Just a quick review, this location does waxing and that was what i was looking for. There is plenty of parking by their store front. Their store is pretty large and they have many manicure and pedicure stations also it seems like that they are very well staffed for sure. I came in for brow waxing and they quickly had me go to the back and got it started. The room they took me had a little wax pot and it seems like that they don't clean the area very often, that is the only negative and a big one for me, the wall by the wax pot was full of splashes... not very sanitary. The lady who did my brow was super talented and I loved her final result. I am not sure what was her name sorry. The waxing here in ohio seems to be a lot more expensive than in new york I am not sure why. They charge about 10 dollars for the service here. but it is not only here, this entire area is pretty expensive for the waxing, back in New York the same service would be 4 dollars, just absurd how expensive it is here. In spite of the cleaningness that reflects my star count here in this review I would regiment a brow service at this spot. read more

I am not sure the name of my stylist, but it was one of the men. He told me during my pedicure that my heels are bad because I am too fat to reach to my feet. I have a medical condition that causes me to have very thick calluses on my heels, and care for them weekly. I can reach my feet just fine. His comment was absolutely inappropriate and I will not give this place my business again. read more

I used to come here all the time before Covid and at the beginning of the remodel. Yesterday was my first visit since then and sorry to say my lady. I only seen 1 person that used to work there and now there was 3 men and I got one of them. I hit a mani and pedi . It wasn't the best and he didn't know how to shape the toes or nails. As I was getting polished I pointed out how all the nails weren't covered and he said 2 nd coat will cover, it didn't. I asked for a design on my big toe which I never got and swirl design on index which got cat eye instead. The place is gorgeous with the remodel but when they are using dirty towels from the hamper on multiple people, which I seen being done many times. Time to find a new salon. read more

I used to bring my grandgirls here for pampering because the price is decent and they are good at accommodating multiple people quickly without appointments. This summer I've come every other week for self-care to get acrylics and pedi. All was fine until it wasn't. One of my acrylics popped off and I saw my nail was green underneath. I returned to have them all removed and get a mani/pedi to clean the nail beds. I was told by my nail tech that water got under my acrylics and caused the issue. I'm not an expert but it seems suspicious. Also, I use a signature color that the salon doesn't carry so I bring it with me. NBD. Last time I left it. I called immediately and was told they didn't see it. Upon my return I spot the color. I explain that I left it. They acknowledge that I bring the color but state that the solo bottle is theirs because they marked it with a sharpie as proof?!? She did offer to give me MY BOTTLE for free but insisted it was salon property. It's a rare bottle that hasn't been there ever before. I left the bottle and salon. I'm disappointed and will not return. Be cautious here. Accepting responsibility is not their strength. read more

