Margherita
Tommy B.

Returned to Estilo for my second time. Great food and great prices. $38 for 2 pizzas (one large, one small) is incredible considering a lot of places in Nashville are around the same price for one pie. Food was great this time. Crust nice and thin, very crispy. The Margherita pizza was absolutely amazing. Exploding flavors and fresh ingredients. It was a pizza you could eat by yourself and not feel bad about it.

So disappointed in the food. When we walked in we exchanged looks because clearly we were the only ones aware that something was burning. Turns out that's just how they cook. How do you make bad pizza? Ask this place. Don't believe me? Look at the pictures! We won't be back.

Sausage and pepperoni pie

Our family loves pizza and we have to try a new place when they open up, especially if they open up just down the road from us. We tried ordering from here once before, but they take pre-orders and getting a pie on the weekend was going to take 3 hours due to all of the pre-orders. We tried again on a Thursday last week and were thankfully able to place our order, which was great because this was a tasty pie. This was actually our first time trying New Haven style pizza (despite growing up in the Northeast) and we enjoyed that it was pretty similar to NY style. The sausage was tasty and you could tell they use real Italian sausage since it was course and I enjoy that texture. The pepperoni on the pie was tasty, but could definitely be crispier, so we'll have to ask for extra crispy next time. Our only complaint is that it was a pretty expensive for a large pie ($25 for the pie, plus service charge and tax), but it was good enough that we'll come back again. All in all, this is a nice addition to Mt. Juliet and we wish them luck!

Pizza is definitely the BEST in Mt Juliet! Love that we have this option here locally and don't have to go all the way to Nashville!

One of my favorite restaurants growing up was this family Italian joint called Carmine's. My…read morefavorite thing to order there was what they called spaghetti with meatballs. But, speaking to that, it had a couple of intersting aspects. One, they would literally give you 10-20% more if you ordered that dish to go because their to-go containers when filled were noticeably larger than the dishes your entrees came on. And, two, their "spaghetti" was actually linguine and is 100% the reason linguine is my favorite noodle when it comes to traditional rope pasta. I told you that to tell you this, Fayzano's "linguine" is definitely fettuccine. Those noodles were super wide. Not that that's a huge deal, but much like getting linguine when you're expecting spaghetti, the mouth feel for fettuccine is not the same as the mouth feel for linguine. It holds the sauce different, it retains the clams different, and the proportion of sauce to pasta is super different. I mean--it was good. Clams in red sauce will always be my preferred go-to order, but I still would've rather had the skinnier flat noodles of a linguine than a super wide fettuccine noodle. It's just more satisfying to me. The service here was good. They got our food quickly and with minimum banter. And then they got out of the way, checking in maybe every five to ten minutes, which is the perfect amount. The ambiance was good. It's a good neighborhood pizza and pasta joint like Carmine's. It's not very big but it has a lot of spacing between the tables as not to feel cramped up in there. It's also deceptively laid out to feel fuller than it is, which is nice. It gives the whole place a nice energy. I still wish thru had real linguine, but if that's my chief complaint then you know this place is doing something right.

We ordered Chicken Fettuccine Alfredo, buffalo wings, and 2 slices of pepperoni pizza. So much food and everything was so good. They gave us so much sauce for the Chicken Alfredo and I love that very much. Most restaurants, they don't put a lot of sauces in their pasta so I was amazed by the amount of food and sauce they served us. Wings were 100/10 and their pizza was like, hmmm, like NY style slices. Sooooo good. Highly recommend this place!

They would not cook the pizza since by the time we got to the cash register it was 7:20 and it would take too long to cook (45 minutes) and they close at 8pm. So if they changed their policy to say 3pm until 7pm. It would've saved us 15 minutes in line. I'm very annoyed. Edit to make my review more clear. I'm from Chicago and very familiar with deep dish pizza. I was willing to wait the 45 minutes. The staff would not serve us since it was after 7pm

Everything was clean and well maintained, which added to the overall pleasant atmosphere. The food was very good. My wife ordered the spaghetti with meat sauce, and the portion was so generous that I took half of it home. The sauce had a rich tomato flavor with just a hint of sweetness, making it a very enjoyable meal. I ordered the Sicilian pepperoni pizza, which was a large portion and tasted very good, although it appeared to have been sitting in the case for much of the day. We'll definitely return when we're in the mood for pizza or another plate of spaghetti. Overall, I'd give this restaurant 4.5 out of 5 stars and would definitely recommend it if you're looking for a cozy, reliable place to eat.

