Lilly's is always good and a Raleigh institution. It always seems to get more crowded as the night goes on. The staff is friendly, and it could probably use an overhaul but then maybe that's part of its charm. I'm not sure if it's changed in 20 years or more.

The pizza was really tasty, with a perfectly baked crust and high-quality toppings. The cheese was gooey, and the sauce had just the right amount of seasoning. The restaurant had a relaxed atmosphere, and the staff was friendly.

Great food and greater service. While waiting for our pizza Mohsin entertained us with great conversation. Quote of the night "I got Mohsin in the ocean" - Mohsin

The Super Duper rocks. Homemade organic tomato sauce, monterey jack, sharp cheddar, pepperoni, italian sausage, Mozzarella, all-natural ground beef & bacon. pizza has what I want. Check it out online for the menu before you arrive so you know what's going to be good for you.

We love Lilly's Pizza Drove by it for years, wife and I finally went. It's got the hole in the wall eclectic look. When you walk in the door that yeasty pizza dough brick oven smell hits you. We get a medium pizza with pesto as the base then top it with pepperonis, Bacon & Kalamata olives yum yum

Mushrooms removed from two slices of pizza. One of the dissected slices of pizza next to it for size reference.

Still one of my favorite pizza pies 15 years later. I just love this place. Great spot to meet up with friends and share a pie.

Fabulous pizza! Best in the triangle. Wonderful selections but pls kill the A/I customer interface when a customer calls in.

Pizza was very good. Delivery via GrubHub was not. Hence it was cold upon arrival.

The chef was very kind and made us a little extra for lunch- such a great guy! Thank you for always making your food with a lot of love and care. The rigatoni alla vodka is still to die for and I haven't found another place that comes close to it in Raleigh or Charlotte. Encourage everyone to support this local, small business!!! The food is awesome here!!! They also have more budget friendly lunch options too- just give them a call.

The restaurant is nice and dimly lit with plenty of seating, but you will have to find street parking around Glenwood. We were a party of 6 and they pulled together tables to accommodate us. Our server was a little slow but still friendly. For starters we got a Margherita pizza, calamari, the grilled caesar, and they brought us a complimentary bread basket with oil. Everything except the caesar was good. I guess we didn't expect the caesar to taste THAT charred and the lettuce to not be chopped. For main entrees, we ordered lasagna, lobster ravioli, penne alla vodka, and alfredo. The vodka pasta and lasagna were unflavored and disliked among the table. I would not recommend those dishes. The alfredo was okay. The best dish was the lobster ravioli.

I've also been to the Durham location, check out the review if you want to know more. Panysaurus over all is a very cool place (either location) but they have drastically different vibes - which in my book is a good thing. The Raleigh location has a smaller footprint and doesn't have the same outdoor patio vibe. The dinning area is a bit small but turn around is quick and there is plenty of space to stand and socialize if you're just there for the beer. I really love Ponysaurus beer, their pilsner is nice but their kolsch is my favorite. The Raleigh location menu has lots to choose from, we had a margarita pizza with pepperoni, hummus and wings. I can't recall what was in the hummus but we practically licked the bowl and the wings were a big hit too - note the Durham menu is a bit scaled down but one thing that's consistent with both locations is the amount of pita that came with the hummus. There is nothing worse than getting a huge bowl of hummus and only a few pieces of hummus or chips. Both locations knocked it out of the park - plenty of WARM pita for everyone. Service was great, we did't wait long and the tables were turned over quickly. They use a mobile app for ordering food which makes ordering fast and efficient and the food is delivered to your table - which I must note came out very fast.

I like it there overall but I'm definitely not a fan of the thunder-dome cut throat atmosphere of the "seat yourself" first come first serve...just make a wait list, takes 3 seconds

I got the app meatballs, that comes with three large meatballs, there was plenty of sauce to dip each bite into and a good dollop of ricotta. Vic's Pizza came highly recommend and the staff is genuinely awesome which adds a lot to the overall experience. Their pizza starts with a light crust and a simple sauce base. By the slice orders begin as plain cheese, and then you choose your toppings before it goes back in for a quick heat. It's ok enough but I personally prefer when toppings are added during the original bake so everything melds together more naturally. Seating inside is pretty limited but that wasn't a problem when I was there (most people were getting to-go full orders) Décor and ambiance have a playful, energetic feel (see pics) that fits the downtown location perfectly. Also the location it's in is great to hop around and grab a drink or hang out with friends outside. Overall recommend!
