"Mimosas, Music, and Amazing Service" 08-29-2025 Although my 50th birthday was on 08/19, I celebrated a little later because I was tied up finishing my summer school college courses. Finals and midterms had me locked down and drained, but I made it through. As a birthday gift, my daughter treated me to a full set and pedicure here. It had been well over a year since I last had my nails and feet done; so, you can just imagine the condition of my hands, but especially my feet (lol, don't ask!). When I told the owner, Jesse, that I was celebrating my 50th, she immediately lit up and wished me a happy birthday. The next thing I know, I hear the pop of a champagne bottle, and Jesse is shouting "Happy Birthday!" to put the spotlight on me. She brought me a mimosa, strong, tasty, and just what I needed. Once I finished it, she happily refilled my glass. She even complimented me, telling me how young I look for 50, which made me grin from ear to ear. One thing about this Leo is that I love compliments (lol). Between the mimosas and the relaxing foot massage from Tony, I started drifting off to sleep. Tony handled my pedicure like a true pro, no hesitation, even with a little dry skin (okay, a LOT of dry skin in my case). Meanwhile, Tina came over to work on my nails. She was so friendly and funny, keeping me laughing the whole time, at least whenever I could keep my eyes open. Then, out of nowhere, the music stopped and the Happy Birthday song came on. Jesse came out with a huge chocolate cupcake topped with a lit candle while everyone, customers and staff alike, sang to me. She had me blow out the candle and make a wish. What a thoughtful and warm gesture. She truly touched my heart and sealed the deal for me; this is officially my new nail spot. I was beyond satisfied with the work Tony and Tina did on my feet and nails, and I made sure to tip them both. Overall, this place is unlike any other nail salon I've visited. Customer service is clearly Jesse's top priority. She walks the floor often, checking on everyone, making sure drinks are topped off, and ensuring that her customers feel taken care of. Her positive, refreshing energy sets the tone, and I especially loved the 80s music playing in the background; it added to the fun and relaxing vibe. I at first was a little worried bc of the cleanliness, the chairs had dust and several need replaced... I almost left but am glad I didn't. I got their basic pedicure which to my delight included a ten minute foot massage! I also got a dip manicure. Abby did my hands and I was extremely happy with how they turned out- and I'm VERY picky. After a hiatus due to Covid and a move, I tried this nail salon over six months or so, with my acrylic nails done by Kevin the last three times. I had hoped to find someone to match Ana, the nail tech who had done my nails for four years in Conroe. I did not. Here are my takeaways from this experience: Pricing could and did vary. Overcharging happened. I had it corrected once and could have two other times. Unsolicited advice: compare the menu price to the one on your bill. Not knowing who to see, I tried the luck of the draw. Not being truly happy, I tried the drop-in method for four months. On one drop-in, I had Kevin. Kevin is their "great guy". He may be exactly that, but my nails were cracked and split by his attention. The three months he did my acrylics were the the most challenging. Venus is not cheap. My experience was nothing to rave about and ended with concern. I would have loved to have been happy with it. Honestly, I cannot recommend it. read more

We arrive and are instantly greeted by the receptionist. We took a quick look at the menu, noticed the prices are a bit on the more expensive side but we checked it out anyway. We hardly waited for our services. During the very few minutes we spent waiting, the receptionist offered us complimentary drinks. If I remember correctly she said, 'Would you like some wine? Mimosa? Margarita? Shot of Patron?' LOL. I've never gotten lit at a nail salon but if you know me personally then you know I am down AF! I ordered a margarita. I think K ordered a margarita too. I chugged my margarita down because the person doing my facial was waiting on me. Mary assisted me throughout my facial, I had the 60 Minute Facial ($60) and also an eyebrow wax ($8). K was receiving a pedicure ($50). Mary was awesome though facials generally hurt during the extraction process. She was gentle. Mary made my eyebrows look damn good! After having an awful experience getting my eyebrows waxed at 5 Star Nails on Barker Cypress, she fixed them up as best as possible and I was pleased with the result. While all these services were being performed, another margarita was brought my way. Didn't even have to ask, they just read my mind. Yaas!! At the end of my facial, I walk out of the room and both K and I finished around the same time. Sweet! We were both left in 'awe' after our services and slightly lit. Yes gawd!! Walked in on mid Saturday afternoon with no wait, the cucumber spa was very relaxing and reasonably priced.

Le did my pedicure and did a horrible job. I told her twice and she smiled and said, "It's fine." Due to the lighting in the place, I couldn't see exactly how bad they were until I woke up the next morning while still in bed I looked down in horror. A week old pedicure looks better than this. I have pictures. I did try to tell her about what I could see then. Just throw the entire pedicure away! It's trash! Wasted money! Can't wait to ask my mother how her pedicure is. She had one too. So it came to that time and my feet were in wax bags and she wAs massaging my calves(I'm a larger girl) my calves being massaged is of no benefit to me, I said is this 15 minute massage and she pointed at the timed "yes 15 minutes" I said nevermind on the massage, I thought it was a foot massage, not a calf massage. I had my nails repainted to match my toes Bc they didn't have the OPI shellac color I had on my nails. I love the new color, and shape was improved but the paint job is subpar very bumpy, not smooth appearing and parts of my nail missing paint. I went for a shellac mani and pedi and I paid about a little bit above $100 , and a couple of days in my nails started lifting and they didn't last long at all. The ladies doing my nails weren't talking to me at all, they just kept conversing between themselves; they didn't even ask me what shape I wanted my nails or if I even wanted to trim them (which I didn't, I've been working on growing out my natural nail) and they just went ahead and trimmed my nails short.
