I've been a customer of Nutrition 4 Less for about 10 years, which is why this experience was so disappointing. In all my years shopping here, I've never dealt with such poor communication and complete disregard for a customer's time. I live about 2 hours away from the store, so I contacted an employee a full week before my trip and explained exactly what I wanted. He assured me that the items would be in stock and ready for pickup on Friday. Based on that promise, I made the 2-hour drive. When I arrived, I was told the items weren't in stock after all and that I would have to wait about 4 hours for them to arrive. This made no sense considering I had given a week's notice and was specifically told everything would be ready. To make matters worse, it didn't take 4 hours--it took about 8 hours before I finally received a message saying the items had arrived. Because I live so far away, I asked if I could come back the following morning to pick them up. The employee agreed and confirmed that would be fine. So the next day, I drove another 2 hours to the store, only to be told that the items had been sold to someone else. What really bothers me is that nobody thought it was important to send a simple text message or phone call letting me know they had sold the items. They knew I was coming. We had already agreed on a pickup time. Yet they still sold the products and allowed me to make a 2-hour drive for absolutely nothing. At that point, it became clear that the employee either couldn't keep his word or simply didn't care enough to follow through on what he promised. Either way, it's a terrible reflection of the business. Selling products that were supposedly being held for a customer and then failing to communicate that they were gone shows a complete lack of professionalism and respect. Wasting a customer's time is one thing, but wasting 8 hours of driving because an employee couldn't do something as basic as send a text message is unacceptable. After 10 years of supporting this business, this experience made me feel like my loyalty meant absolutely nothing. read more

I got a bad batch of the same protein powder I get all the time. I told the employee that it tasted perfumey and they said they couldn't replace it because I had already opened the protein powder. They offered a 33% discount for a new one. I lost like $60. How would I know if it was bad if I didn't at least taste the powder once? I would have to open it and try it. I stopped ordering from this place. Save yourself the potential of losing money. Go to some other place. read more

This location used to be decent. Employees seem bored at work, possibly because the gym next door has been closed for years so not much foot traffic. Place needs a massive remodel. It's dark and gloomy with dust everywhere. They don't carry the majority of cold pre workout anymore. I was in last week and saw only prime stocked. Inbody machine has been down for a bit. Employee said he didn't know the last time it's been calibrated. Overall this place is shit now. read more

Have to write another review. Stopped by last night to get some protein and was greeted by Matt and asked if he could help with anything. Asked him for their protein selection to which he informed me of all their selections, pros and cons and was very helpful and informative. He has a wonderful personality and very personable. He answered questions i had about different brands and asked for his opinions and suggestions. Was very pleased with his recommendation for nutra bio protein. I initially came in for whey isolate but after talking to Matt and based on my needs i ended up grabbing the nutra bio classic strawberry shortcake flavor. Tried it this morning mixed it with milk and it mixed very well and the flavor was spot on. The flavor was on point and i plan to mix it with smoothies in the future. The great part is that it was not overly sweet either. Just the right amount but nothing to make it stand out and taste disgusting. Nice blend and flavor. Highly recommend and can see why its flying off their shelf. Great experience and highly recommend talking to Matt if he is there. read more

I discovered this place after getting my hair done at the salon next door. It looks like a great place for purchasing your nutriotnal needs. They have many different brands even plant based products. Protein Powder, Pre workout, recovery, energy drinks. I didn't really need much but I did purchase the celsius and bangs by the case. the good thing is they allow you to mix and match with different flavors. Bangs is $24.00 per case and Celsius $25.00 per case. Price did go up but still resonable due to inflation. Staff is nice and helpful. read more

Nothing really special or different here. Staff was neutral. Seemed bored and phone distracted. Products pretty much available at most health shops. Prices are $30 and up for the majority of items. BE AWARE - THIS IS NOT A BIG CHAIN- so all sales are final. If you don't like the product, give it away. Oddly, in lieu of a refund, they offer to let you spend more money in their store at 30% off whatever item you pick. I didn't find this option appealing SO I still have the very sweet amino acids and protein powder I purchased. I will probably give them away. Way too much sucralose in both! read more

Every time I go to a nutrition shop, I always feel intimidated or overwhelmed or both! I was a little hesitant to come to Nutrition 4 Less (N4L) because I really do not know much about supplements! After a friend recommended me to try N4L, I gave in and came! I usually buy my supplements online so I do not have to deal with going into stores I do not feel comfortable in! After coming to N4L, Austin definitely made me feel comfortable and confident in the supplement choices I was making! He even threw in some work out tips and what to take before and after! He was really helpful! N4L has a TON of great deals and options! They also have some of the cutest shakers! To me it takes a lot of humility and integrity to call someone who "just blasted you on social media" and to apologize for your actions and that you wish you would've done things differently that day. I'm not sure who the manager or sales person's name is that assisted me but such a horrible experience that I've had the last 2 times that I've visited this place. Being unexperienced with supplements, my hopes were to go in to this store to get the help I needed and to gain some knowledge on understanding what supplements I needed meet my needs. However, the only worker that I've seen at this store was so unprofessional! His demeanor and responses makes you feel like you're answers are ridiculous, AND he tends to use beauty products as reference when explaining the benefits of supplements. He is extremely rude and unhelpful! I was so excited to go to this shop since Nutrishop in West Covina closed -- but as long as this worker is still there, I will NEVER visit this place again. This company really needs to re-evaluate their hiring process and ensure that they are selecting qualified employees that provide good customer service AND have the knowledge needed and thorough understanding on all products being provided at the store! read more

Great customer service & amazing prices! JT was super helpful with recommending a protein powder. I told him what I had been taking, the amount of sodium that it had, and I wanted something that didn't make me feel bloated. I preferred an ISO protein. JT recommended Bionutrition Mochacchino protein. I was a little hesitant but he told me to drink it with almond milk or cold water; it would taste like a caramel Machiatto from Starbucks. I bought the 2lb tub and did what he recommended. To my surprise, he was right - it was really good. Just FYI, it does have a little bit of Stevia aftertaste but I got over it. Now I am find craving it during my workouts. The 2lb tub, was done in 3 weeks. No bloating + Good Taste = I needed to purchase the 5lb tub. I went back to Nutrition4less and got the tub for $77.99 not including tax. If you get the 5lb tub on the BioHealth, website it's $109.99 that's $30+ savings ... now that's a bargain. I have been coming to this nutrition store for quite some time and don't know why it has taken so long to write a review because they are absolutely the best!! For years I was going to a store in Orange County when I live in West Covina and wanted to find a shop closer to home, I walked into this store hoping it would be my new place and I am so happy I did!! For someone like myself who doesn't have a lot of knowledge in supplements and what is needed for my personal goals I always get intimidated to go into a nutrition shop but from the first time I walked into nutrition for less I felt very comfortable and welcomed! David and JT have always been very helpful without ever feeling like salesman trying to push products on you. My boyfriend and I genuinely come in every 2 weeks for bang, or protein or BCAAs and to be honest we will probably continue too come to nutrition 4 less over any other nutrition shop for the service and knowledge and of course the pricing that you can not beat! read more

Very knowledgeable about their product and can advise you on which ones to take according to your workout/lifestyle plan. We come here at least one every two weeks to stock up on our Bang drinks they're priced at 12 for around $20 and you can mix and match with the variety of flavors that they have!
