I came here for a conditioning treatment and a haircut. Leah did an amazing job, and I'm so happy with the face framing and soft layers that she gave me. She made me feel very comfortable as a salon-newbie and listened to all of my hair goals to give me the perfect style for my needs and wants. The salon was clean, and the atmosphere was nice, too. Jenna does my hair and she does an excellent job. All the ladies there are very professional. The place is very clean and upbeat a particularly like the music in the conversation and not only consider these people hairdressers but also very good acquaintances and friends. I think everybody should at least go here once, and try it out. Affordable for men and women. read more

Esme saw me same day, without an appointment, and gave me a quick, but thorough trim. She is an amazing stylist! Super warm and friendly and asked me if I had curly hair (which I do). This is crucial for curly girls. It old her a dry cut was fine and she did a great job. Highly recommend. read more

Crystal is a terrific stylist. She knows her craft and listens to my needs. I have super fine and thinning hair, too delicate to survive a perm. Crystal told me she would not want to perm my hair, even though she could have made money doing so. In addition to regular cuts, I get high lights and low lights 3 times a year with her. They add body, and they are as beautiful as if nature herself gilded my hair. She gets a 5 star plus rating! read more

I want to share my experience. I have never had my hair professionally done before, so I didn't…read morereally know what to expect. I simply wanted to go darker by adding lowlights to my natural copper hair. I showed a reference photo and was told that to achieve the look, I would need highlights first and then an all-over color. I also asked for layers and curtain bangs without losing too much length (my hair was last measured at 30 inches). I am 17 and was getting my hair done for my birthday. I made it very clear that I wanted to keep everything as natural as possible--no heavy or extreme colors, and nothing so dark that it would look unnatural as it grew out. At first, I liked the color when it was wet. Once it was dried and styled, the lighting in her studio made it look close to what I had imagined, so I initially believed it was done correctly. However, I also wanted a butterfly cut with layers while keeping my length. Joy responded with, "That's not happening. I don't care what you want." After drying, my mother and I had to practically fight just to get her to blend my curtain bangs and make them wispy (I have very thick hair). When my mom tried to stand up for me, Joy became combative and rude. Every time I mentioned layers, she would say things like, "No, you don't want layers. I promise layers won't look good. I'm not doing layers." I felt pressured to trust her because she said she's been doing hair since 1993, and her reviews initially seemed good. After looking again, none of the reviews are recent (all over three years old), and the most recent one is extremely negative. I paid $120 for what I thought I loved--aside from not getting layers--but the moment I left, I felt overwhelming dread. In the car, I noticed my ends were the exact same color as my original hair, even though she supposedly did an all-over copper brown. My roots are a very dark, unnatural red under my top layer of hair, almost peekaboo-style, which is absolutely not what I wanted. The colors do not blend, and I can't even see the highlights she claimed to put in. After researching, it's clear the color was not left on long enough. The color on the left side of my roots was left much longer than the right side, and my ends--like I mentioned--are completely unchanged. She applied color, aggressively "massaged" it in, washed her hands and bowl, and then rinsed and shampooed my hair. The color was on my ends for maybe five minutes. The entire appointment lasted from 5:45 PM to 8:24 PM and felt rushed and extremely unprofessional. As someone who has never done anything to their hair besides simple trims, I didn't know what was normal or what to question. I felt forced into what she wanted instead of what I asked for. She was rude to my mother when she tried to advocate for me, and now my hair is uneven, poorly colored, and badly blended--especially the bangs. She was still paid $120 for a service I am deeply unhappy with, and this experience has caused me severe emotional distress. I've been crying for hours. I will never be going back to Joy, and I do not recommend her services. Also after my mother and I did some more research, all her hair images are from Pinterest. We reversed imaged searched her pictures they are ALL from Pinterest. I also want to note that her house smelled of marijuana.

