I wanted to take my dogs out to lunch and ended up at True Food Kitchen at Westfield Century City last Monday, March 23. I've been to this mall many times but didn't know this place existed as it was a little difficult to find but we found it! The overall experience was pretty good. I did feel a little weird about the guy greeting us when we walked in for a table----it was empty as it was a little before 3pm and after their lunch rush. My roommate and I walked in with two dogs (one in a stroller). He asked if it was just us two and then asked whether we wanted to sit inside or outside. I told him wherever we could sit with our pups and he said 'There's not that much shade outside.' I repeated that I had my dogs with me and pointed to them and he led us outside. He gave us a table that was half shaded and there were maybe two other parties scattered on their patio. When the server greeted us, we asked her if it was at all possible if she could move the umbrella just a little bit to give us more shade (no other tables were using it) and she did it with no problem. Our server (I can't remember her name and I'm sorry for that) was excellent. She was very knowledgeable and friendly. She gave us great recommendations. I ordered an order of air fried fries to share for the table and I was trying to decided between a couple of things but ended up deciding on their Jambalaya and got a side of shrimp and a side of chicken for the pups. I ordered an iced tea to drink and that was refilled promptly. Portions are perfect, flavors are clean, prices are reasonable. I finished everything and felt very full by the end of the meal but not gross. I'm kind of upset I didn't know about this place before. My dogs very much enjoyed their time----the location was very peaceful. On the website and other photos I've seen of the menu for True Food Kitchen showed photos of a lunch menu but when we asked, this location only seems to have one all day menu. Not an issue, just to be aware if you were looking at one of their lunch menus and thought something on their looked good. I didn't feel like drinking so I didn't get any alcoholic beverages but they do have them and can't wait to try them next time.

The Seasonal Roasted Butternut Squash Pizza is a great vegan pizza. Also, it's great that nutrition information is listed on the menu including protein and calories.

I had the pleasure of dining here at True Food Kitchen during a private event. I never even realized this restaurant was there honestly. The inside is very clean, spacious, plenty of seating and a great place to set a networking/business lunch. The servers were extremely friendly and gave great recommendations for good drinks to have. I am extremely glad we found this place because my newest obsession has been the Edamame Dumplings (Veg). I honestly could not get enough of them and I wish they came in a bigger size order. I also truly enjoyed the Mediterranean Hummus (V). Both of these being great options for someone who is vegetarian!

I got to try True Food Kitchen the other day and I had a really good experience. The restaurant is nice and spacious and we sat in the outside area with the pups. The food was very tasty and light with very clean flavors. Healthy food done right! I really liked my iced lavender matcha latter as well. I got the turkey burger with the kale salad and I enjoyed both. Our waitress was also excellent. I'll definitely be coming back to try more things.

If you need a food spot or bar with TVs to catch some of a sports game, True Food is an excellent (and possibly the only) option for you. I had a Lucy Liu Q&A at the AMC at Century City Mall and HAD to quickly catch the end of the LA Rams game with 30 minutes left. Thank the heavens for True Food Kitchen! I was able to belly up to the bar and watch my guys clinch a Playoff spot. The staff was friendly and great the whole time, with one guy knowing wassup as we quipped about old man Rivers being back in play. My friend hadn't been to True Food before so we started with the Edamame Dumplings as I knew they would be a hit. Yep, my friend agreed those little fellas slapped. We also tried their pizza and enjoyed that, as well. They have gluten-friendly crusts! Again, I love that True Food lists the calories and protein - 1000 and 26g for this sourdough crusted za. The Seasonal Roasted Butternut Squash Pizza also had lemon almond ricotta dollops on top with some caramelized onions, raisins and organic kale. Solid thin pizza! True Food Kitchen is a little off the beaten path when you're at the mall, but trust me it's worth a visit!

We ordered the guacamole with flatbread, teriyaki quinoa bowl with steak and salmon, jambalaya pasta and chicken tenders with fries for our daughter. Everything tasted good, no complaints. Ambience was nice. I noticed there were a lot of families with kids which made us feel more comfortable dining with our 2 year old. Service was slow, our starter took a while to come out. Our server was okay but looked pretty distracted and in a rush. Place got a little busy so we had to get his attention for our check and some to go containers. I can definitely see us coming back for the food and hopefully the service will be better next time.

