The portions are huge. The waitresses can be very friendly once they come to take your order. Before that, they won't even acknowledge even if you're sitting in their section. The several times I've gone there, no hostess was on duty. I'm assuming the hostess stand is manned by whichever waitress is not busy at the time you enter? The pretzel bites appetizer is a must-have. This is a great place to go after a long day at work when you don't want to cook and just want to eat some comfort food, drink something cold, and unwind.

Other than being very messy, which I had to request extra napkins for (it appears that normally that they have paper towel rolls spaced around the bar top but was not near me), it was really good. The patty was cooked medium well and all the ingredients were tasty. Because of the mess I would probably not get it again. But that is the only reason. The tots were perfectly crispy outside and soft inside. It was not super crowded and other than having to ask for extra napkins, bartender was attentive. In addition to the bar top there are some tables as well. If I was back in the area would have no problems with returning and trying another burger, their prize winning wings or the "IDK What I Want" Sampler of 3 of their starter options.

The attempted 's squash us into the back corner of the restaurant. With barley a 12inch clearance for people to walk between two tables, when the chairs were empty and making contact with the tables. Then comes the interesting part of the experience. The waitress for the restaurant event was trying to take drink orders. I emphasize "trying" she made at least 8 trips bringing drinks most of which were incorrect. So sorry for her, she was a pleasant lady doing the best she knew how. The owner tried to assist but wasn't that far up the know how to serve customers than the waitress. The food orders were taken. After a great deal of time the orders began in shifts to appear at the tables. No more than 2 orders at a time. The waitress had no idea where the orders were to be placed. Sad because she took every individual's name when the orders were placed. The waitress finally thought all orders had been delivered. Only to discover one order had not been delivered. My girl was sitting in her place and there was no order that appeared. The waitress in a panic apologized and went searching for the order. The waitress kept appearing with drink refills and apologies. The missing order appeared about 15 minutes later with more apologies. The next panic point was the payment procedure. The owner, after we filed the complaint about the missing order agreed to giving 50% off the missing order. But had failed to mention that every order would have a 15% gratuity added to the total price. So there were gratuities left on the tables and now additional gratuities added to the check. What a mess. I will never set foot on their sticky floor again. Good food, very, very poor experience.

Everybody LOVED the food! The ribs are consistently tender and full of smoked flavor. You can count on their food tasting and smelling as though the cook was inspired by Edesia herself ; ). From their tender hefty slices of brisket to the sweet potato soufflé, you really can't go wrong with any plate you select.
