The driver (think his name was Mike) was professional and got right to work. He asked where I needed to go and loaded up my car pretty quick. Took about 20 minutes to get to the repair shop on Route 27. Mike was friendly enough, we chatted about the weather and how busy they'd been that week. He unloaded my car at the shop without any issues and made sure I had a ride coming before he left. Price was what they quoted on the phone so no surprises there. Overall it was as smooth as a tow can be. I'd use them again if I needed to.

I hired these movers because they were associated with Mayflower, and I read for the best moving experiences hire a big company, like Mayflower. I thought by paying a premium for a brand like Mayflower I would get a low stress experience... NOT. This place is an utter scam. The whole move was ACTUAL HELL. First the estimate was based on a Zoom call. I was moving out of a row home in Baltimore city. I showed the coordinator each room on video and we talked about what furniture would be taken. Ultimately the quoted me around $5,000 for the 1,500 mile trek, and I signed the bid. In the end the total move cost nearly $10,000 because they WOEFULLY underestimated my move, likely on purpose to win the bid. I'm fine paying for my weight, but don't lowball me. I would have sought other estimates if I was told $10k off the bat. On the actual moving day the movers showed up about 8 hour late. They were supposed to come early in the AM and didn't show up to nearly 5 pm. Once they arrived the labor had no idea that this was a whole house move. They were clearly trying to get off for the day, and called their manager to get the moved rescheduled. NO WAY. I needed to be out of the house by tomorrow and on my way to start my job on Monday. I had to FIGHT TOOTH AND NAIL just to get them to follow through with loading the truck. The coordinator was incredibly rude and really tried to force me to move another day. Then came loading. The movers wanted to stop short of loading all my stuff. I said NO WAY. I paid for the WHOLE HOUSE to get loaded. I again had to fight with the loaders and coordinator at VIP to get them to continue loading. They were claiming the load was over the estimate. THE ESTIMATE THEY PROVIDED AND UNDERSHOT. NOT MY FAULT. In the end they got most things loaded, but I had to leave things behind. We ended up fight over each and every box. ACTUAL HELL. Then the delivery. The stuff came INCREDIBLY late. I got $900 back because it took like 40+ days to show up to my new house. When it arrived it had clearly been loaded and unloaded many times and kept in hot storage in the summer. Actual plastic bins HAD MELTED. So many items were damaged. A leg off an expensive midcentury teak table splintered off. A drawer broken on a $2,000 dresser. My bed frame was missing parts and completely broken. SO MANY BOXES OF SHATTERED STUFF, which had been meticulously packed with plenty of bubble wrap. Clearly boxes had been thrown. What did I get for all my broken stuff? Less than $200. I never thought hiring white glove movers would be SO TERRIBLE. ABSOLUTELY DO NOT BOOK. Feels like an utter scam.

We are a successful, older, disabled couple and have moved on from cheap "glued sawdust" furniture to solid wood and antiques. We moved many of the most expensive items ourselves, however we could not move the larger items nor the less expensive items. Almost every one of our antiques was damaged. We paid for "full replacement" coverage with the understanding that we would receive full replacement cost for our items. The initial offer was pennies on the dollar with many claims denied even though photos of the items without damage were taken prior to moving and were provided. The reason the claims were either denied or provided reduced valuation was we didn't have receipts or their expert determined the damage was pre-existing. They sent someone out to inspect the damaged items, but apparently the person did not get a good description of our items even though they took and provided many photos. We still don't know if their "expert" was the person they sent out for the inspection, who had two whole years' experience fixing sofas, or if the expert was someone who looked at the photos taken by the sofa repair guy in some far away office. We disputed the valuation on many of the items. EVERY item we disputed was then demanded for salvage. Sounds a whole lot like a reprisal decision to me for demanding the company provide what was paid for. Due to several of our antiques needing rather extensive repairs and the exact items are not easily found we were forced to accept quarters on the dollar or face years in arbitration with our house a mess, because we were unable to move anything from where the company placed them. It has been almost 3 months since the claim for damage to our house was approved and I'm still waiting for our money. The damage to our household goods will cost in the neighborhood of $25k-$30k to fix or replace. Our settlement was just over $10k. I'll hire two drunks and rent a moving truck next time and probably be happier. United Van lines and Mayflower are the same company, just different names.