Love the atmosphere here, everything is delicious, nutritional, healthy, and very affordable that you can enjoy the food, drinks and desert here. Pearson is amazing, taking good care of us all the time. Would definitely visit here again and again.

Dined here last Saturday night. I really liked the atmosphere and the great service so I am sorry to report that I did not care for the Salmon meal ($30). The Salmon was not that good and I would not order it again. The Salmon was dry, and had that bitter aftertaste like you get from fish just unfrozen. The vegetable also tasted just reheated. The rice was fine. For $30 this is not the kind of meal I want. What this restaurant excelled in was the Organic Black Coffee. I would definitely come back here for the Organic Black Coffee--it was delicious! Maybe the best black coffee I have had--and they had unlimited refills! Yes! I just don't know if I would come back here for food? Parking is in the mall parking lot and it's expensive to park here--everyone knows that. Parking cost is one of the reasons I don't shop in this mall often. We came here to see a movie at AMC. Even with the movie validation, the cost of parking for True Food and the 3 hour movie was $16.00! That's a lot in my book.

The quality of the ingredients makes up for the overall taste of the dishes. Guess it's a peace of mind knowing the sourcing is better than other places I feel like True Foods service has taken a dive from my past few experiences Food 4/5 Adaptogen tulsi tea = 5/5 one of my fav teas Truffle edamame = soggy and cold 2/5 Hummus = pretty bland 3/5 Burger = average at best 3/5 Passion fruit tart = very very sour - a sour that makes your face cringe 3/5 Flourless chocolate cake w/ice cream = 3/5 definitely better than the fruit tart lol Salad = the better dish of the few but to much cheese 4/4 Service 3/5 Average service, not sure if it's because we came at the end of the night Ambience 3/5 Sticky residue on the bar seating.. sticky enough for your plates and napkins to stick

Super yummy restaurant that leaves you guilt free for eating such delicious foods. This is a little hidden at the mall but definitely worth the visit. There was plenty of seating inside and outside but it was raining so we chose inside. Our waitress was friendly. I ordered a chicken sandwich with fries and it was so good!

Stopped by for the DineLA special. We got an app, main, and dessert for $35. We came on a Sunday around 5p so it was a still quiet. The place is quite expansive and lots of room inside and outside. The apps we got were tasty: the hummus and dumplings were filling and delicious. The lasagna entree had a great pesto to complement the turkey bits. The plant based double cheeseburger tasted good but the "meat" didn't hold too well. Service was good; we were able to get in and out in 60 minutes which helped since the mall has 60 minutes free parking.

Great place to stop if you're at the mall and want a quick bite to eat. The best part about it is it is all pretty healthy options. I tried the air fried tenders and they were delicious and fresh. Super clean environment and the staff were all very friendly.

I got the skirt steak cooked medium rare -- flavor was good, but it was a little tough to cut. I think it would've paired even better with some garlic butter or chimichurri on the side. The mac and cheese was SO good and easily one of the highlights of the meal. Creamy, flavorful, and definitely something I'd order again. The pork chops were delicious and packed with flavor, but the spinach underneath was a bit too bitter for my taste. The mashed potatoes were creamy, soft, and comforting. We also loved the Brussels sprouts and Caesar salad -- both were super solid sides. Drinks were perfect and balanced out the dishes really well. Service and atmosphere were great too. I even called about an hour after I got home because I started getting a scratchy throat and realized I didn't specifically ask if there were strawberries in the raspberry sorbet (I'm allergic and that was completely my mistake for not double checking before I chowed down) but the host that answered was super nice, I could hear in the background her double checking with a server, who then even double checked with the kitchen to make sure they were giving me the correct answer which I really really appreciate. We ordered a bunch of cocktails along with a few glasses of red wine and champagne. The cocktails were definitely the highlight. We tried the Blackberry, Cucumber, Snow Pea, Tomato, and Daikon. The Tomato cocktail was my favorite by far -- savory, balanced, and not overly sweet. Blackberry was a close second, really refreshing and easy to drink. My first glass of champagne was unfortunately flat and pretty gross but to their credit they replaced it immediately once I mentioned it. Still, for an upscale restaurant, that was a little annoying to begin with. For food, we got the asparagus, burger, fries, abalone, and the bluefin tuna belly deviled eggs. The abalone was easily the standout dish of the night. Everything else ranged from just okay to forgettable. The burger sucked. Overall, I'd come back for drinks and would give the food another shot since the menu changes pretty frequently but this particular meal didn't totally hit for me.

