We've come to this GNC multiple times because it has really good items compared to the other GNC's in the area but the manager who has curly-ish hair is a strong arm salesman but proceeds to be passive aggressive when you decline upgrades or memberships. It's really off putting and sometimes when I go into GNC and see her there I leave and try to go back on a day she isn't working. Everyone else is great though! read more

I know alot of people don't really care for GNC but I always get what I need from them. Plus, it pays to be a pro member you get alot of freebies. I'm leaving this review for the testosterone supplement GNC promotes. I tried this supplement due to all of the advertising they do on this supplement, Nugenix Ultimate and it did absolutely NOTHING for me. I take testosterone supplements (I am 52) and I cycle on and off of them, depending on the specific individual recommendation. I gave this one a try and it was a total waist of time and money. I also combined it with their Nugenix Thermo and I feel the same about that product. If you are serious about a testosterone supplement and workout try Testanol by Black Dragon Labs. You can also stack it with 5-alpha and Aromanex - outstanding results! I will be going back to that product next month! I am too old to be waisting time! lol! read more

Horrible customer service. I made an online pickup order and when I went to pick it up @3:30pm on 2/15, the gates were closed and there was a sign that the employees were out for break so I wait and wait and wait about 40 minutes while the one employee tries to hide from me as she's talking on the phone. Once again I ask her if they're going to open and after ignoring me the first time (still on the phone) she says 15 more minutes. She wasn't wearing a name tag but she was the girl with the fake blond highlights. I specifically made the order in advance so I could pick it up quickly but not only did I have to wait an HOUR for their "break", I was ignored and treated rudely. Do better. read more

I've shopped around several GNC's but the experience at the West Covina location has been life changing. I came in there looking for a miracle pill that will help me lose weight in 5 days but left with great advice from the staff, especially the manager with the glasses, that helped me get healthy and fit for a lifetime. I WILL definitely keep shopping here because the entire staff is always so attentive and helpful. GNC ROCKS!!! These employees could have simply sold me products that were costly but, instead, they took the time to review different options based on my diet and exercise. I did not feel pressured to buy just their brand. They took their job to the next level by genuinely caring whether I would get results that would last. I ended up buying a Women's Active Vitapack, Fish Oil, CLK, Lean Shakes, and a Cellucor BCAA. I would suggest this combo for any woman trying to lose weight and tone up! The sales associates here are awesome! I use to go to a variety of different supplement stores either due to convenience price or product knowledge but now I can't get myself to go anywhere but here. When I go in the associates are alway super helpful and never recommend me a thing I would use. I can't speak for all locations but if your a local, definitely swing by the GNC in the mall. This store LIES. I was calling around to different GNC's looking for a product in a certain brand. The guy Joe here said they had it. He even said the brand him self to me and said yes they had it. So i drive in traffic over an hour to this location and to my face says all i heard was the supplement not the brand. He is LIAR & im sure was hoping i would buy a GNC product. But theres no way i was gonna do that. This was my first time at a GNC & my last. I usually go to VITAMINSHOPP. They have great customer service & customer is always right. I ended up getting lucky today & finding a VITAMIN WORLD in same location they had everything i was looking for + more & the guy there was so great. Helped me right away. I found 6 supplements to buy and he was so great that i bought there store brand too. Dont bother calling this GNC store asking questions because they will LIE just to get you in and get a sale. This store needs new employees the opposite of Joe. Its about customer service not about just showing up to work. And there corporate needs a new manager too. The lady was no help and was questioning me why i drove so far to this store. Obviously i drove here because Joe LIED and said they had what i wanted. read more

Not helpful at all like the people working at Nutrishop, but I suppose if you do your own research and get some reviews from other gym-junkies about what products you intend to buy, you can come here. Additionally, know what you're selling or if you don't know, you can always say "I'm not sure, let me find out for you, let me get back to you" or plain and simple you don't know. Don't start throwing out random "facts" if you aren't giving out correct information to your client, it's still a sales business. Keep in mind, not all of your customers are idiots and some of them are well educated in science fields. read more

Not a regular at GNC however I'm not a regular elsewhere either. I was in the area and needed something I usually buy at whole foods. I looked inside GNC and they had the product at a better price. The store was well kept and well stocked and management was there (I say this because of a review prior said management is never there). Both people were very kind and provided good service. Back in the day I bought all my supplements at GNC by the buckets but these days I'm just in maintenance mode. If I ever had the need to increase my conditioning or my tapered physique, I would become a gold member once again. I would live on protein powder and water back then, but now I live on vegitable drinks while getting my protien now from korean BBQ! read more

This GNC is located inside The Westfield West Covina Mall, I was shopping around the mall when I remembered I needed to re stock on my vitamins. I decided to walk into this GNC store & when I walked in there where 3 people working & just standing @ the cash register. As I walk in the 3 employees looked @ me & none of them greeted me, there was a tall Hispanic girl, slim w long black hair , a Hispanic husky guy who wears glasses with black frames & there was a very slim light skinned male Hispanic. Out of these 3 people no one cared to acknowledge me or help me, they proceeded to continue their conversation & laughs like I wasn't there or didn't matter. I continued to look for what i was looking for, payed for my item & decided that I would never come here again! I have been to many GNCs & my experiences have been very pleasant, friendly & helpful but this particular GNC @ The Westfield West Covina Mall left a bad taste in my mouth, customer service was HORRIBLE, UNPROFESSIONAL, DEFINATELY VERY UNFRIENDLY & NON HELPFUL. This GNC is one of favorite stores to shop at. I drive a few miles out of my way simply because my shopping experience is always pleasant. The staff is so polite and you can always tell how much they enjoy doing what they are doing. The manager is so knowledgeable and always offers great advice and recommendations. I've been here b4 and the experience wasn't so bad. Being that I have a gold card I figured that I might as well go there. Guy helped me out right away but as soon as I told him that I didn't want the GNc / amp brand his attitude changed. They always push the GNc brand but it gives no results.
