Found side dishes like veggies, rice, etc., (the non meat side items) mushy and flavorless. Ended up tossing the sides most of the time. Different menues seemed like a slight variation to other menues, by changing a sauce or a vegi, fair, but to us too similar, especially if it was not well liked menu in the first place. We tried it and decided it was not for us. If that was it i would NOT have left a review, jsut let it go. What has been irritating is supposedly FACTOR is easy to 'cancel at any time'... wrong! First i skipped a few weeks, then i just decided wasnt worth it and canceled. Canceled online, filled out a survey listing why we wanted to quit etc. Weeks later I learn i am being CHARGED again, AND FACTOR has SHIPPED another box of unwanted orders! 4-5 weeks after canceling the service! Stuff happens but after waiting on hold for an hour (the recording said estimated 25 minutes, said 25 minutes for over 25 minutes. Now i'm super unhappy. After an hour on hold waiting to speak to customer service, who did after some discussion and escallation, cooperated (hopefully) to resolve my situation and canceled my subscription (for a second time). But having to wait for an hour and having my initial online request to cancel be ignored i am left frustrated with FACTOR. They lost my trust as a service. Canceling is not quick (an hour on hold) and definatley not easy, obviously online attempts to cancel are unreliable, waiting an hour for assistance to talk to a human is frustrating. I wish FACTOR luck, it just will not be with me as a customer.

These deficiencies reveal how predatory Factor's business model is (like Columbia House for my…read moregeneration): There should be a setting where you select either Factor selected meals or Skip (not a presumption of Factor selected meals). When choosing Factor selected meals, there should be a setting directing them to choose from your Favorites (not according to their profits). The Skip button should be easy to find (they recently removed it from the primary selection page ... making it hard to find). When skipping, an explanation should be optional (not mandatory). Cancelling should be as easy as signing up (not requiring a phone call, 15 minutes on hold, an agent that replies to your instruction to cancel with a statement that she will decide the outcome, and not an agent that drops you into a survey they haven't earned the privilege of receiving from you based on the above). But hey ... if you need a freezer full expensive meals you don't like, sign up!