Went in was extremely noisy all women they have golf on the tv they charge 25.00 for gel polish can get it on Amazon for 17.00 and take with you you would get a better deal if you did that the nails are crooked uneven and not painted properly would not go here again... they charged 90.00 being a mystery shopper.. I'm from out of town and the hotel recommended this place. They weren't busy when I walked in which was great, but it took so long. I was passed from the first nail tech when I requested a soak off not a tear off. The second nail tech seemed like he was very under experienced. I went in at 5:10 and didn't leave until 7:15 for a soak off and dip. It took much longer than my at home salon and the service was $45. Kevin was my nail tech, and he was so very delightful. I don't really like small talk at all, and it's nice to not feel forced. That being said, we were able to chat about some recipes and it was really great. Honestly, this is the first time I understood why people request nail techs. I prefer black gel manicures, and it's been my experience that I'll leave a salon and see my nails under natural light, and the color isn't thick enough. Not so this time! ASTONISHED by the total lack of customer service. The guy who did my nails was constantly on his cell phone the whole time. He probably stopped 20-30 times to text or talk to his buddy. My manicure had gotten severely chipped between cleaning, packing, and traveling to Ohio so I needed another stat. I remembered driving by this place before so I thought I'd give it a shot. The ladies working were very nice but I think they are more used to doing fake nails rather then simple manicures. It was OK but nothing special, no warm lotion, no special dryers, nothing to make it stand out. And it cost $16, more than I usually pay in San Francisco. I actually didn't even see pricing for manicures posted - just for tips and fills. She asked if I was paying cash or credit and then told me the price. Not to happy with my experience, I had an older man that wears glasses, he told me to "stop talking" multiple times when I asked for simple corrections nicely, like cutting my nail down again or file it. He proceeded to tell me I was not the expert here. I was quiet at first, whatever I'm trying to get in and out, UNTIL I asked him if he could make my big toe look like the other one & this man said "it's fine" !! & when i said can u just fix it, he was abt to when the owner said "don't fix it, it's fine, I'll do the design over it" , me : "um no it's messy, can u please fix it" the old man proceeded to put the gel light over my feet & then ended up hitting the wet gel paint on all my toes & messed up the whole foot. This is my nail salon of choice in the Beavercreek area. It is clean and the staff is friendly. I like that they take the time to interact with their clients and it isn't the same obligatory, generic questions. I actually had a conversation with the tech that did my nails and that was refreshing. They were featured on the local news which I thought was awesome. Local salons were showcased when the department of health inspected them. This was one of the places that got an A-ok rating. Why not 5 stars? However, I went today (4/12/15) and the tech who did my nails sat on his cell phone with his handsfree on talking the entire time! He made multiple calls while doing my nails. The nail technician literally ripped under my nail to "clean them out" (ow!). The lotion they used was so greasy I almost slipped right out of my own shoes and I had to wait until I got back to my car to wipe my legs off before I could unroll my pants. Absolutely worst experience at a nail salon. The lady was not only talking badly about TWO guests within the 30 minutes I spent there, she started off by soaking my shellac off with a dirty bowl full of acetone and floating nail polish chips from other peoples nails, then continued to turn my nails paper thin by using her tool HEAVILY to get off what was left of my polish, she cut my hand TWICE and didn't even apologize. Then my manicure "soak" was a bowl of cold water that she used to later splash my hands into it instead of asking me to wash my hands before beginning to paint, which is the CLEAN AND PROPER WAY. She then dried my hands with the dirtiest towel, I could smell the mildew water on it.She forced me to take my hand out of the uv dryer after 15 seconds which I'm assuming led to my polish peeling off 2 hours after my manicure. After she finished the painting she sprayed literally SPRAYED my entire hand with alcohol not just the finished nails, slapped on some lotion and rubbed my arm for 5 seconds and said DONE. I wasn't very happy with my previous nail job, and the technician (Christine) suggested I start over with a new set and get what would make me happy. I loved the job she did! The reason: Employee more worried about texting than taking care of client sitting right in front of him. We felt like we were imposing on her. My friend's bowl leaked all over the floor. They were more focused on keeping water cleaned up than us. My friend's pedicure was even shorter than mine. My daughter is recommended this place to me because she is a regular customer. I my nails had been done for 8 months and we're my natural ones with a layer. of acrylic on them to keep them from breaking. The guy insisted that they were to long and would have to cut and fake nails put back on. I Reluctantly, I allowed him to do it. It has only been 10 days and I have always lost 3, I have been in the hospital and on bed rest so they did come off from work. I will never go there again. I stopped in for gel nails and had a set that needed to be soaked off. My hand was placed in a plastic container of solvent that had been used numerous times on other clients. Strike one. Once she got started on me, the technician got up and ran around a number of times, doing other things around the salon. So you definitely don't get that pampered feeling! As far as value, I've spent the same amount at other salons for gel nails but got a manicure as part of the service. Here it was $15 more. However, I was glad I declined because, when I had a loose cuticle that needed trimmed, the technician used a clipper from the drawer, suggesting that they don't use clean instruments on their clients. The salon is not clean, there is acrylic dust all over the place. The staff here is very friendly but that is not enough reason to overlook the other flaws. I've attempted to go to this salon on a few separate occasions, using different nail techs each time, and I do not recommend it. As I've read, this is not a salon to go to for a manicure, nor would I recommend it for artificial nails. My first experience, the tech drilled so deep into my nail bed, that it caused pain for weeks. I again, tried to go back and another tech got upset with me because I asked her not to use a drill. She ended up doing a shoddy job and the owner had to finish what she messed up. During my last experience, I had a pedicure for my friends birthday, the only thing I liked about it was my polish. From November 2013 to April 28 I've not had a great experience, which is why I do not recommend this salon. Convenience and inexpensive cost have caused me to permanently stay away. read more

Nails chipped off within 2 days. Rude service. My sister had good service when we went together, I was visiting out of town for her wedding. The person I got was very rude and mean to me. She was insulting me, jabbing with the tools (my foot later inflamed) and angry because she kept trying to upgrade without telling me for things I didn't need. She didn't do a manicure just painted the polish on and kept trying to get me to do a different color than I wanted (I picked what I needed to match the bridesmaid dress.) other people started noticing how rude and insulting she was being to me. She asked me to pay before she painted my nails after her attempt to upgrade everything for an additional 35.00 didn't work... Even more insulting. No one else had to pay first. As if I'm a thief? And as I said the polish all chipped off in a couple days. Not worth it! Especially for what I get where I live. I don't know the name of the woman who helped me, she was older (all the other ladies we had with our group were younger). They talk in another language in front of you too & look at customers while doing it, so who knows if gossiping. read more
