My fam and I had a wonderful time here last July 4th. The steaks were charred to perfection and customer service was great. Turap (the manager) was warm and welcoming and Tamara was friendly and attentive to our needs. The place was well-decorated and some merch were on display. What we ordered: Appetizers: Nus-ret Special Salad, Caesar Salad, and Salmon Tartare Main Course:Filet Mignon, New York Steak, and Lokum (Wagyu Steak) Sides:Sauteed Mushrooms and Mashed Potatoes‍Desserts: Authentic Pistachio Baklava with Ice cream and golden Baklava Drink: Lychee Martini and complimentary Turkish tea.

The food was very exquisite!! We really enjoyed our steaks, cooked to perfection!! The appetizers and desserts were wonderful! The Nusret salad was delicious! Also the meat sushi was delicious! We enjoyed it, our 3 course meals. The service was excellent!!! Our waiter by the name of Santiago, also known as Santi, was so helpful and his service was great!! He gave us excellent service! I give him a 5 star!! He was very attentive, and kept up with everything we needed.

Excellent service! Love this place, definitely coming back. Baklava was exceptional, they said ice cream came all the way from turkey. The pretty cherry blossoms decorated the place very pretty. Steak quality was top notch!

My wife and I had decided to try this place since we heard they offer a three course price fix menu during lunch. For the first selection, I chose the Nusret Special Salad. The salad was the best part of the dish. The ingredients were fresh and well matched. Next, I chose the USDA Prime New York Steak. The steak was a little small but it was well cooked and not overly seasoned. Lastly, for the dessert I chose the San Sebastian Cheesecake. The dessert was nothing spectacular. The texture was rather dry and dense. The food was okay but nothing noteworthy.

The food and service here are exceptional! Don't be fooled by the poor reviews, we found everything to be outstanding. Reservation was a breeze, though not necessary as they were not busy at all. Sushi was a fun spin on the original and very delicious. I enjoyed the salmon with vegetables, it was the perfect light dinner on a hot day. The prices are high, but they do have specials available where you can get a great quality dinner for a very fair price. Extremely attentive, this is ideal for a birthday, date night or special occasion, highly recommended!

I came to this restaurant when it first opened a couple of years ago. At that time, the menu was very limited. Today, I went to take my mom/father out for lunch on Father's Day and they had a great lunch special for $39. You get a three-course meal with a nice quantity of choices. The waiter, Kieran was phenomenal. He was attentive, kind, personable, and a gentleman. The manager, Turap was also amazing. He made sure we were happy throughout our meal and asked did we needed anything. Nice atmosphere with nice decor. Outside seating is available and they have a cute bar area. I ordered the meat sushi, 5 oz filet mignon with Yukon mashed potatoes, and the traditional baklava. All entrees were very flavorful, tender, and filled with love. The filet mignon was so tender it melted in your mouth. I had a lychee martini and a delicious regular decaf coffee. They gave us a complimentary coffee shot from Turkey that was also delicious. Note: Great place for gatherings, special occasions, lunch, or dinner with affordable prices for the quality of steaks, etc. If your steak needs a little more cooking they will cook the pieces in front of you at your table which is cool. Parking can be tough if valet is not open, but they have parking. The street and parking structures are across the street.

I had been wanting to try Nusr-Et Steakhouse since it opened up. Some of my friends that had been there said it was cheaper to fly to Turkey, eat at Nusr-Et's there, and fly back then to eat here. They weren't kidding, the menu offers a golden tomahawk (35 oz) at a whopping $1100!!! Fortunately for me they offered a reasonably priced lunch menu which comes with a choice of appetizer (Nusr-et salad, caesar salad, avocado salad, salmon tartar,or meat sushi), main (NY steak, filet mignon, wagyu burger, salmon, or meat heart with cheese), and dessert (fruit, baklava, or Turkish ice cream). Lunch $39 - I opted for the meat sushi, NY steak prepared medium rare (it came with a side of sauteed mushrooms), and baklava. The meat sushi consisted of 3 pieces. Each piece consisted of a little bit of rice topped with a thin slice of flavorful wagyu beef, avocado cream and some crispy strings of potato. For me this was the highlight of the meal and really wowed me. Next up I ordered the NY steak was only 5 oz and while it was tender, it did have quite a bit of fat and wasn't all that flavorful. The baklava was served warm but a little too sweet for my liking as it had too much syrup. But still it wasn't bad taste wise. Overall the lunch price wasn't bad, considering I was in Beverly Hills. Service was excellent and the indoor decor is very modern and upscale. I wasn't too impressed with the steaks here and have had better elsewhere, but I can say that I did enjoy my experience here. A few hundred feet away is a public parking structure owned by the city that offers 2 hours of free parking and then $6 an hour after that. It's located in front of Mastro's.