Like, it's good enough that you *will* contemplate eating your order in your car before heading home. It's well worth the drive and it will live up to everything you've heard/read. It will. You absolutely need to patronize it. TdG had been on my radar for a minute but I'm not often in Hermitage* and I couldn't justify driving out of town for food when I have other options closer by. BUT I had to find out if the food was *just* that good. I'd read rave after rave. It's just pasta. Can it be that great? So, on a chilly late fall Saturday night I decided I needed to find out. I'd done my research so I knew the place was small. I knew I might need to play human tetris in the waiting area on a cold day. I knew what to order. But I also 'knew' that the 'say Yelp' phrase would offer a discount. The phrase was uttered but no discount came my way (which is the reason for the four stars instead of five). Lack of discount aside, everyone with whom I interacted was very polite and welcoming even despite the place being a madhouse of activity and orders. My food was ready in an appropriate amount of time and the bag had adequate weight/heft. The pleasant aroma filled the cold air as I walked to my car and surrounded me all the way home. I came home, poured a glass of wine, plated my food and... wow. This was/is phenomenal. I ordered the 4 cheese gnocchi and, without a doubt, one of the best gnocchi dishes I have had in life (and I used to be paid to eat**). I think I uttered the word 'perfect' between forkfuls. Each 'perfect' pillowy dumpling was lathered in a combo of mozzarella, asiago, gorgonzola, and pecorino. That alone would have been delicious but woven into the dish were ribbons of crispy prosciutto. Other.Worldy. It's getting cold. Sweater weather is here. Bathing suit season is months away. You're free to eat heaping plates of some of the best pasta you've ever had. *I came before they had a second location. **Among other things.

I think it's rather funny that everyone and their mom continues to make the location of the place…read moreseem scary. In short, writing that it is in a low-income area. And to those people, I ask, "Have you ever been to Antioch?" No, this place isn't scary or in a rough neighborhood. It's definitely not Brentwood, but it's safe to say you can leave your pitchforks and torches at home. It is, for lack of better words, located in a hole in the wall of a micro-tiny strip mall, next to a sports bar. Inside, it is sweet and cozy. In this cozy place, you will find the friendliest of staff members. To have an entire staff give their customers the utmost respect is one of the most challenging tasks of any business owner. So the fact that this owner was able to achieve such a difficult task is something to applaud. There is no board with an entire menu, but there are small pamphlets off to the side with the menu. I ordered the pepperoni pizza along with the meatballs as an appetizer. My friend and I sat outside, where they have outdoor seating and tables. That, I have to say, is the only downside to this place. The seating. No indoor seating, and with how ever-changing Middle Tennessee's weather is, you might have to drive it home or eat it in the car. But with humidity changing texture in a box or to-go box, it might take the freshness away from the experience. After the food was brought out to us, which is a plus and highly appreciated, we were ready to eat. I did have to run inside to grab some packets of crushed red pepper. You must ask for it, which, without hesitation, the man minding the wood stove gladly grabbed for me. Separating a slice of pizza from the others was a sight to see. What you typically want to see separating pizza. The ooey gooey cheese in entanglement. I took a bite and fell in love with the freshness. Every ingredient is fresh, and you don't feel that awful sloth feeling that a Pizza Hut pizza would leave you with. The pepperoni was to die for. Although the meatballs had a flavor that I wasn't too happy with, I knew they were good, even if my flavor profile didn't desire it much. The meatballs were incredibly soft, and the sauce they bathed in, with a sprinkle of ricotta cheese, was divine. My friend happily downed the entire box they sat in. This now will forever be one of my go-to pizza places. And yes, it's worth it to eat in your car, if need be.
