This was my first visit to Sweet Green and I was very happy with my chicken Caesar salad wrap. It tasted fresh, the kale was chopped up fine so easy to eat and plenty of sauce with extra on the side at no additional charge. There was a gentleman working behind the counter with dark curly hair (I didnt catch his name since they don't wear name tags) but this guy is a star employee and if corporate is listening- invest in people like him. The whole time that we ate inside during our meal, I saw him greet every single customer who came in- even if he was busy, he acknowledged every one immediately and said he would be right with them. I saw him speed grabbing 3 online orders and put them together SO fast (one of them was mine) and it came out perfect with all my modifications correct. He was quick, accurate and attentive to customers. This was earlier today on 5/16 in the afternoon. Corporate needs to highlight this guy as employee of the month if they haven't already. My only wish is that there was a Sweetgreen closer to me so I could eat there more often! Also protip- download their app and make a rewards account for $5 off your first app order. read more

We stopped here after shopping at the mall. It was during the weekday so all of the business people were eating here for lunch and it was crowded. This is like the Chipotle of salads. Very expensive, but just so delicious and healthy. One of the few places with like antibiotic, free chicken and not using weird seed oils. read more

I order from here at least once a month, usually ordering ahead on the app and going to pick it up in the mall. It's a really nice location with ample indoor and outdoor seating. Staff are friendly. Pretty fast turnaround from ordering on the app to picking it up. Once they were out of the complimentary bread and gave me free focaccia instead without my asking. Now that's customer service! If you've never been to Sweetgreen, know that once you try it you won't be able to go without it. It is the first place that got me excited about salad. My go-to is the Shroomami but their seasonal salads are worth trying and I love to make a custom salad with the green goddess ranch or hot honey mustard. I always add a grain so it feels more like a hearty bowl rather than a regular salad. The hot honey chicken bowel is also great, and I recommend subbing chicken for salmon every once in a while! Love that you can customize every bowl and the app recently introduced rewards which was a long time coming for $17 salads. read more

This place is very poorly managed and unorganized. Shroomami was the only vegetarian option on the menu so I ordered that. I stood in a line, and one employee quickly put kale in my bowl and moved it to the next employee. There was 5 other customers in front of mine, as it's much faster to put one green than multiple toppings for each customer. Very poorly coordinated. I came here over the weekend and made sure to order ahead to avoid any long lines. When I arrived, my meal was ready and waiting for me in the pick up area. It was packaged well and clearly labeled to ensure it had what I ordered. I ordered the create your own bowl and all of the veggies and fruit were very crisp and fresh. The grains were also perfectly cooked and still warm. My favorite dressings are the spicy cashew dressing and pesto dressing which are both perfectly savory and really complement one another. I also love the soft freshly made bread they put on top which is even more enjoyable when dipped in the dressings. The meal was very hearty and filling and a great value. They have both inside and outside seating and there is usually a table easily available. I love their outside patio which was pretty clean (although some of the tables did need to be wiped down a bit better) and was very comfortable. It's in the perfect location in the mall where it's a little quieter and less busy yet still allows you to people watch. My family visited Sweetgreen while we were running around the Beverly Center. We had just finished getting out of prison, so we were super hungry. A lot of places at the mall were really crowded and had a wait, but then we saw sweetgreen and it was a miraculous sight because there was no line! We rushed in and were able to see all their salady goodness on display. I decided to go for the least healthy looking thing, which I thought was the Chicken Pesto Parm. Though it did have roasted chicken and not a fried Parmesan chicken breast... so I guess it couldn't have been all that unhealthy. We also got some Buffalo cauliflower thing on the side to share as a family. We each ordered a dish, so we ended up with 3 salads. Never did I ever think that I could have too much salad in one sitting until the day I ate these "sweet"greens (spoiler, they're not very sweet). The salads were huge portions, and I usually eat my salads raw with no dressing (the non-green toppings act as my dressing), so it was quite a chore to chew through all that fibrous material. I ended up caving and using a lot of the dressing (I even had to come back to the counter to get an extra heaping helping of the pesto sauce). Unfortunately, the dressing didn't have much flavor to it; it was so light that I had to go back to the counter a few more times to get more of that saus to drown my greenies. The Buffalo Cauliflower side was also very funky, it was cold and crunchy like a dry, but sometimes soggy cereal, but not in a very appetizing healthy breakfast kind of way. So if you come by for a taste of the sweetgreens because the queues at the other restaurants around the mall are too long and you end up ordering a salad, I'd recommend that you top it with LOTS of extra dressing, cuz baby it's cold outside and you don't want your salad to catch a cold... even when it's already served cold. And you're eating a salad, you can make it a little more unhealthy. read more

