I am so incredibly impressed with this shop. Most nutrition shops are filled with juice head salesmen who just want you to buy buy buy but this place is the complete opposite. Not only do you leave informed but they also offer free samples if you want to try something. Noah was so knowledgeable about the products and how they can help you. I really was lost in this whole supplement gain. Recently started a new weight loss journey and didn't know where to begin with supplements. Went in and talked to an employee there (forgive me but I forgot her name!!) she took her time with me and showed me different options, eventually she could tell i was quite overwhelmed and said something I didn't expect she goes "look I could tell you to buy this and that and just get you the most expensive stuff, but that's terrible and won't help you towards your goal. Let's keep it simple and go for some meal replacement protein shake powders, a pre workout, and some BCAA orals." I Just had to leave a great review for this place. I walked in, a little nervous because I am trying to do this weight loss thingy over again and I was totally lost on what to get. ***UPDATE*** I've since dropped this to a 1-star rating because the weigh-in information I received was so far off it's ridiculous. They measured me at almost twice my BMI and BF% (I went and had myself checked out thinking I was in a dangerous health zone). Now I'm wondering if they do this just to sell supplements! ----------------- After hearing my co-worker rave about how great this place was, I couldn't wait to go in an try it for myself. She had gone in and gotten weighed, was given meal plans, and supplement advice. I wasn't even asked my name. I got my weigh-in results and was basically told to take it home, look it over, and come back with any questions. I was expecting to be given some suggestions on how to improve since I don't really know what I should be asking. I'm not sure if he was more concerned with the other people in the store or if he was new and didn't really know how to go over stuff with me. The shop was surprisingly busy for a Sunday morning (there was probably 4-5 of us, versus just one NutriShop employee). I took my results and left. I'm so disappointed and I'm not sure if I would return to try again. Just didn't feel like a new person was as important as the regulars (two other people were there for scans too). I couldn't imagine giving Nutrishop anything less than five stars. Bit flummoxed by seeing four star reviews. What could possibly warrant a lost star? Have these people not encountered Carolyn at The Vitamin Shoppe? THE PEOPLE! Short of actually rolling out a red carpet and carrying me from kiosk to kiosk in a rickshaw, I couldn't be treated better here. This is some of the most helpful and nicest staff I've encountered. I do not mean nice as in they're nice because it's part of servicing customers and they want my money. I mean nice as in each employee genuinely seems happy to be alive. They're the type of motivated people who would shop there. There are no high pressure tactics. If you want to quietly browse, you aren't hounded. If you need help, they'll help. If you need inspiration, just ask about Nadia! Look at her photos! They're the real deal here - real athletes. THE "NUTRISWAG"! Not ready to commit $60 on a giant bucket of protein? They'll give you a scoop. Not only that, if they have some in stock, they'll put that scoop in a shaker bottle and mix it for you with bottled water like you're a princess. Then you get to keep the shaker bottle. Need a gym towel? Need a tank top? If they have some, they'll give it you. At first, I was like "no thank you, I don't need a tank top." But now I love the tank top. I wasn't sure I needed towels either - wrong, wrong, wrong. They're the perfect gym towel. This is where Nutrishop becomes a little more than just a supplement shop. I go to a gym nearby and I've started noticing how many people are using their "nutriswag." It's lead to actual conversations - or the occasional approval nod from the powerlifter who used to side-eye my ridiculous/wobbly stiff-leg deadlifts. I'm starting to realize it's a community of people with similar goals. The people who shop at Nutrishop are not the same as the ones who shop at other places. Maybe community is not the right word - it's more like being the member of a secret club. THE SELECTION! There are some items here that I can't find anywhere else. Of course, there are some items that they don't carry, but The Vitamin Shoppe, Henry's and GNC do. That's because Nutrishop's target customer isn't a vague "everybody." It's tailored for people who want to be fit/athletes, but I wouldn't let that intimidate you from shopping here. That niche target is why it's so good. Once I've explained what item I wanted (that I used to pick up elsewhere) - there's usually something similar at Nutrishop that I end up liking much better. There will usually be some science behind it - why that particular product is better. Some of the amazing things they carry that I cannot easily find elsewhere: Nuts 'N More almond/peanut butters (I've looked at every almond butter on the market and nothing comes close to this one), Cocotein (not as rare of a find but the price point is the best in the city), Quest Bars (also not so rare but price! selection!) and Forza Pro proteins. THE PRICE! Always the best. I think Walmart beat them once by 4 cents on a pack of Redlines. Obviously though, isn't avoiding Walmart worth a lot more than 4 cents? Food and beverage items aren't extra-taxed. They pay the CRV on bottled items. So actually, in the end, I think they beat Walmart on Redlines (since that would have been at least 5 cents in CRV). Quest bars are $2 each. Less if you buy 12+. The only other place that might get you to that price is GNC (the one by Hobby Lobby - not the one in the mall) as they will price match. So if not for anything else, come here for the smart deals. It's really one of my favorite places in Temecula. read more

Noah directed me right where I needed to go and was very knowledgeable about the products that I inquired about. So I was looking for a new pre-workout and had some questions about taking my fitness to the next level. As soon as I walked into Nutrishop I was greeted as if I was family. Its never a bad thing to be greeted with a warm welcome. After answering a few of my questions concerning pre-workout, nothing was forced on me. I love that, I hate when I walk into a shop and everyone thinks they are a Wall Street Broker just trying to make sale off me. As a matter of fact I was encouraged to try some free samples before making a decision, again just making a sale was not a concern for the Sales Associates. This was definitely a great experience for me, I left feeling great and not overwhelmed by the typical "no lifting-out if shape-unknowledgeable associates" you get with typical Vitamin Shops.
