My mother had been trying…read morefor 60 days from US Bank's corporate line and their Eastlake Branch in Chula Vista to retrieve my deceased father's funds. Both of them failed miserably. When we came here and explained what happened Jose listened and acted immediately. We presented a letter and the documents needed. A few days later my mother received a loss of declaration form from this branch. It appears my mother will finally receive what is rightfully hers. Now, they have been consistently great at customer on my visits. The security guard is friendly and opens the door for customers if he is outside, and this is nice. The line was super short when I arrived at approximately 2 or 3p on a Monday afternoon. I appreciated that the customers being taken care of at the teller windows were all smiling and happy when they walked away from being helped. The teller that I had was Audrianna. She was very customer service oriented and her appearance was very professional. I compliment her on her beautiful nails. She took care of my transactions with ease and also with a smile. I appreciate her professionalism and great customer service. Employees like Audrianna are exactly what businesses need representing them with customers. Thanks!!

But after what happened yesterday I am closing my account and I would NEVER recommend them again. Long story short my mother has early stages of dementia. I had to move her closer to me as a relative's taking financial advantage of her. I was able to secure a financial POA for her as well as being on her account. The person taking advantage of her drove 2 hrs from where they live to pick my mom up and take her to the bank. Sat her down with a rep and had a very large transfer take place to their account. I came to the bank just in time to find this happening. I asked the rep not to let this transaction happen and told her I had a POA at home (I had been running errands and didn't have it on me) and that my mom was on dementia medication. The person stealing from my mom began to argue so they kicked BOTH of us out of the business. My mother cannot have me taken off the account without my signature so the rep, and supervisor decided to GO AROUND that safeguard and decided he'd open her up a new account without me on it. He allowed my sick mother to open a new account and let the transfer take place!!!! I went in today with my POA and shoved it into the branch manager's face and told him I hope he slept well last night as I hadn't because he's screwed my moms financial future and ability to stay in her assisted living facility. He asked if I could show him the info....you know the one I was CRYING about the day before begging to let me show them. I told him the damage had already been done!! What a POS this man is!! Should never be in charge of people finances. I WISH NOTHING BUT THE WORST FOR THESE PEOPLE AND CAN ONLY PRAY THAT SOMEONE VICTIMIZES THEIR LOVED ONE AS THEY DID MINE!!! I'm sad I am being forced to give them one star So they want to respond and say they did what was legal. They asked patient on dementia medication what she wanted to happen to her account. That same person went thru $150,000 THIS MONTH ALONE!! Does that sound like someone who is making smart decisions? She is retired, on a fixed income and lives in a facility that costs $6000/month. They said that they weren't satisfied she had any health issues and told us they weren't drs. Yet in saying that they literally made a health determination about my mother that was the opposite of what her dr prescriptions were. Don't let their response fool you. They weren't about doing what was right. RUN RUN RUN from this banking institution!!!