Loved this spot in Century City mall. Been wanting to try it for a while now and i'm glad I did! There are a lot of menu options and you can also build your own salad. I ordered the guacamole salad which was really good. I asked for no onions and got cucumbers instead. I felt like they could have been more generous with the chicken portion. The dressing was really good as well. Overall, I think this place is good but the pricing is not reasonable. It was $15 for a salad that was mainly spinach and arugula. As a backhanded compliment, it doesn't help that sweetgreen is conveniently on the way to the parking lot. This is also the first location where I was able to get the rosemary focaccia bread that was pretty good. At least a couple months ago, it wasn't offered as an option on the online ordering, so that is why I never saw it before. Maybe only certain locations offer it? I know this might be wrong for me bringing this up, but if you place an online order, you have to pick it up within a certain period of time or else they discard it. Well, I'm going to say they certainly do not do this, and I'm GLAD, because my idiot self actually wanted 5:15p as my pick up time, but I somehow put in 4:15p. I dreaded going here having to explain my stupidity, but I arrived and checked the wall just in case, and my salad was still there. Perhaps it was just a slow day and they forgot, but I was alright with that. As soon as I got home and opened my salad, I saw this blue thing on a piece of the boiled egg (which I paid the extra $1.50 for). Located right across from Nordstrom, it's a nice alternative from its other competitors such as Tender Greens and the whole food court. The staff here is very nice and the energy inside is contagious. Everything about sweetgreen is about being sustainable and using local products and that's something everyone can root for. I got an order of the guacamole greens and I was happy with my choice! I love avocados and you can never go wrong with avocados in a salad. I was hoping the avocados were a little more like guacamole in how it's advertised but I can't complain when it's prepared fresh right in front of you. You're set down an assembly line and your bowl can easily be customized. The limo cilantro dressing was phenomenal and I highly recommend it! This restaurant is fairly new and pretty good! I hadn't gone before because I thought there were no meat options, but the menu actually has a healthy something for everyone I'd say. There isn't a ton of indoor seating but there's a decent sized patio outside. Inside, you order your salad chipotle style (unless it's just a pre-planned entree). I had the Chicken Pesto Parm which was honestly one of the best salads I've ever had that didn't have grilled chicken (I normally prefer chicken grilled). If you like large portions (filling, but not so much I needed takeout) and rich flavor in your salad try this. It had roasted chicken, spicy broccoli (which wasn't burning spicy as much as it had a strong hint of flavor), cherry tomatoes, shaved Parmesan, breadcrumbs, warm quinoa, organic spinach and pesto vinaigrette. I don't like hot sauce so I didn't get it but it normally comes with that. HIGHLY recommend to someone looking for a healthy option that doesn't feel too boring. CASH IS NOT KING... BUT SERVICE IS Yesterday, I was excited to take advantage of Sweetgreen's $5 Greens Day, so that I could score a Harvest Bowl, which is usually $10.50. I signed up for the texts to show the required badge and read the fine print. Since I hadn't been here since the pandemic started, I was surprised to see two lines were available: one for in-store pick-up, and one for in-store ordering. The pick-up line was bustling, but I strolled right up to the counter and ordered immediately. Everything went smoothly until my sweet server, Eva, informed me they don't accept cash! I don't use credit cards unless it's an emergency, so I didn't have one on me. Nor, do I carry a debit card. Had I known, I would have planned accordingly. I was so disappointed. If only Sweetgreen had reminded me on their app, text and website that they don't accept cash! I told Eva I was upset and apologized for not being able to buy the salad she had prepared for me. I was already out the door and in the mall when Eva came running after me, calling my name. She explained that Sweetgreen gives employees one salad a day, and she wanted to give me hers. I didn't want to deprive her, but she explained she wasn't going to eat it that day. I couldn't believe her generosity! Way to go Eva! You turned an unpleasant situation into the nicest one of the day. The roasted chicken, roasted sweet potatoes, crisp apples, goat cheese, roasted almonds, and warm wild rice over the spring mix I substituted for shredded kale was the perfect antidote for a healthy dinner. I tossed it with balsamic vinaigrette, bringing the variety of flavors and textures to a perfect crescendo. Today I got a salad and I FOUND A SMALL WORM dancing in my salad. I've heard stories about people finding worms in their salads, just never thought it would happen to me. I understand that it's a salad so it could happen but just thinking that I might have eaten alive worm gross me out. I had to throw away the entire bowl and skip lunch. First of all, let me say that Westfield Century City is the most frustratingly confusing mall I've ever had to navigate around. I'm not proud to admit this but it took me 4 circles around this damn mall just to find sweetgreen. It's in a bit of an odd location: across Nordstrom and away from all the food places near/in the food court. It's definitely on its own in a corner. The search was worth it though. The salads are amazing. I like their selections of warm and cold salads. I had the rustic tomato salad and I haven't been able to stop thinking about it since. The kale was soft and moist, the balsamic vinaigrette wasn't overwhelming, the tomatos were tart, the quinoa was soft, and the chicken was so tender. And it was warm, which I loved. All around amazing. They also ask you whether you want light, medium, or heavy amount of dressing which I appreciated. $14 for that one salad. Pricey? Definitely. Am I going to go get this salad again tomorrow anyways? Probably. read more