The food was 4/5 But love my steak. Service was highly 5/5 And Ambiance was beautiful and nice. The waiter hana I think her name was she is Turkish and love her behavior.Never expected that around LA. The Best ice cream imported from turkey which was given complimentary goat milk vanilla ice cream was extremely good. So will come back again for the ambiance and food tbh.

I had a great time at Nusr-Et Steakhouse. The lunch menu for $39pp is simply amazing. My husband and I ordered the meat sushi and salmon tartare as appetizers, mushrooms and mashed potatoes as sides, a 5oz filet mignon, and a New York steak as main courses, and baklava and traditional Marash ice cream for dessert. We enjoyed every dish served. They were all beautifully presented and satisfying to our tastebuds. We also had Turkish tea, which went well with the desserts. Ambiance was comfortable and nice. We'd like to thank Tamara for the lovely experience. She went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect for us! We would definitely come back again and recommend this to our friends.

$39 for lunch is just a lure.. if you want a regular steak, a side and a soda you'll end up over $100.

LUNCH OFFER: $39 SCAM Since Saltbae's offers a new lunch special for $39 which includes appetizer, entree, and desert, I thought give it a chance. But too good to be true.. However, this offer is deceiving. If you expect a steak you have to add $21 for a 10oz NY strip steak - no sides!! A side such as fries has to be ordered a la carte, which means you pay $12 for fries at lunch. And on top, if you want Baklava for desert you pay also extra, $9 in this case. Overall this offer is like a bad joke. In the end you'd end up with far over $100/person for lunch, considering my choices, a side, a soda drink, tip and tax. In a nutshell: The offer is deceiving, and pricing is still delusional far away from a being reasonable value. Saltbae & Mgmt: Why still trying to rob the bank instead of trying honest & fair business.?! You'd be for sure more successful. My unexcited rating: 1-2 stars.

How to book large parties of 14?

Does anybody know a phone number that actually work for this place? The one listed doesn't. I am trying to get a hold of them to see if I left my wallet.

Is it as good as the Dubai Jumiera Beach location? Photos don't look like the same menu (Steak cooked table side in a tray of sizzling butter and Flintstone sized lamb chops)?

Yes, they have both dishes in their menu and although I've never been to the Dubai location, I've been to several of their locations in the USA and the quality has been consistently excellent.

Anyone know what the price range is? Nothing posted.

Very expensive. Our dinner for 7 was $1600 without dessert.

    Is the meat halal?

    Only lamb is halal

    Is salt bae always there?

    No, he travels all over

Is there a burger lunch special with baklava?

Nope, everything is premium prices here.

Is it safe to wear high heels? Is the floor slippery or not

    Totally safe!

Why do the menu pictures keep getting deleted?

They don't want you to see the prices!!

    Is it kids friendly?

    Yes

    Is the meat halal/zabihah?

My friend went on opening night and was told it is not.

    How do we make reservations?

You can call the restaurant or make reservations on Open Table.

    Do they have gold tomahawk?

    Yes

Is there any halal options available?

They have halal lamb Seafood And salads and some other vegetarian options on the menu

    Is it halal?

No it's not except halal lamb

    Is this place Kid friendly?

Absolutely!!!! Nusr-et actually loves kids!! If you bring your kids, your kids will Def get the extra attention from him!! 😁

How does pictures work? Does salt bae only take pics after your meal? Or do you just have to catch him when he's free? Does he take pics after cutting your steak?

Whenever you can grab him he will stop to take a picture with you. The table side cutting depends on how much you spend and how busy he is.

    Are small breed dogs allowed?

I didn't see anyone bringing any dogs besides a service dog

    Is there a menu?

