This place is incredible! It's cute and welcoming. The staff and our server were just great! They have indoor and outdoor seating. We did outdoor because the weather was just so nice! They have a great selection of wines -- both white and red. And the 36 proof ones are STRONG! I'm a red wine gal but did try the raspberry slush which was sooo good and refreshing! We bought the slush mix to make it back home. Also tried the peach and strawberry wines which wow so good. They both literally smell like the fruit!! The Southern Blackberry 36 was my drop down fav. Ended up going home with 6 bottles! I mean we are out of state and I have to ensure that I have plenty to keep me happy for at least a little while :) They are also doing free you pick of their grapes right now. We went out and picked a handful just for the experience. I tell ya I was too wasted to do anymore than a handful! That 36 hit me hard!! If in the area make the trip here! We ate outside on the patio on a beautiful fall day. They had heaters going and the host gave us cushy soft blankets. That was just the beginning! We chose five wines to sample which were brought out in a "tree". All were pretty good except the one with 36 proof brandy. It was too strong for me but my husband liked it. We had the corn dip appetizer with chips, and the BLT grilled cheese, tomato basil soup, quiche and mushroom sausage soup - all of which were delicious! The quiche was really different - it was in a flaky pastry which was amazing! We will definitely be back!! read more

Super cute place! The wine tree is a great option especially if you're new to wine or want to try something new. The black cherry was my favorite and I'm not a fan of the sweet wines. Our chicken piccata was just ok. The chicken was over cooked and not much sauce. We had to ask for some additional lemon butter sauce. Which helped. Service was good. Maybe a touch on the slow side. Our server was friendly enough. I would go back and try another entree. read more

Pleasant setting food was very good as was the wine. Service was excellent and we enjoyed the local entertainment.

First time visit. Last time visit. Stood at the hostess stand for a few minutes while servers and other employees just looked at us and walked around. It wasn't very busy. Plenty of open tables. Ordered, but never got anything other than a glass of water because each item my wife asked for, the server would come back two minutes later to tell us the kitchen was out of. That was enough for us to decide to try somewhere else. Quality of service and quality of product just aren't what they used to be. We have yet to find a restaurant in Lagrange that was worth eating at. read more

Excellent menu. The pimento cheese side was amazing! Fresh, homemade--and had a little kick to it! We Loved the waiter. Great service food presentation was on point had the best hamburger my friend had a chicken salad. I love the building! It wasn't too noisy, and the staff were very engaged. Beautiful restaurant! The locals better not let this one go! We were from out of town. Great place for events or company, lunches or dinners with a really nice private room. There are things I loved and some things I didn't. It's very cold if it's cold outside and you sit on the patio, the barrier won't keep you very warm. We asked for heat lamps the entire night, and they never turned ours on. Skip the oysters and both wraps at lunch. The charcuterie, short rib pasta and shrimp and grits was amazing, and the caprese was sooo good. I didn't love sitting outside, but I absolutely loved the bar area. It was cozy and felt kind of like a cool, trendy spot for our little growing town. The service is really good too, it's like everyone wants to help everyone out. I'm in the service industry and love seeing team work like that. They all seemed like they get along. Oh and the wine is obviously wonderful:) read more

We had a wonderful outdoor dining experience last week at Nutwood Winery. The atmosphere was wonderful and no detail was overlooked, all the way to the wooden menu covers. All four of us ordered different things and we all were pleased with the taste and portions. The pricing was as expected. It's not a chain and you are paying for great quality of food and the experience. You could pay $5 less at Longhorn, but it's not the same. We opted for the lobster and steak. The steak was... well, when I said rare the chef really believed me! It was perfect. The stuffed lobster was divine. App, salad and dessert left nothing to be desired. Now, let's talk about the wine selection. The Patricia's Pinot Noir was lighter than most red wines with soft notes of fresh berries. Great atmosphere! Our meals were delicious, I had NY strip cooked to perfection with mashed potatoes and asparagus, my wife had shrimp linguine and she loved it. Out friends both had pork roast and claimed it was delicious. The service was adequate, the maitre d' made up for any inadequacy of the server who wasn't bad just not as attentive as I would like. We had peanut butter cheesecake with a chocolate icing, we shared it and couldn't eat it all. The wine was good, the ladies shared a flight and my wife and I drank a Malbec with our meal. Something has changed. Me and wife eat here regularly as almost every Friday evening. My son had a bad service experience several months ago and vowed to not go back. I convinced him to meet us for dinner for a burger (they do have great burgers) so we had a party of 6 in total. We're seated right away but our server was MIA after we were seated. My biggest complaint is the food quality has gone down hill the last couple of times I've been. me and my son ordered Brussel spouts as a side and they were like fried leaves. Terrible rendition of Brussels. Service wasn't good seated in the restaurant but when we sit at the bar it's been good. Something's is different now and I'm not so sure we will be back. read more

We came here after visiting the tasting room cafe. We had great service at the tasting room. We were celebrating a birthday and my friend didn't get her wine tree for a very long time. We could see it sitting at the bar and several servers walked past it. All our food including the appetizers were very salty. The check also took long time to get. We paid a lot of money and were disappointed. The location and ambiance were nice, but wish the food wasn't over powered with salt and we had better service. read more

This is a new place. Nice atmosphere. Granite is January and they did have plastic to cut out the wind and cold. But still could have some more heat. That being said the food was very good. If you like different kinds of dishes. If you like wine they do have a lot of different kinds. My favorite is southern blackberry aged barrel. (Something like that). All in all it was a nice time with my family. But......I'm not sure I would go back. The price of the food we had was WAY TOO EXPENSIVE. Just for me and my husband we had the bottle of wine an appetizer and both of us had a dish. $182.00. Service was ok. But could have been a little better.
