    Garlic knots 3
    Alexis C.

Picked up an order from the Chinese restaurant next-door and all I could smell was amazing garlic outside and immediately knew I had to get garlic knots! So my husband and I popped inside and decided to grab a slice of cheese pizza and a slice of the Bianca pizza. We ended up getting the two slice combo which is two slices of pizza and a drink for $9.99. We also got an order of three garlic knots, the staff were super sweet and threw an extra knot in there for us, it also came with a huge cup of their marinara sauce. We took it home, and we were pleasantly surprised when we tried it. The pizza was absolutely outstanding, great sauce, nice chewy crust with a good crisp on it. The cheese pizza had a good amount of cheese on it, and just the right amount of sauce. The Bianca was a white pizza with mozzarella, ricotta, garlic, and olive oil. It was delicious as well and I enjoyed the texture differences between the two cheeses, along with the bite from the garlic. We also enjoyed the garlic knots, they had a great garlic flavor, nice and soft with that little bit of chew that you expect from pizza dough, and the marinara sauce was absolutely perfect. Definitely will order a full-size pie from this place next pizza night. I got a picture of the garlic knots, but forgot to get a picture of the pizza slices. They smelled so good and we're perfectly warm. We devoured them before even thinking about taking a photo, but trust me when I say they were perfect!

Terrible overpriced calamari (onion rings)!! 14$!!!

Our usual pizza place changed the ownership. Now, this is our favorite place! We are both from the NY area.

The pizza has amazing flavor and the dough is nice and crispy, and soft in the areas it needs to be, great undercarriage as well.

I thought the ravioli and the sauce were both really tasty!!! The ravioli were filled with the perfect amount of filling, and the edges were sealed correctly so none broke apart while cooking. I would've liked the option to buy both fresh (not frozen), but really enjoyed them and will return to try some of the other flavors!! So many to choose from!

Since I was going to be in their town in a few days and only live about 20 minutes from Melina's I decided to order some and bring it in a cooler so my mother could surprise her. I'm glad I ordered it ahead of time. It was a smooth process and allowed me to choose a few things to try on my own. I followed my GPS to the teenie-tiny building Melina's is located in. Walked in and was greeted by a big smile from one of their workers with a chef's coat on. She grabbed my box quickly from their freezer and answered a few of my curious questions. She seemed to love what she did! How refreshing! She welcomed my questions and was just an overall cheerful person. Tried some of their pasta about a week later. It was goodness in a string. There is NO comparison to store-bought pasta. Melina's pasta is delicious! Also, Melina's sauce- better than the rest. For real. I'm thrilled to have Melina's to go to for all things pasta (and sauces). I'm supporting a small, local business and it's delicious! Win-win!

We subscribe to offline platforms specifically to discover new places--and we often return and pay full price because, for us, the quality of food and service is what matters most. That's the whole point of an offline experience. Speaking from my experience: the staff member initially took out a piece of tiramisu that looked perfectly fine--not frozen. But right in front of me, he switched it out and served a freezer-burnt piece instead. I'm quite sure that piece was going to be thrown out anyway, so it wasn't a loss caused by me. Unfortunately, he wasn't apologetic--in fact, his response was aggressive, both in tone and body language. I asked him why he was reacting that way when all I did was question how a frozen block could be served as dessert. (It's not a grocery store.) The issue wasn't the presentation--it was the deliberate act of giving me the bad piece while I was standing there watching. ------------------- Original review- This is my second time here, had gotten the bolognese pasta with mushrooms and broccoli the last time, it was not bad but not worth coming back for. This time I thought to give the dessert a try and got a tiramisu, the guy taking my order was super aggressive as I was using an offline discount. He gave me a piece that was okay at first and then while I was paying switched it put to a freezer burnt piece! When I asked him about it he was super aggressive and said he'd give me a refund but I should get an entree instead. And oh yeah he said I could keep that frozen crappy piece too! Sorry sir in the bin it goes! Pic for reference.

I also added the chicken. The food was good. I think with more time, the restaurant could be great. The sauce was light and fresh. The pasta was a bit clumpy, but it went well with the sauce. The chicken was the perfect addition to the pasta. I wish they had parmesan to put on top. There was a lot of sauce left in my container, so a slice of bread would have been a great addition.

Ordered a couple items - a Carbonara Piada with crispy chicken and a Diavolo Pasta with grilled chicken and cheese. Both items were hearty, well sauced and spiced, fresh tasting, and delicious. It's a unique menu and we would eat here all the time. Plus, it was a really good portion size for money in the quick service scheme of things. The store looked very recently opened, modern, clean, but it's a couple years old. Most of all, I have to praise the friendly and helpful staff. I was greeted when I came in to pick up my order. I had made a bad mistake in ordering, and without even asking, the kind cashier and chef insisted on correcting it. They went above and beyond. Their colleague who was attending to the line and packing up the beverage station was also friendly and helpful. This was a solid A+++ meal and experience in my book and I strongly recommend.

Ambiance is where it is getting worse - they had two different light bulbs flickering. I can understand one flickering as it could have just started and they haven't gotten around to it, but two seems to be their problem. I couldn't bear sitting under there, how is the owner walking around the whole day in the restaurant and not just going up and replacing the bulb - this is such a simple thing to do. I ordered our food for carry-out using the website, and that all went smoothly. Everything was ready on time as well. Unfortunately, the quality of the food was just OK. I ordered the roasted garlic cream tortelloni with grilled chicken, and the pasta and vegetables were both overcooked. The cheese filling in the tortelloni wasn't bad, and the chicken was reasonably moist, but I can't imagine paying $15 again for this food. My wife got the same pasta dish but with the parmesan crusted chicken, and she was not a fan of the chicken (she said it was dry). Overall, I guess it was OK? I'm not sure I'd ever come back here but if you're really craving some pasta, I can imagine it hitting the spot.
