Seems to me this location is a bit more spacious compared with their Walnut Street store, although when I stopped by late in the afternoon, I had apparently missed the crowd. They have the freshest nuts, grains, bulk spices, dried fruits, trail mixes, candies and popcorns at a terrific price. Most things sold by the 1/2 pound and pound. Staff is very friendly and even remembers what I like to buy sometimes! A giant bag of freshly popped popcorn is $3. A large bag of nutritional yeast is only a few dollars. I've walked by this store several times before and thought they only sold toasted nuts. Not so. This is the perfect place to get baking ingredients and other bulk treats for you pantry. I was getting sundae toppings for a large group and they had all kinds of nuts, candies, chocolates, and of course jimmies. I even got some dark chocolate covered/cocoa dusted almonds another reviewer mentioned. These are the best chocolate covered almonds I've ever had; real chocolate and real cocoa, not the shiny chocolate flavored coating you would normally find. Everything is bulk and comes in 1lb bags off he shelf. You can however ask the staff to rebag it and buy in quantities of 1/2 lb for most goods. I came in 15 min 'til closing on a Saturday and the staff was very helpful and didn't try to shoo me out the door. I am pleased. The only other kind of bulk store I know in CC is the Heat Nut in reading terminal. This is similar type of store, smaller selection but better prices. read more

Darn you, Nuts to You, for hiding delicious and cheap treats from me by disguising yourself as only a nut store! I just recently went in here for the first time with some friends and was completely blown away. Every corner I turned, I'd grab a friend and be like "DO YOU SEE WHAT THEY HAVE?!" ... I'm sure it was pretty irritating. Yes, they sell nuts, and plenty of them. BUT, they have a ridiculous selection of candy that will make you feel like you're in the candy store of your childhood dreams. Oh, but that's not all. Have a hankering for some chocolate covered pretzels, maybe some popcorn? They've managed to fit these options into the store as well. If you're pretending to be healthy, there is a whole selection of trail mix and dried fruit. But what truly blew my mind was their vast selection of grains and rice and the ridiculously low prices they are being sold at! Plus, super random, but they sell tahini here for crazy cheap. I stop in here at least twice a month for work supplies. They have a large amount of inventory and their prices are very reasonable for what they are offering. Their freshly popped pop corn and roasted peanuts are always a hit around the office. They have at least 3 varieties of roasted peanuts, regular, dark and double dark. The other thing that I'm a sucker for are the chocolate covered pretzels. I usually pick up at least one bag for myself and munch on them while in the throws of engineering. I've been told that I eat so many almonds I'm going to turn into an almond, and to that I say I'm not an almond yet grandmom so why don't you get off my Fing back. So I've been going to NTY for about four years to get mine because they are so much fresher than grocery stores, the price is better, and they have interesting varieties. It wasn't until two years ago while playing intramural hockey I was having a post game beer with a teammate that he told me he was the owner of Nuts to You. He told me about how he is in there every morning roasting the nuts and that the company started with his grandfather and how much pride put into their stores. This guy is about my age and is the nicest guy you'll ever meet so the next time I went in I took a few minutes to look around instead of bee lining it to the almonds. There is a lot of cool ish there. They have bagged quinoa which I love because it gives you the power of the Incas. They have fresh stone ground oats, whole wheat flower, and yesterday I got chia seeds. I'm not sure what they are but I saw them in a super healthy drink at Grocery so I figure they must do something. I would recommend to anyone that if you are looking for anything along the lines of wholesale nuts, dried fruits, grains, and stuff like that to stop in here and give it a try. They are willing to divide any pound bags into halves if you'd like and everyone there is so super nice. A very dangerous place. The roasting peanut aroma competes with the freshly-popped corn smell to lure you in from the street. To hell with the good-for-you fresh veggies at the market next door, lets' just GET SOME NUTS AND CANDY!!! They have any kinda nut you want, and they probably have it dry-roasted and with/without salt as well. Snacky nut, fruit, and trail mixes. Dried fruit all by itself. Malted milk balls & Swedish fish. Sugar-free candy. Chocolate chips and carob chips. Wasabi peas. It's a muncher's delight. I am ashamed to say that I can never make it all the way back to my office without reaching into the big plastic bag, untwisting that twist-tie on one of the smaller bags, and surreptiously grabbing a few goodies en route. If you pass me on the street, just pretend you didn't see me do it. My husband likes me to stop here before we head off to a Phillie's game to get those freshly-roasted peanuts. In addition to the candy I get to bring back to the office and "share" (ha!), I get pinenuts to make pesto, cashew pieces for cashew chicken, and pistacios for that wonderful cranberry pistachio biscotti recipe a friend gave me. I wish we had these shops in California. I walked in out of curiosity because of the funny name and was pleased to discover a huge assortment of snacks at great prices. Not only do they roast a majority of their nuts, but they also sell them by the half or full pound. And besides the wide assortment of nuts, they also have candies and other snacks. Prices are very good, especially if you buy more. I got a half pound of almonds, a half pound of wasabi peas, and a whole pound of gummy bears for about $7.50. Service was very helpful and friendly. They had tons of homemade snacks and home roasted almonds, peanuts, walnuts, you name it. Everything was sold according to weight and I thought the prices were very reasonable- it's much more expensive to go to the grocery store.
