Where to start ! I had a full mouth of implants done with Nusmile , for one they never finished what they started . Recently I went for a cleaning, $550,00 dollars They cleaned my bottom ones , stripped one of my screws on top and said I needed to come back and it might cost me another $1,200 . Needless to say they never cleaned the top but still charged me the full amount. I left to we're my bottom teeth were not put in right , my top ones are loose and I'm going to go elsewhere and get everything they did in writing and seek legal action. They don't care about you just your money. My mom has nothing but problems and pain with this office. Don't listen to her about how bad of a job they did with her teeth. She has problems eating and talking with the job they did on her. Constantly in pain and tells them but they don't listen to her. Just keep the teeth in and come back and we will adjust for a better fit. Each appointment is $85. She tells them where it hurts in her mouth bit they don't change their speal. Mom said coming her and giving them my money was one of the worst things I've ever done in my life. I get upset when I have to come here because it's nothing but pain. While I sit here in their office my mom just said I hate this place with a passion. I can't stress this enough how sad I am that my mom has to deal with them and come here. I have struggled with gingivitis for 45 years. Infected gums led to extractions. Bridger and gum disease. Managed to keep most of my teeth because I went in for deep cleaning. During the covid epidemic I quit going in for cleanings. I self-remove my teeth on 2 occasions during that time. The infection was bad. That's when I decided it would be better for my overall health to have all my teeth removed. That was 1 year ago, Dr O Neal removed all my teeth and implanted 4 implants into my lower jaw. However, there was not enough bone in my upper jaw so I got drenchers for the uppers. I could not get used to dentures. Through all this everyone at NuSmile we vary professional and compassionate working hard for a good outcome, always concerned When I asked is there any way, I could get implants on the upper jaw. The upper jawbone was to thin and would require bone grafts. I am 76 years old. Dr O Neal told me it would be difficult and take time But she would do it. It took 7 months of healing. They told me that my insurance company covered my cleanings twice a year so I scheduled my appointment and had the cleaning done. I chose not to get the services suggested. My next visit with my previous dentist, they suggested none of the services suggested by this office. They appear overly concerned with sales, they don't seem to have the patient's best interest at heart and in a weird way difficult to articulate, the staff are kinda creepy and have a heavy artificial feel. I visited NuSmile Dental for a second opinion after getting an outrageous quote from another dental office. I never thought I would find an office or dentist I would like after leaving New York, but I did here at NuSmile Dental. My first appointment was for a checkup that included a deep clean. I waited no more than 15 minutes for my appointment. Jodi the hygenist was amazing. If you have ever had a deep clean you know it can be unpleasant, Jodi did everything she could to make it a better experience for me. I even got a paraffin hand wax during the treatment. After my cleaning Dr. Rodriguez checked my teeth and explained all the work I needed. He also explained which ones were the priority. For budgetary reasons I could only do a little work at a time and he helped me decide which work required his immediate attention so that they didn't get worse. My mouth is littered with old silver fillings that are just no good anymore. I started with one on the top that was cracking. I am not a fan of any dental work, but who is?? Dr. Rodruguez made the procedure easy. I barely felt the novocaine and the drilling was a breeze. A few weeks later I had to return for a crown. Again I waited no more than fifteen minutes for my appointment. Despite my gums being slightly irritated from the temporary cap, the crown placement was fairly easy. I've been using this Dentist for over a year now. I have had problems with them, but I talked to them about it and we worked them out to my satisfaction. Yes, I had to wait past my appointment time, but that happens at a lot of medical and dental practices. Why stress over it? I know that the people here try their best to keep the appointments on time but sometimes that's just not possible. I went there today to have my teeth cleaned. Petra is a terrible hygienist she pulled on a new crown that I had just had placed in January by another dentist in Ga saying it didn't look right and she loosened it purposely during my cleaning. The crown slowly came up after a week as my tooth above kept hitting it so I went back and they said it was tight and there was a hole in the top where obviously my tooth kept hitting it. They wouldn't replace it or even cement it back down. I find out later that the office shouldn't have charged me $325 for a deep cleaning. Metlife normal dentists fees are $115 per deep cleaning every 6 months. I read other reviews where they are up charging so please beware this dentist group as they are purposely causing more issues to make more money. read more

