Inaccurate Claims About My Review: Brake Inspection: The owner accused me of "fraud" regarding an $80 inspection charge. I explicitly acknowledged that "While they didn't charge for the brake inspection itself, the overall experience left a bad taste in my mouth." I acknowledge the $0 charge on that specific line item. Caliper vs. Total Brake Cost: The owner claimed I said calipers were $900. I never said that. I stated the total brake repairs came out to over $900--which is accurate, as the front disc brakes ($842.24) and rear drum service ($132.00) totaled $974.24. My review explicitly stated the calipers themselves were "almost $250" ($124.14 x 2 = $248.28), which is accurate to the penny. 3. The staff was welcoming and made you feel like a friend! Daryl (the owner) is someone I felt in my heart was an honest wholesome man. And the technician (i believe his name was Dan) was very knowledgeable and didn't try to upsell me on a single thing. When I picked up my vehicle I was slightly nervous because we all know there's always some sort of bad news you hear after work is done. "This needs replaced asap, thats broken and will break down if not replaced soon" and quotes are prepared before you even show up. NONE of that occurred. I wasnt targeted to be upsold on a single thing. I didn't get the typical lecture of needing to spend hundreds of dollars in the near future. Dan told me everything checked out well, ran my payment and they both wished me a great evening! I came home and told my boyfriend if he ever needs work done he doesn't want to do, to take it there.
