutty hazelnut as well, wow. Lots of times I get nitros I feel like they almost use hot coffee bc it's so acidic but this is super smooth so u can tell they brew it cold, and the nitro accentuates those delicate nutty undertones. Enjoyed lake life at Horseshoe Bay and stopped in for some coffee while perusing the thrift shops in the area. Great place for coffee where they roast right there in the cafe. Tables were placed around to allow for social distancing. You can tell how plugged in they were into the community and how much they love to give back. They post local artist art along the walls, and donate loaves of homemade sourdough bread to the church or families in need. Even a portion of the yeast can be sold as a starter for your own sourdough adventure at home. Loved this place so much, we can back on another day. Great owner! read more

WOW..... that's all I can say is WOW. Kudos to their baker because these are the BEST scones I have ever tasted in my life. No joke. I don't know if we just got lucky because they were still warm and had just come out the oven or what, but omg they were super buttery and scrumptious. I got the lavender one and the cinnamon chip one and both were 10/10 but the lavender was my favorite and it truly blew me away. The baristas were friendly and offered up suggestions when asked and had a smile the whole time. The inside is cozy and I love that they have the coffee roaster inside so you get a sneak peek into the workings of the coffee shop. I would come back here in a heartbeat and in fact I plan on coming back tomorrow to load up on more scones and try the breakfast sandwich and the sriracha turkey sandwich for lunch! Can't wait!! The latte that I got was the vanilla lavender with oat milk and that was also really good, I give it a 9/10. My wife didn't like her iced latte too much but she said it's because she thinks it was too sweet but the syrups are made in house so maybe she needs to play around with the amount next time. I planned to grab my coffee to-go, but the environment was perfect for taking some time to sit and relax as I enjoyed my coffee, so I did.
