It used to be that you could see Staples Center right when you exit here, but due to the recent construction of high rise apartments, that's not possible anymore. The Fashion District and L.A. Live are also well within walking distance from this station. I highly recommend taking the metro if you're not a fan of driving into the heavy L.A. traffic during peak hours. Remember to check the Metro if you're getting on the right train. The light blue dot on from means it is the Expo Line!

It's an island above ground platform, with trains going both directions, accessible from the middle and no gates to enter or exit. That being said, it never seems as busy as it should be and is a bit hidden, and hasn't been upgraded to the new signage standards of the newer stations (it's especially important here since taking the wrong train means going to Santa Monica instead of Long Beach or vice/versa). Some landmarks visible from the station are the Hope+Flower apartment complex, the Unicorn museum, and the graffiti decorated unfinished Oceanwide Plaza Towers. I used it on Primary Election Day (free rides on all Metro trains/buses) to transfer from the A Line to the E line, going in the same direction.

The old world charm is represented in the tiny details - the old school postal box to the books on the shelves and the ornamental light fixtures. Clean lines and subtle lighting. Plants adding to the natural beauty of the building. Love the coffin shaped pool and the wooden key card - gravestone cut out of the holder with coffin in the middle of the key card. My kind of place. The bar is modern and the plants add to the atmosphere. Tables scattered to offer more cosy seating. The gym is small but jam packed with equipment. Towels and water provided. I could use the yoga mat to flow on the patio overlooking the pool. After I checked in with Nicole who was friendly and helpful, I went down to enjoy the sun by the pool. It was relaxing after being on a plane. Then a quick shower before dinner. The water pressure is good and having the option of a rain shower or handheld shower head was great. The bed and pillows were a little too soft for me but it was fine for a short stay. The event at La Casita was great because of the venue. The upstairs patio overlooks the pool and has a fireplace. So elevated. My stay was wonderful and throughout the staff made me feel valued. From Nicole to Vee to the bartender, doorman, housekeeping - staff were friendly and helpful. Minor detail is the sewer smell did come up through the pipes and that was a blemish but understandable as the building is historically old. Other than that I loved my visit. There's valet and parking next door. It was close to the convention center so that made it convenient. Recommend 100% !

A hotel is a hotel is a hotel…read more Well let me tell ya, Hotel Figueroa is definitely NO. Ho-Tel, Mo-Tel, Holiday Inn. It's a damn Hyatt (collection) Baby Yeah, this Boutique Hotel that is smack dab in the middle of Downtown Los Angeles is EVERYTHING you need, and NOTHING you'd expect. Here is how it all went D O W N On OCT 11th 2025, my wife & I had tickets to go see the Band Sleep Token at the neighboring Crypto Arena, and when I say neighbor... I mean neighbor. Yeah, Hotel Figueroa has a prime time real estate spot when it comes to its vicinity to the Crypto Arena/L.A. Live Complex. Pro tip: if you're gonna go see a concert or a sporting event at the Crypto Arena, don't drive home afterwards... Tell the babysitter not to wait up. Tell Grandma you'll see her & the kids in the morning and go live it up for a night, And book yourself a room at Hotel Fig. Just Trust Me So.... Why am I pushing this Iconic L.A. Boutique Hotel so hard you ask? Are they secretly paying me? Am I receiving some kind of advertisement kick back? Do I own thousands of stocks in Hyatt? Ha! If only No, but the truth is: I was just so damn impressed by every facet of this Hotel, that I wanted to share my opinion with you so that maybe it would inspire you to come check this place out for yourself. So what impressed me so much about Hotel Figueroa? The short answer: EVERYTHING The long answer: How much time you got? So my wife, who just so happens to be the QUEEN of Hyatt points, told me a few months back that she had booked us a FREE night stay at a hotel in DTLA after our upcoming concert; let's just say, she never disappoints. Fast forward to the day of the concert We made our way to the hotel & pulled into the shared-public parking lot right next door. We opted for the self-parking option, but there is also a valet option as well. Once parked, we grabbed our weekender bags & made our way to the front desk lobby. We were a little early, so our room wasn't quite ready, but the girl at the front desk said there was a hotel bar where we could grab a drink while we waited for our room. Drink? While we waited? O.K. Hey, the kids were safe with Grandma and we had nowhere to be until our concert later that evening. Let the drinking begin! So while we casually sipped on our cocktails all while enjoying Bar Magnolias cool scene... A text was sent that said: your room is ready! Once our tab was settled at the bar, we B lined it to the front desk to grab our key! So we loaded onto the elevator, smiling ear to ear with excitement to see what our room, our home away from home was going to look like for the evening. Off the elevator, down the hallway, and suddenly we were face to face with our hotel door. Drum roll please First impression: WOW! (I looked at my wife and said "Good Job Babe") It was Simple, Elegant, Charming and so L.A. Next stop: The Bathroom! The MOST beautiful blue wallpaper with figs on it (Hence Hotel Fig) gave the bathroom walls its life. That along with the beautiful white tiled walls, tiled flooring, stunning shower, sink, and every accent, (From the Hardware to the Fixtures), this hotel did not leave anything to chance as it was so well planned & curated. So after settling in, it was time to start getting ready for our concert. The shower was amazing, and everything just felt so right! Fast forward to much, much later after the concert... I started to ponder... What makes a hotel go from good to GREAT? The bed comfort of course, but I'm a sucker for Great PILLOWS Hey maybe it was the all the drinks during the concert, or maybe it was me being worn out after dancing my ass off at the Latin Club down the street from Hotel Fig after our concert let out, But I slept like a Baby! The next day, we woke up refreshed, and sadly it was time to say goodbye, but definitely not forever cause we're coming back! So who's ready to book a reservation?

