Rettman ( Leon) worked with us to revise quotes to give us the best look for the price. They ripped it out; trimmed pine trees, cut one down, ripped out fountain and evergreen spreaders that were pushing retaining wall out; removed windburned arborvitaes, created a new rock edge section, added pavers and removed gravel but reused it in plant beds . They were on time, checking all the way to see what my daughter wanted and made creative suggestions about the look. We had them lay down fabric and mulch to create a bug free haven and wide open space. It was worth every penny $ 4400 and they cleaned up like they were never there. Five and a half weeks later, the project was completed. Many issues lead to this project taking so long. They misquoted on the rock estimate and ran out of rock, they broke into my main sprinkler line, and did not properly fix the first time, the damage to the grass to fix the sprinkler line, the short cuts on the weed barrier leading to grass and weeds coming up through the rock, the second delivery of rock which sat piled up in my driveway for a week before coming back out to complete. My biggest complaint is that they lack follow up and communication. Other than the very first day of the project, I never knew when they would show up. At one point, after not seeing or hearing from anyone, I had to email EnJay wondering if they just 'abandoned' my project??. The only consistent follow up I received was when they wanted full payment at the end of the project, and did not even offer a discount for their lack of service and communication for the many issues they had along the way. I was told EnJay is new to getting into the residential landscaping business, but I would recommend that you call a more experienced company that has the track record of bidding and completing projects on time. P.S. If you notice EnJay does not have a review page on their home website, all reviews are completed through third party sites. Now I know why

The website stated they were reliable and claimed they completed projects on time. Antonio came out and provided me a bid. I changed my mind and he again came out to verify with me just want I wanted. That was the beginning of 8+ projects. Antonio was very easy to communicate with and let me know of changes in availability of products immediately. He honored my choices and he designed my landscaping as I had no vision. The plants, retaining wall, planting beds, deck , removing old planters and the lighting gave me my own private oasis. His choices have given me a yard I did not imagine. His quote was far lower than the other 6 quotes I received and better customer service. I had quotes that ranged from $4,000 - $12,000. Yep, you read that right! Matt and 4 crew members came out and cut down 6 large trees, tons of buckthorn, 3 dead lilac bushes and several other small things. Matt also pruned every tree on the property and it looks great! We wanted more sun and he accomplished that! Also, his team had to work in almost freezing rain and snow. The part I liked the best was the clean-up. Matt's team raked up every little stick and blew off any sign that he was even at the property. My backyard had some tire tracks from his machine, but we talked about that before the job was started. My lawn was very soft and it was raining out - this sort of thing was expected. Getting the 6 quotes was a headache and quite frankly annoying. I am happy to have this project completed!!!
