The staff is very friendly and motivating and the new facility they are at is very upscale. The size of the groups range from 4 to 8 and they require you to register one day in advance to ensure the classes do not get larger. Unlike some other boot-camps that require you to workout on street payment or at a park with wet grass, this facility has an artificial football field turf indoors. It's very soft on your feet, ankles, knees, legs - your entire body! They have plenty of medicine balls, stability balls, weights, excise mats, etc. As far as pricing, they are priced the same as other boot-camps. If you have kids, they have separate fitness classes available (you can even watch your kids through a large window to monitor them if needed). If you can afford it, you won't be disappointed by the results if you push yourself! Happy exercising!

Initially they sounded professional and made a great pitch as to all of the "behind scenes and predatory work" in their analysis with the planning of the work out. That was a bunch of bull... We haven't been able to get in for weeks to train as they keep saying they do not have an open spot to train. Typically gyms are open 7 days a week and the private trainers are readily available. Not here!!! I got a great pitch, billed my credit card, and its been impossible to get in to see the usual trainer that was initially provided. There are a lot of choices in Westchester, and we decided to go elsewhere. Do your research VERY carefully. I have seen a lot of bait and switches with youth sports club teams, and now this. That is why they like to charge fees so aggressively. Honestly the Scarsdale one is why better and the Colorado one is truly amazing. They go above and beyond to support your fitness journey and they assume positive intent and flex if needed. These people don't flex at all and some weird things about wait list. Very disappointing. Some of the front desk people are super nice. Others are not and I don't believe they really care if you are getting healthy or not. It's just a business. The routine was clear, the music was bumpin, and he was very helpful making sure the exercises were done right and you were using the proper weights for your skill set. Location wise this is not possible to join BUT if I were closer it would be an obvious sign up. The facility was spacious, comfortable, good equipment, and a small shopping area. I was able to repeat a few routines in future workouts which is always great. I strongly suggest if you can to try it out and join. That workout was intense and through, and even though I was obviously the new girl the class was very welcoming in general.

Hey, isn't this clever!…read more This gym, which has been here for ages, run by the same company, was rated so poorly (I think 1-1/2 stars), that they found a way to wipe the slate clean by resetting to a "new listing". It's easier to purge the ratings and photos from hundreds of actual customers than to fix the gym. So I guess we need to build up a truthful accounting again. Fine, I'll go first. This is for the Hawthorne location. Stuff is broken and stays broken forever. It's not uncommon for more than half the treadmills machines to be down, and to remain that way for months or even years. Most of the weight training machines lack pins...it's like management got tired of replacing them, so we do without. Sort of like a prison gym, I'd imagine. Showers mostly don't work, lockers are mostly busted. The rules are not enforced (because the only workers actually on the floor are trainers whose income depends on their likability). So nothing's put away, "bros" hog the various stations, and the poor embattled desk people need to cut the lights at closing to get people to exit. Nothing's clean. The water fountains (which, in keeping with the prison approach to maintenance, barely squirt any water at all) smell like mucous. Floors and mats are gritty/sticky - some dude pushes a mildly wet mop around from time to time, spreading out the muck. And good luck with billing. These guys are the recognized champions of unprincipled hidden charges, broken promises, and nickel/diming. Just google for horror stories of people spending hours and hours trying to cancel, downgrade, or otherwise get the company to keep its promises. As I said, there used to be hundreds and hundreds of reviews here testifying to all this, along with perky responses from customer service insisting that they try hard to provide a quality product, and "appreciate the feedback". It's all spin, all the time with these guys. The spin approach to management: Massage complainers, purge Yelp complaints, and scramble like mad to paste on bandaids. Anything but run a gym conscientiously. So I'm the one lonely reviewer right now. It'll take a while to build back the horror show these guys somehow persuaded Yelp to expunge. But watch, you'll see that this is not an unusual opinion in any way.
