They are family owned and operated and have a great inventory. Their prices and reviews between Kelly Blue Book and Cargurus matched up with my research and expectations, and yet they were still willing to negotiate. The staff were welcoming, inviting, courteous and attentive; they were everything you'd expect from a family owned dealership. They met and exceeded my expectations for what was a dreaded interaction with a car dealership. But here's where the roadblock hit. They place an anti theft device on every vehicle. I was casually told it was to track their inventory between their lots in Coeur d Alene and Spokane. I was told not to worry about the cost ($399) because it was "folded" into the price of the car. But when I made it to the finance office, and agreed to a price, there were doc fees and taxes, which I understood, but there was also the $399 add on, which I did not request. I logically debated with the finance director, who only had two months under his belt in that position, so I think we were both trying to understand the situation. The finance director said the charge had to happen, and after 3.5 hours of sitting around, I was over it and signed the paperwork. When I got home and read thru the two stacks of stapled paperwork, I found one line that crushed my experience. "Purchasing the Ikon car technology is not a requirement for the purchase of the vehicle." Talk about insult to injury. Not to mention the lack of transparency from a family owned and operated company that I felt comfortable and secure with. Asking them for a refund was not an option. They shut me down. I still don't understand. Also, the sales person I met with was let go that day. And they still wouldn't own up to the miscommunication. I believe you will get a good car from them. They service them and invest money to prepare them. But just know, legally, you don't have to pay for what you don't ask for. And if they make you pay, walk away.

We discussed the Final Price on the truck, and I explained to him that I want to have PPI (Pre Purchase Inspection) done to the truck. He suggested calling a local auto car service. Jeff also told me to call Kayla on Monday (July 6, 2026) to get a Process Order. Since it was 4th of July weekend there was No bank open, but I purchased airline ticket to fly from SeaTac to Spokane, planning to book a hotel in Yakima, called my insurance company. Today (July 6, 2026) I went to my bank and got approval for my Loan. When I called Northwest spoke to Kayla, she told me she is selling the truck to some else. I am so disappointed and upset cause all the preparation I've done to get the truck is Gone. No truck! Jeff and I had verbal agreement on this truck, and apparently Jeff did not talk to Kayla according to her. Basically, Cameron, the Fleet Manager, was very helpful to me from the very beginning when I first contacted DAA regarding my car, to the very end. Through Cameron, he and the rest of DAA stood up to the plate and owned my car issues, which I do believe was caused from the tow company/repo company who took my car in the first place. But it was difficult to say which company did the damage to my car when it was in their possession. DAANW took and owned the responsibility of the problem of me not being able to take the key out of the ignition and the shifting of gears, which was difficult to move. Cameron made sure my car was back to the "original" state it was before the repossession and returned my car back to the original state it was when it was taken. Thank you Cameron, your upper management, your team of onsite mechanics, and including the individuals you had go to my home to assess/pick up and return my car. You all have helped me out so much when I needed someone to help me with my car. I would definitely recommend DAANW to any dealership/personal referral that would be looking for a used car.