I skid in the rain and hit the guardrail, someone called cops, state police came due to state property, i said i would call AAA and they refused and said they couldn't wait for an hour and their towing service would come sooner. They towed, normal tow, nothing unusual or major, facility was 5 miles away. Called the next morning to pick up, and was blown!!! They quoted me $600 for the tow how in the world does anyone charges $600 for an overnight tow? When asked they said "accident" tows are different, how??? Charged me for 20 miles, cleanup charge $125, admin fee $35 and accidental tow charge $299" i called many tow companies to double check and also the state police and they all wondered why the charges were so much. Fraud written all over!! Spreading the word, when cops tow check the company they r using first.

It was someone new as we usually used local movers. We've moved multiple times within the many years we've been here in Maryland. This was a local move from Brewers Hill to Upper Fells, not far at all. I called to make sure they did local moves and they said yes. It seems as I called someone in California. They were very receptive initially. After I deposited the money, I didn't get any information until a few days before and I actually had to reach out to them first. I then got a call from someone that didn't really know the situation. Couldn't get a hold of the guy that initially started it all out. I was hoping for the best. All that aside, I was told the guys would call me 30 mins before. I got a call at 8 or so in the morning the day of. He did not have the addresses of any of the places. Found out he didn't have the right size truck. I was quoted an estimate and understood that it would probably be a bit over that, but not 500 dollars over. 1. Tried calling that day to get a hold of ANYONE...2. Guys started moving slower...understood but they only had 3 guys and I told the initial guy in california (in which he obviously didn't get a good understanding of how much we had) so the 2 bed house with a 10x10 storage unit and more boxes in the basement of the place we were renting...I told him I would even get pictures. ANYWAYS!!! Frustrated that it was taking way longer as the guys finally got to the house with, I thought, all of it...found out that it was not a big enough truck to make it all in one run. This pushed the amount much higher as they started to move slower. I realized that since this probably was not KERB...it was contracted out...the onus is on KERB for not getting a good understanding of what we had, not even calling me back the day of, and then trying to email and phone me after I had put up a bad review. Sorry, but you should have called me that day. You should have gotten a better estimate on what was being moved. If Yelp's not recommending software either deletes this or whatever it might be that they take it off again...I'll add it again. Not happy with Kerb or Yelp at this point. We've used other movers in the past for similar long distance moves and in terms with overall experiences, Kerb was the best! They were very particular about arriving on time for pick up. With that being said, they were 15 mins late. Lol. But i have to say their hard work made up for it. The movers was very thorough with the package and handling ensuring that no items received had a slight scratch. These guys are definitely well trained professional movers. Amazing moving skills that I would of never ever thought about. These guys work with nothing but boxes, crates, tape, plastic and bubble wrap. We were amazed. The good new is nothing came ruin or broken full service of packing and unpacking. It doesn't get better than that. My family was left highly satisfied with the personal attention and responsibility taken by the company during the move. Gotta give these guys a try if anyone one looking for a long distance move.

Was looking to get a full move out/in service and the prices where so high that I decided to move it all myself (would have never work). I rented a Uhaul truck and then they offer you to add moving help. I'm usually sceptical about the lowest price option and especially when you read reviews about the low priced services, you see how many of them either showed up hours late or never showed up, which was my biggest fear... Something told me that though they had the lowest price that you could never beat, they will also deliver a good service. And sure enough, it started by them confirming via text the same night I booked and following up the day after to schedule the move. Communication was great and they confirmed the day before as well. that already made me feel better! I've booked 2 man for 3 hours. The morning of the move, they showed up right on time, and not only that they were on time, instead of 2 people, 4 people showed up!!! No extra charge but double the manpower (don't know if that's a regular thing or not, but it was sure a pleasant surprise). They got to work right away, had a very good attitude and all in all made the move so much easier. I underestimated the amount of things that we had and the amount of things you can fit in a 10ft uhaul truck, so we ended up having to do 2.5 truck loads to the new place (10 min ride) so we finished the job in 3 hours and 25 minutes so I gladly paid the extra hour (if you go over the time you have to pay in 1 hour increments) and added a nice tip. Those guys made this move so much better and stress free, I could not have asked for better help. DON'T THINK TWICE!!! book them for your move!
