Only weeks before my…read morewedding I received a brief email from the stylist I originally hired to do hair and makeup at my wedding stating that she had quit the profession and would not be able to provide the services I had contracted and paid a deposit for. Thankfully my mother found and contracted Salon H Davis to know. They responded promptly and were able to fit me in for a hair trial without a few days. They graciously rearranged their schedules to accommodate mine and on meeting Liz, the stylist who did my hair, she immediately put me at ease. She spent quite a bit of time going through the ideas that I have pulled up and asked me what it was I like about each one so she could really pinned down the look I was going for. And she nailed it! She took several photos at the end of the trial and we talked through how we would fine tune it on the day of the wedding! And on the day of, she and her associate, Hailey, arrived promptly at the venue with everything they needed for the day. They were well prepared, extremely professional, worked in a timely fashion, and ensured that my bridesmaids were happy with their hair results! Most importantly, they allowed me to relax, and actually enjoy my big day (instead of stressing about it) and could spend time hanging out with my best girls as we chatted and caught up on life! Of note, they were affordable, willing to travel up to a certain distance and they were also able to set me up with a makeup artist who was also exceptional, Jaime Shippen!

She has not been to your place in quite some time because EVERYTHING has to be done online. Well for your information she can barely use her phone to talk on it let alone get ONLINE to even get help. That being said, she received a message at 12:01 this morning letting her know that it was time for her to come in and see Ashley. What in the hell are you doing sending out messages at that time of the night? And she, many times, has made it very clear that she wants off of any and all of your soliciation or so-called communications. In fact, i just tried to call Ammon location got your cute little greeting that told me to press 0 in order to talk to someone. I was disconnected TWICE without any communication at all!!!!!!!!! Boy, what a way to lose current, old and new clients. Word of mouth is such a horrible thing!!!!! Have a wonderful day!

This is one of those businesses that stays open because of location - there are very few options…read morenearby. We have had several bad haircuts in the past. Only one barber - Sheri - has consistently done a good job on our kids' haircuts. This is one of those places where hair stylists go to train. There's varying degree of skill, and really it is a coin toss. One issue we had recently was we scheduled an appointment online. The app said we had 108 minutes until our appointment. At 3:53pm we got a text saying our turn would be ready in 15 minutes. We immediately drove down to the place to find a full salon with doors locked. The lady cracked the door open and said they were closed, and that our appointments had been canceled. We said we had an appointment, and that we had been notified our appointment was now. I showed her the message (see photo). We had planned our day around the kids getting their haircuts, but apparently their app scheduling system does not let you know when they close, and even though you schedule your appointment 100 minutes before they close... it doesn't matter. I normally tip 10-15$ over their $13 cut. I had two kids scheduled. You can tell that the employees don't really care about their customers. It's more of a place that you clock in and try to clock out as soon as possible. We won't be back. I'd rather drive further for better service So Very disappointed.

This has happened to me more than once at this Ulta. I don't know what about me makes these people think I'm there to do something like shoplift but they treat me like I'm wearing an orange jumpsuit in there. I've literally never been a shoplifter even when I was a teen and my friends were doing it. They're barking up the wrong tree. This is just encouraging me to shop online, try shades at home, and return the ones that don't work for me. The bad atmosphere they're creating in store is costing them money in returns and reducing foot traffic.

Ranie did my hair, which was in dire need of help. I had platinum on some parts, which is very fragile, and a mess of repeatedly badly dyed roots and natural regrowth. I was really expecting the color correction to be a nightmare. Ranie helped me achieve a more put together look. She pulled a more natural color in some parts to blend my roots. She very carefully added bleach to some of my roots so it wasn't a straight root line like before. She was careful to not re-bleach the already bleached areas, which is something my last hair colorist didn't do. She did a great job with the tone too. Ranie is so sweet and she is nice to talk to while you get your services done. She's always going to classes and learning new techniques. Her prices are very affordable - I think she should charge more honestly!! Sara did my pedicure a couple days later, since I made an appointment with her while my hair was being done. My feet needed some love with the dry Idaho air, and she fixed me right up. She doesn't use one of the huge pedicure chairs with the foot sink, so it's a lot more sanitary. She has disposable inserts for her foot spa, and you still get the nice warm bubbly water but without a million other people's germs. The pedicure was nice and relaxing, and she is very gentle with cuticle removal etc (I've had some people dig at me til I want to cry). Sara is also very sweet and friendly, so it's a very good experience. I don't live in town, but I will go back when I'm visiting for sure!