Two days ago Los Angeles Magazine published the following article by Leo Li:…read morehttps://share.google/HxL9oDf3vhjQAtjRF "Where to Watch the World Cup in Los Angeles," looking through it I found The Henry; a place in my neighborhood. The write-up on The Henry makes it sound like a fun place to watch a game after work. I called in advance to make sure that the information in the write up was accurate. I was told that they expected heavy traffic for the game and dinner service. I inquired about a reservation near the bar with a view of the game. I was informed that the "high top" tables near the screens were already booked but that I was welcomed to sit at the bar as available. Up to that point I hadn't heard anything that I wasn't prepared to hear particularly on a Friday during the World Cup so I took a chance had went there with a friend hoping to have a great time. We arrived shortly before 5pm to enjoy a bit of the happy hour menu before dinner. We were greeted and offered a table by the bar near the screens with the condition that we needed to be done by 6:30. Well that wasn't going to work because the game started at 6pm. We sat ourselves at the end of the bar about 20 feet from the two tv screens...perfect! The good: the space is beautiful. Warm pretzel bites with fondue were amazing. The garlic fries were crispy. The Sangria was delicious. The bad: bar service was minimal despite a sparse crowd at the bar. I had to reach across the bar counter to grab myself drink coasters for my Sangria, beer, water and my friend's beverage because the condensation kept dripping on my clothes. The bar tender never bothered to come back and check how my cocktail was as most bar tenders do. The fact that there were three makes it more astounding. The really bad: there was a power outage in the restaurant (not the entire block) 5 minutes before kickoff. 10-15 minutes into the game the power came back on but only one tv was functional. Early on there was a bit of a rush to rectify the matter but as time went on, it seemed to become a non-issue despite concern from those around the bar that we couldn't watch the game. No apologies were offered by management at the time. Not even water was offered a jester of good faith while they sorted out the issue. Like a few others, we decided to cut our losses and left at half time. The buzz at the bar was to meet at Lucky Strikes to finish watching the game. Prior to leaving I approached a woman who seemed concerned with the tv malfunction and asked if she was part of the management. She responded that she was and I proceeded to explain my utter disappointment in the experience. She looked profoundly distraught with my observations...At least that's what I told myself in order to not feel like this had been a complete waste of time. We left without having dinner while watching the game. What a shame because the menu sounded appealing. Oh, BTW the high top table in front of the tv was still vacant by the time we left at half time. Not sure it would've mattered because the tv was malfunctioning anyway. I am truly puzzled by what made the author of the article think that The Henry would be a great place to catch a game of any sort. Our server, the space, decor, location and menu items we tried were amazing. The overall attention to detail, attentiveness to customers and overall experience was not one that I would recommend on a Friday night during the World Cup. CLEARLY, the author missed his mark on this one. Oddly enough, we ran into four others from The Henry at Lucky Strikes. No electricity/media issues there.

It's not often you notice a server assistant this much, but Maya really stood out she was so nice and sweet and made us feel welcomed. I would absolutely come back and would love to have them again.

As a near regular at this location, I expected more and was quite disappointed today, and am sorry…read moreI have to bring my review down so many notches. Service was slow, they assumed we wanted everything at once, and some of the food was subpar and definitely not on point. Because we asked for our "breads" after 30 minutes just to get started, they though we suddenly wanted everything (our breads being scones and a cinnamon roll). We should have stated or they should have asked, would you like us to bring everything out at once or the small plates first. First miss. Eggs Benedict was bland, under seasoned, and english muffins like two plastic frisbees. Second miss. Slow service and attitude of server not the friendliest, third miss. Table service was slow/inattentive. We had to ask for silverware on more than one occasion. Service seemed somewhat more disorganized than usual (it's usually a little disorganized, not always great). I'm taking this, unfortunately, off my go to/recommended list as it's become inconsistent and no longer worth taking chances on for the service and food.
