Even has a few food items but these are pretty expensive compared to regular grocers. The owner and staff are very helpful and knowledgeable. It makes shopping for healthier items so convenient. Making it even better are the reasonably acceptable prices. There's bottles of things like B12 for about $8 or so. Also they have a nice variety of meal replacement bars. They have some that give you energy that can last. Good stuff at mostly good prices and the staff will help you find something acceptable for your diet or whatever you need for health. It also has some vegan foods for quite a bit more than you're probably willing to spend. They also have a newsletter so you can find savings in there.

Also there's vegan friendly snack foods such as cakes. It's a lot more expensive for items such as these and you can get these much cheaper elsewhere. The service also can be slow when the only employee is with another customer and going into a lengthy conversation about products and vitamins.

After a solid five minutes of eye contact and mutual confusion, she grunted and pointed at a table that I'm pretty sure was held together by hope and one rusty screw. The food: I ordered the "house special," which tasted like someone described what flavor should be, then forgot halfway through and gave up. The chicken was simultaneously burnt, cold, and somehow wet. Physics took one look and walked out. The service: Our server vanished like a Victorian spirit the moment we sat down. I'm convinced he joined witness protection. I saw him once more, briefly, like a cryptid sighting, only to have him drop my drink so hard it carbonated itself on impact. The bathroom: Look... I've been to music festivals. I've survived porta-potties at county fairs. I've seen stuff. But whatever was going on in that restroom? That was a crime scene. The toilet paper roll was sitting on the counter like it had escaped and was considering a new life in Peru. The ambiance: Lights flickering like we were dining inside a horror movie. Music alternating between elevator jazz and what I can only assume was a recording of someone microwaving aluminum foil. It's being PROMOTED in the store when you walk in- One of the reasons the sign states compares MED taxes vs REC taxes. It was at 12:26 on 4/30- TODAY. Today a woman walked fast to get inside before me, I didn't care. She got in the REC line- She is NOT a medical patients. She is a recreational cannabis user not being used as medication your doctors want you to try or take. The guy was rude and not helpful at all about my capsule questions and was just rushing. As I walked away I saw the REC lady walk right up to him, the MEDICAL PATIENT said something about it, I did not hear what she said, but she said something. The REC lady said no I've been waiting, it was about 3 minutes. THE EMPLOYEE SAID- YEAH SHE'S BEEN WAITING LONGER. THAT'S NOT THE POINT OF A MEDICAL LINE OR MEDICAL CANNABIS. To SELL MORE, you're PROMOTING people WITHOUT THE HEALTH NEEDS FOR IT TO get a MEDICAL CARD for savings and to dip into your SMALL POT OF MED INVENTORY AS IS. I am super disappointed as a med patient- I jumped through hoops to get my medical card and my doctor and that process is very expensive, and obviously insurance does not cover a dime. Fingerprints, mini photo, background check ETC. I'll never return UNLESS I can't find a product I need ANYWHERE else. Rise Joliet is really getting bad.
