I came in to remove my acrylics and my natural nails underneath were long and healthy. Instead of carefully removing the acrylic, the tech aggressively filed down my real nails even after I told her multiple times it wasn't the plastic tip, but my natural nail. To make matters worse, she laughed about it with her coworker while continuing to file away months of nail growth. Completely unprofessional and disrespectful. Now normally when I come here, I see Maria. She does my pedicure and she does a great job. I'm not sure if she wasn't feeling well today or what. But I frequent this spot as I work at the hospital a few blocks away. This review is solely based on her customer service today!! Sadly today has ended my tenure here. In the middle of getting my toes done, I get gel BTW and towards the last coat, she put the light sealer on my foot and she touches the top of my big toe. I didn't think anything of it, it happens all the time. When she realized it she caught an attitude and immediately started rough handling my foot! She is visibly annoyed and maintained the rough handling until she not only fixed the one nail, finished my complete pedicure. How I know she has an issue as she didn't try to upsell me on my eyebrows. Which she isn't going to miss an opportunity to raise her service total to get a higher tip. Unfortunately, this experience with Maria did affect the tip I left for Tiffany who did a great job as I didn't have any cash on me today and tipped with my card. I come here for convenience! Looks are deceiving. The first and last time I will ever get my nails done here. The lady who put tips on my nails was rude and kept telling me to relax my hands. Well I couldn't relax because it was so painful. I have been getting my nails done for 20 years and never hand such an uncomfortable manicure like this. My finger were sore for 2 days. My pedicure lady was nice and did a good job. However the instrument or something was not cleaned appropriately. Two days after my pedicure my right big toe started throbbing. It turned red, painful, and swollen. I now have a cuticle infection with pus coming out of my toe! I will not post a picture of the pus but the picture is after I lancet the site. I am trying to keep the infection under control so I don't have to see a doctor for antibiotics for a soft tissue infection! I have NEVER had this happen after a pedicure. read more

I had been here before for pedicures and they were great so I thought I would come here to get my nails done for my wedding. BIG MISTAKE! I asked for a simple French done in acrylic, she said she could do an ombré better so I reluctantly agreed. My daughter got her nails done in white acrylic and they looked pretty good, mine however did not. Some were crooked, some scooped up away from my finger. They were so bad I was in tears asking them to fix them. Another tech did "fix" them to the point that they were different lengths and only some were left square, then I was still charged full price!!!!! Service used to be great but has gone downhill. I went in for a shellac polish change. She rushed through the entire process. Most of my nails the entire sides and corners aren't even painted. I went to simply get my acrylic taken off. When I left (and got to the other side of town), I kept looking at my nails and something just seemed off. I decided to put my nails in remover and there it was...my nails were still full of acrylic! The nail tech filed and buffed the acrylic down to where it looked like it was gone. When I made it back to Cypress, I went to the salon to get a refund and the nail tech that serviced me earlier began to yell at me, in front of everyone and get extremely aggressive. I've been here twice, once by myself and the other with my little girl. I got powder dip nails ($40) and a gel ($15) regular spa pedicure ($27)with a French manicure($5) both times my nails lasted beautifully for weeks. My little girl got her finger nails painted and they lasted longer than most other places. They have several drinks to choose from, which is always nice. The place is large and really beautifully decorated. The only negative thing is they should get the color off the sides of your fingers before letting you leave with dip color all over your hands. read more

Updating since Covid - I am really impressed with this salon. They've installed plexiglass barriers with hand cutouts at their mani stations. They tagged the floors with 6 ft distance markers. I arrived about 5 minutes after they opened and I watched as they separated every customer, putting people at maximum distances away from each other. I went in there with a friend Monday afternoon and was really impressed with the inside. The lady asked us what we wanted and we debated if we should both do pedicures. I expressed I wanted a full acrylic set and decided yes we are both getting a pedicure. The lady took me away to get seated down but wouldn't let me pick a color for my toes. She honestly seemed like she was rushing and wanted to be done. I couldn't even pick a color for my pedicure so I had a yell for my friend to pick for me. As soon as I was sitting down the lady kept saying to me "you want an ombre? You want the ombra? yes?" Then a second lady came and gave me a menu for the pedicure and was asking me what I wanted. I had two different ladies asking me what I wanted and I got overwhelmed. I didn't say anything but I physically expressed it and once I did they backed off some. When I finally had a chance to look over the menu I wanted to pick the $35 and the lady didn't agree and tried to get me to pick the $50. My friend was paying for my pedicure so I felt bad and the lady wouldn't let me have the $35 option. So I gave the menu to her and told her to ask my friend. I had these two ladies working on my hands and feet at the same time. It was hard to relax. I was not told that they charge $5 extra to have the cuticles cut till after the fact. If I knew that I would have told them not to worry about it and probably not only have saved myself $5 bucks but also from being cut. I have pictures. 3/10 of my fingers got cut. The lady that was doing my nails also did the drill and dug into my already cut into cuticles. I knew from the looks they did not clean or sterilize their tools. I wanted to pull my hand away but I knew that would probably cause more problems. When the lady was transitioning to me next hand, I looked and mentioned that I got cut. She either didn't hear me or pretended not to and continued doing her thing. She wrote her ticket and walked away. The lady that was doing my feet finished and wrote for that ticket. Me and my friend were paying cash and the lady in front was interesting. I tried to be nice and give tips and the lady was confused and something about having two people work on me. Again if I knew how it was going to be like that, I would have made sure to do things differently. Today I noticed my polish on my big toe was already chipping away. (Got them done Monday - started chipping off Wednesday). I really believe that this place depends on who you have working on you and on what. But sad to say I won't be coming back to find out. read more