Someone posted a picture of it on here if you want to see it before. Also, you scan and the menu pops up on your phone when you arrive at your table.

Is any of the meat halal?

    No except halal lamb option

Service was well paced with the first course arriving in a few minutes followed by the main. We didn't have high expectations for the cold tofu and okra but it was delicious and the tofu soaked up the soy based sauce and was balanced by the slight crunchiness of the okra. The waffle fries were exceptional - double fried with a curry aioli sauce. The tonkatsu and ramen were also great. The tonkatsu had a light, crispy batter and the ramen was so delicious, with the addition of corn, peas, black fungus and bamboo shoots, truly comforting. The burger was a hit, too. Juicy and flavorful. The small details here didn't go unnoticed, the unique plates, nice bamboo chopsticks and cute hippo candy plate. We chose to sit in front by the open windows since it was such a nice afternoon but the dining area further inside was welcoming, too. I've also been here outside of DineLA and it's just an overall solid experience.

Update- was really looking forward to dinner at Chubby Curry. My friends and I have patronized this…read moreplace since it opened. It was our go-to place for almost two years. We hadn't been in about 6 months and decided to drop in for dinner before a movie- Wow, has it changed- and not in a good way. There were fewer staff and they were spread thin, with not even half the tables full. The place was a little unkept. The menu is all digital- so we had some questions ordering our favorites. We got the Wagu steak with rice and curry and the breaded chicken breast. When the Wagu arrived it was unrecognizable- brown and looked over cooked - no pink. The entire dish was completely unappetizing. It was sad looking. I tried to show the server that this looked nothing like the menu photos in the front wall. He was already flustered and told me "to calm down ma'am" and that is "how it comes- we put soy sauce on it." The calm down nonsense was a real put off. My next question was, why is a restaurant putting soy sauce on perfect Wagu? None of the menu photos show soy sauce. We have never had soy sauce drenched Wagu here ever. The amount of soy sauce - if any-- is up to the guest. We all have our sodium preferences, right? I personally liked their Wagu plate as is. I tried to get the server to follow me to the front wall to show him the photo of all their Wagu dishes on their front wall and he was really not happy. Those photos were how their food always looked- fresh- colorful and delicious looking. The comparison was stunningly different- he would not hear it - and was visible upset with me. Sending this back caused quite a problem- more like an argument with the server who insisted this is how Wagu comes. It does not and I posted a review previously with photos from several visits to this once fun to eat at place. They offered to remake it and I caught the server and chef's convo. Chef was bewildered with the whole no soy sauce thing. The server came back with a small piece of Wagu in a service cup to show me what their Wagu looked like before the soy sauce bath. It was not the bright fresh pink. It was gray, like it had been prepped a couple days ago and refrigerated. Completely unacceptable and not appetizing. I told them to please not remake it. It would be a waste and please Just remove it and we'd order something else. The server was so upset with me he told me he would remove everything and not charge us at all. I felt that was unfair to the restaurant and his attitude was like don't order anything, and do not come back. My guy friend insisted that we pay and the server came back with a bill for just the chicken. I gave him cash for everything we ordered including the Wagu, and he brought me almost all the money back. I was particularly insulted by this. This was such negative energy- I did not want to touch it. I left all the money on the table and left. Message to the owner- replacing servers with digital menus does not lessen their work. it increases their time explaining what dishes are and how dishes come. You need more people because servers have more work in less time. I really felt for this server and did not feel any of this was his fault. The quality drop in food, the excess work due to digital menus, and food not matching the promises made in photos at the front wall from opening day are not your server's fault. We were expecting the same consistency and were sadly disappointed. We will not be returning.

They were awesome and that kid had such a smile on his face when his burger arrived. I would give this place 6 stars if yelp would let me. Grapow Smash: Typical smash burger with a perfectly cooked egg. The resulting gooey yolk was glorious and the bun did its best till its structural integrity failed with about 2/3rds yet. The Grapow added quite a bit of heat but the sweet potato fries helped to tamp that down. The only thing that kept this burger out of the top 5 was the pickle. It simply was blown out by the onslaught of richness and the burger needed a briney element to provide balance. We are in nitpicky range here with this.