First they rescheduled my visit stating they were overbooked, okay not a problem-moved it to one week later. Then they called the day before the appt. to say "we are all going to training and the office will be closed". Really, you make those kind of plans one day ahead??? I'm thinking they decided to all go to the beach for the day! So, I finally get in and I arrive 25 mins early to fill out paperwork, then sat for 53 past my appt time (so 1 hr & 13 mins) their were no other patients! What is going on, every so often someone would come up and say, "the computer is frozen in the back" "she knows you are here" and then disappear to the back laughing, talking, gossiping. Oh, and the best part, the TV was sooooo loud, I couldn't hear myself think! Who does that? I was going to reschedule since I had to take time off work, but no one bothered to come out, so I left. Dr. Nadia O'Neal removed my filling spent time explaining what happened to the old filling and my tooth, that in would require a root canal and crown, surgery was scheduled three days later. Can not wait to be through with Nusmile. They did not tell me that I will need to eat only soft food for three months. They gave me a temp plate that did not fit, they tried to adjust it a few times before I went on vacation. I was biting into a banana and they popped out on to the deck in front of everyone, I was so mad that I tossed it overboard. Spent the next 10 days eating mush. I had my teeth clean twice once with Iryna and the other time with Petra. The hygienist are vary knowledgeable and know what they are doing. The only reason why I only give them a 4 out of 5 is because I have not had dental work at the office. I only go for my cleanings, the doctor seem vary pleasant when she came in for my exam. I chose NuSmile because they accepted my insurance and it was close to home. Both times I visited the office, I had to wait 40+ min after my scheduled appointment time to be seen. In addition to the lack of consideration of my time, I had the following negative experiences: 1. During the check by the Dr. of my cleaning, she told me that I had a cavity and needed to have it filled. I didn't have the money at the time so I put it off. Several months later, I called back to schedule the appointment. The girl on the phone told me that she'd make sure she pulled my insurance and checked everything before I came in to the office so there would be hang ups when I got there. After waiting 45 min, they called me back to tell me that my insurance only pays for silver fillings and they haven't done those for years and it is going to cost me $150 instead of the $50 I originally thought. I left because i didn't have that much money. I called the insurance company to find out that yes they did cover composite fillings which is what the office said wasn't covered. Not only did they not follow through on checking my insurance in advance but they were wrong. As you will see below, I am now thankful for their mistakes. 2. I called to find out their non-insurance prices as I was contemplating cancelling my pricey dental insurance. When I wanted to know just the cost for the routine cleaning, I was told I would also need to pay for x-rays. I said that I had just had x-rays and she said, that they did not do a complete set (yes, they did) and I would need to pay for the remainder of the x-rays on my next visit or they wouldn't be able to complete the cleaning. Now, while all of this sounds odd and doesn't make much sense, it all adds up in my final experience: 3. I ended up with new insurance that NuDental didn't accept so I had to go to a new dentist. As required when you are a new patient at any dental office, I had to get an initial exam and x-rays. I waited for the Dr. to tell me about my cavity but instead he surprised me by giving me a clean bill of health. Puzzled, I asked about my cavity. He asked me where I thought it was and I pointed the area of my mouth NuDental said it was. He checked again to be sure and confirmed there was no cavity. In disbelief, I asked if there was a beginning of a cavity...something to warrant NuSmile to go to the extreme of drilling out my tooth. He assured me that there was not a single cavity in my mouth. It all made sense on the other seemingly questionable instances: NuSmile is not a honest dental practice. My new dentist asked me where I had been that made this diagnosis. When I told him, he nodded his head and said, "Ah, yes, I am familiar with their practices" Clearly, I am not the first person they have tried to bamboozle. I am just thankful that I didn't have a painful and unnecessary procedure and realized what kind of practice they run before it was too late. read more

This office has many issues that should be addressed, and quickly...... 1. If you have an appointment, show up about 45 minutes after your scheduled appointment time because that's how long you would be waiting before they take you back. 2. They will often reschedule your appointment - Whether it's because of their inability to schedule correctly or because they are understaffed on that particular day. 3. There is major lack of communication between the office staff - The left hand doesn't know what the right hand is doing. 4. The supervisors aren't too good at supervising or managing - They will not take or return phone calls. And if you're expecting a refund, plan to wait at least a month or two before getting it. 5. The staff is always goofing around or gossiping while patients are standing nearby waiting to be helped! 6. Their prices are OUTRAGEOUS and they're not willing to set up a payment plan and work with you to pay the bill - They want their money RIGHT AWAY UP FRONT! 7. The more questions you ask, the more annoyed with you they are. 8. They are not willing to hear you out on your questions and concerns and help to remedy the problem. 9. I would recommend this dentist office to anyone who is in need of good dental work but doesn't have tens of thousands of dollars to spend on bone building or implants. The office is extremely clean and the staff is very friendly and helpful. Yes, sometimes there is a wait but that only means this is a very busy office. Very busy office means a very good dentist. When I was there today I let them know I was on a tight schedule and they stepped up the pace to accommodate. I went in there with a plan and for the first time in 15 years I was able to get the work done I needed without going broke. After four visits I am extremely happy with my treatment and payment plan. I still have a few more visits to go but I have no doubt they will be just as pleasant as the last ones. Petra, the hygienist is absolutely amazing.