I wish I could say this was a positive experience. Staff was friendly and the salon was clean but my nails are a mess. I came here due to it being so close to my house.. that was a mistake. The nails on my thumbs are extremely uneven and one is shorter & thinner than the other. Betty didn't even paint my whole entire nail. It looks the way it does after a week.. and I got them done just this afternoon. I asked for coffin shape and I don't even know what they did with my pinkie nails.. it doesn't even look like any shape at all. And normally when you go to a nail salon it's a set price, including filing and shaping, at least in my experience. They charged me an extra $5 just to shape my nails and it doesn't even look good! Really disappointed with this nail salon. Came in yesterday at 5:00pm for a full set and pedicure. I asked if they had time when I walked in to do that, the lady said yes and to give them 20 minutes but she would call me when to come inside. Once I was called in it was 5:27pm and I sat down to get nails done. The lady who did my pedicure was super sweet (which is why I'm giving 2 stars) but the lady who did my acrylics was not nice at all and came over in a bad mood. She kept jerking my hand and telling me to relax. I told her I like my nails thin and shaped like tapered square (I will attach pics) she shaped all of them different and made them super thick. She then started speaking in another language but said in English "Americans" and something about "closing" as she was constantly jerking my hand around. I figured she was talking about us coming before close, I told her I was sorry I didn't realize they closed at 7pm which it says on Apple maps "Open Everyday 9am-7pm" she interrupted my apology and said "no we close at 6pm" I told her "I didn't know that because it says 7pm on maps and that they should change that to reflect the actual time they close" she then said "we close at 6pm on Sundays" with a major attitude and jerked my hand toward her again. Towards the end she told me my cuticles are long and asked if I wanted them cut (nothing else) I said yes if she thinks they need to be. She cut me on 4 of my ten nails to where I bled and then charged me $5 dollars when she could have asked if I'd like my cuticles cut for $5 dollars. At the end of the day I felt mistreated for paying over $295.00 (I brought someone else with me who had a good experience) with tip included and my nails don't look anywhere near good for my birthday. I did not like this place. I asked for the classic and she wanted to up scale me, I told her just the classic. The amount on the paper she gave me said $27, it was actually $30, but it felt like a $15 pedicure! She barely went over my cuticles and scrubbed by heels, which is the main reason I decided to get a pedicure. I don't usually give bad reviews. I believe sometimes you just get a bad egg, but I felt as if it was because I went with the classic. I do not like upscale nail salons for this reason. Thuy broke down all the cost so that I would not have any surprises at the check out. I received a very nice foot massage from Brian and Thuy made sure my nails were beautiful. First off, a girlfriend and I went in, we sat down, and my water was SCOLDING hot, I made a comment to my tech "Mary" and she ignored my comment. She handed me the pedicure menu and when I picked the $35 one she told me "no get the one above, it's better and only $10 more." (I am not kidding with this.) So I said okay fine, and she went on. After she DUG a cuticle clipper into the front of my little toe, I noticed my big toe was not cut down hardly at all, when I asked her to cut it down she said to me "well you flinched so I can't cut it, I'll file it down." Uhm what? 1. I didn't flinch, 2. Even if I had flinched, try it again. How is a flinch a punishment for not getting proper service. Lastly, the massage I was persuaded into paying more for was nothing but a $10 POORLY DONE leg rub, the entire time she had a look on her face like she hated being there. Once she was done I looked at my toes and realized that it looked like I did them myself at home, why would I pay $45 for them to look like trash? I was already SO mad, I paid my bill and left.