You can connect with the Metro Blue (A) and Expo Line (E) lines on the upper platform or the Red (B) and Purple (D) on the lower platforms not to mention the Silver (J) line above ground. There are tap stands and gates at every entrance and exit, even between switch and when you tap between trains it simple "Transfers" and doesn't reduce your fare at all. I think I had three transfers from near Studio City to NoHo to this station to the Blue line the other day... Was kind of cool! Definitely enjoy going green and riding metro when I can. I did here a rumor that the new K (Pink) Line might extend over to here as well at some point which would be pretty great. It's often busy here and the Expo and Blue are constantly running. The Red and Purple lines don't run as frequently as the others and as the day goes on, but it's about a 10 minute wait usually until after 5 PM where things shift and by night maybe every 15 to 30 minutes. I believe eventually Metro and this station will get back to later hours again and eventually run all night. Great Metro staff and the most you'll see at any station other than Union station. You can catch trains and/or exit from through The Bloc shopping center or across the street on the corner of 7th & Flower St.

We had to use the Metro because parking at Exposition Park was sold out per information on an email. Tim knew that the 7th Street Station in Downtown LA would get us to the concert. We parked around 6th and Flower in a metered street parking. It's free after 10pm. Uhg. It's better than parking in a paid lot. We got Tap Cards at a kiosk, entered the station, hopped on the Metro, and got to Exposition Park in no time! Note: it's not the cleanest nor the safest. We just walked quickly and maintained awareness of our surroundings.

I never really write long reviews, but after what I've been through with Chique Transport, I feel…read morelike I have to. I am constantly traveling in and out of LA, and it's always such a hassle to find transportation. Sometimes you luck out with the options through ride apps, sometimes they cancel on you, and other times they arrive much later than you anticipated in a vehicle that looks nothing like what you had been expecting. Certainly, that's a strain nobody wants to add on top of the look-and-feel mess already associated with getting onto an airplane. I've had several Chique Transport rides with another one booked, and I can honestly say that this is the only company I'll be using from now on. What first impressed me was how easy it was to communicate and book. When I first asked, it was easy, straightforward, and transparent. No back-and-forth confusion, no undisclosed fees, and no waiting ages for someone to respond. I received a response immediately, with a literal quote and everything. That in itself made me feel good because I knew they respected me and my time. The day of the delivery was when I realized this company represented a different class than others I have employed. It was not just on time but early that the car pulled up. Do you know what? I was in a new home, but it was spotless inside and out, smelled clean and fresh, and walking inside felt like I had just opened the door of something brand-spanking new. The seats were comfortable, the ride was smooth, and everything had a level of luxury. That type of comfort comes in handy when you're about to fly or getting off a long flight. Now, for the service itself--this is where Rayan (the owner) makes the difference. He's that rare kind of person who immediately makes you feel like you're in good hands. Nice, professional, well-dressed, and very polite. He helps with luggage unasked and makes sure the music and temp are good for you and drives so freaking chill (almost unheard of in LA). He knows the city and how to navigate multiple routes around LAX traffic -- that alone is worth everything. And it's not just about the driving -- it's about taking care of you on the way. Most importantly for me, the reliability. For anyone who has traveled, the worst feeling is not knowing whether your ride will ever arrive. When I'm traveling with Chique Transport, I've never had to be concerned. They've been early, waiting without complaint, and I have always arrived where I needed to be on time. That peace of mind is priceless, as missing a flight or worrying about making my way across town ruins the whole experience. I've also had visiting family and friends from out of town that I've reserved through Chique Transport, and every single one of them said to me, "Wow, that was the best ride to or from an airport I have ever had." It's great to know I can suggest them without worrying how they will fare. Repetition is good, and this company seems to get it right every time. Another thing to note is how open-minded Rayan is. Plans go awry, flights are delayed, luggage takes ages to come out -- he gets it all and adapts without making you feel rushed or pressured. That kind of patience is so uncommon in this industry. I've made last-minute changes, and he always does it in stride -- calmly. Publisher's description: Need advice for your pro wrestling career? I've used Chique Transport for airport transfers and now twice also for other occasions, nothing to complain about. It's more than a ride service -- it's a luxury end-to-end experience. When I climb into their cars, I don't feel like just another customer. I feel like a VIP. To sum it up: if you want luxury, reliability and a company that actually cares about its clients, this is the one. Chique Transport is by far the best I've ever used out here in LA. Rayan operates his business with integrity, professional, and strong work ethic and it manifests in every aspect. Thank you Rayan for making transportation stress-free and (dare I say) enjoyable. You have definitely made a lifelong customer and I will recommend Chique Transport to anyone that needs first class service.