I took an hour of PTO to make it all work. I even called ahead and told them that I scheduled a pedicure and facial. I was reassured about the schedule and how long each service took. I was nervous that something would happen and that I wouldn't be able to get everyone where they needed to be. I needed 30 min between appts and they found a way to make it work. They told me they stick to their schedule and I believed them due to the last appointment. I still had a 10 min buffer just in case. I was really surprised when I arrived to my appointment. I got there a few minutes early. When my appt was supposed to start the nail tech came out and over explained that the appt before me decided they wanted to upgrade their service so she was running behind. Then she went up to the counter and talked to them about all the upgrades. I asked on her way back how long it would be delayed. She said another 5 min. She came back out saying that the lady wanted to add on nail art and it would be longer. I guess I am supposed to wait for that too. Then she went up and asked if I was the last appt of the day and I wasn't. She complained that she needed a break. She probably would've been done on time if she worked and didn't keep coming out to talk. I told the lady at the front desk that I may need to reschedule that I told them I was running a tight schedule. I went outside to see if I could find my kid a ride to make it work. When I came back in I didn't even get a word out and the receptionist said they would just reschedule my appt at no charge after I just did all that to arrange a different ride for my son. Didn't even ask if that's what I wanted but at that point it was probably for the best because I don't think the lady was even close to being finished. They didn't seem to really care about my appointment or what I had going on. Crazy that I am 10 min late and my service gets cut short and they are running atleast 20 min behind because someone wants to add on nail art and I don't even get an apology! If you are going to enforce the rules it should be for everyone including your staff. I had 2 services booked. I had to juggle things to make it all work and then re juggle them all when I got there. My time and appointments matter just as much as the next person. I wasted a whole evening and used my PTO and then was told the next appointment was over a week out. I wish I didn't have to go back but I have a gift certificate to use :(

Even though this all seemed kinda extreme and uncompassionate as to what I would have done while I was in the industry. But whatever. We all have to do our own thing.. When I contacted her at 12:16 about being charged and wanting to come in on our scheduled appointment at 1:00 since I paid for it already, but she wasn't in the salon. She then cancelled our future appointment, saying we were not a good fit... That part is correct. I was treated with very little compassion and respect. I don't need myI nail tech to kiss my ass but would appreciate them to be understanding, respectful and kind. To explain my side further, I was in a car accident a while back and also diagnosed with an autoimmune disease making my situation even more challenging to overcome. I've been in a lot pain for nearly 5 months straight and thus I dont sleep well. My body is not predictable day to day, leaving me unsure of how I'm going to get places and waste precious energy. Getting my nails done isn't top of my list but I like to feel pretty when I can. I thought I was being considerate in trying to communicate the day before minus 12 mintues that it wasn't a good idea for me to try to come in. I had a physical therapist appointment the morning of my scheduled appointment with her, and hadn't slept well the few days before. Those PT visits are exhausting to me! And painful. Now that I understand her policy, I should have just waited until the day of the appointment to see how I felt and not shown up at all, or gone in a little late, if I was even up for it. Either way, I would have gotten the same fees. Secondly, I wasn't even planning on mentioning the quality of work but will to further explain my side. My nails were left at uneven lengths, each finger was different. They were jagged on a few. And they chipped the next day. But again, I had been willing to give her another chance... Be careful with her and her strict policies. I will say she was pleasant to be around while she was doing my nails the previous time, which was why I had rebooked. But she was a bit harsh in text messages.. and again, not how I would have treated anyone I would have wanted to do business with or how I personally would have treated a client. One last thing to others, just consider things carefully before you give her or anyone your bank info to hold an appointment. Namaste Hannah.

I had recently gotten a full set of acrylics somewhere else, and they felt awful on my nails. Plus, the polish was starting to peel less than a week after getting them done. With Hannah's help, the awful acrylics were removed and my nails already feel so much better. I got a hard gel overlay to protect my nails and keep their natural length. I didn't know what color I wanted so I let Hannah choose, and she picked a stunning combination that I am absolutely in love with. Overall, I am extremely happy and my nails feel and look awesome! I would recommend Hannah to anyone who wants to get their nails done right!
