Love this automotive place. They are honest as they won't try to convince you of unnecessary repairs. If diagnostics are done and nothing found, they usually don't charge if they can't fix the problem. If repairs are needed, They give you real deal quotes and their work is outstanding. These guys are amazing. As I write this I am currently in their parking lot. We are passing through on vacation and our brakes went out. Called the owner Rob and he helped us out - big time. We towed it here just before they closed. He checked the problem, ordered parts that will arrive first thing tomorrow and will have us back on the road asap. Last May our Chevy truck broke down in front of our house and needed a new transmission we called around and decided to take it out to brooks automotive for a new tranny and they did a fabulous job. So yesterday morning our truck decided to crap out right after we dropped our son off from school we had no idea what was wrong and well what do you know the fuel pump went out! We were lucky enough to have a friend have AAA tow it out there for no cost! Brooks fixed it in under 24 hours and had to replace the fuel pump! Borrowed a friends old 2001 Dodge pick up and was driving from Washington to California and broke down on HWY 5 on the weekend before 4th of July. The rear end went out. How do you pick a good auto repair shop when everything is closed down and you're not even sure where you are? When determined much more severe, they gave me a lift to rental car agency and got me back on the road. They then completed the repairs in time for me to pick-up on my way back North.
