Not for beginners…read more Booked a class for my husband and I, his back is about to go and he's been told Pilates is a good way to strengthen his core. It was the first class for the both of us. The instructor/owner let us know a few times we should have booked private instruction, I thought because of his back. Class was pretty amazing, again our first time so it kicked our butts. We were obviously the beginners of the group but we tried our best to keep up and I don't believe we slowed the class down. I was feeling pretty good afterwards, it's been a while since I "did a workout" and had that nice endorphin rush; I told her we'd def be back, presumably for private sessions. It's just... on the way out I overheard the instructor greeting students for the next class and what she said just made me not want to return. "Have you done Pilates before?" The girls answered yes. "Oh, thank God! I'm dying..." So, yeah. If you know what you're doing and are going for the routine and equipment, it's a lovely space. If you want to go to a class to learn how to do Pilates, it sounds like this is not really the place for that.

Personally, one of my favorite gyms due to the fact it has most of the equipment I need, the 24…read morehour access, and low amount of crowds. I go 5 days a week and the low traffic is consistent. I love a nice quiet gym, keeps me focused on the task at hand and i'm able to move from one equipment to the next without waiting on someone. Also, the people there are pleasant and welcoming. Nothing is out of use and everything looks like it's brand new since maintenance is clearly a priority. I also love that it's never crowded so I never have to change what exercise I'm planning on doing. Lenny (the owner) is super nice and very knowledgable - he has tons of experience and the equipment he includes in his gym is very purposeful. They have at least 2 sets of every dumbbell, so again, you never have to wait or compromise for the weight you want. I also love that there are mirrors everywhere so you can focus on your form. Finally, I love that he has a BC strength glute bench and a 5 ft bar with hip pads to make hip thrusts so much more comfortable. Lots of cardio if you're into that too!

The staff does nothing to stop people, usually teens from sitting on machines texting and waisting space. Cardio machines are standard and in working order. Dumbbells go to 100,which is great. Towel service is also very nice touch Place is very clean. All in all 3 stars is fair. Its small and a weight room should not have a squat rack, bench press and platform all in one. Smith machine are useless. I'm a certified strength trainer, I know what I'm taking about. It is what it is. At this point it is good enough for me. I would recommend, but for some no. BTW, bathrooms are clean, but in no way are a locker room.

Needed to cancel my gym membership unexpectedly. I was told they have "numerous options to…read moreaccommodate different situations." Frankly, your options stink. The most helpful was a transfer of the membership to a location "near" my new home. Nearby was defined as within 25 miles! Really?!? Who in their right mind with any life drives 25 miles one way to go to the gym!! How arrogant and ridiculous. I was given incorrect information over the phone when I called regarding cancelling my membership. Furthermore, when I signed up I wasn't given plan options, leaving me trapped in a membership I can no longer utilize. If you're going to have ridiculous cancellation policies, at least train your employees to give out correct information and make all options known to customers when signing people up. Life changes happen frequently in an unpredictable and rapid manner. The equipment at the gym isn't even adequate. In response to the comment below - not sure how telling me the incorrect payment (off by 200 dollars!!?) I owe over the phone to cancel is "providing you with the right guidance to reach out."
