Another pick of sauce. Different angle

If I could give them no stars I would. This was our first experiencing this restaurant and ordered online. It took 20min to get our food which I knew was going to be bad or our food wasn't going to be fresh. Guess what, it wasn't! In fact, it was so disgusting I couldn't eat it! I ordered the southwestern chicken & the rice was old, cold, burnt & looked like it had been sitting in a pan for days. Barely any toppings. The chicken was dry and stiff. I also ordered some teriyaki wings. They seemed to be old as well, microwaved, and cold. The sauce tasted watered down or something. Overall experience we will not be ordering again!

Wings were the smallest I've ever seen, when we asked the server she stated that the distributor had been sending small wings so they were giving more to compensate, HOWEVER, we actually received less than we ordered. (See pic, a Splenda packet was larger than our wings) A $40 bill for 2 people, and we could hold both of our orders of wings in one hand. We complained to our server when the bill came and only received a quick 'sorry'. No manager came to our table - is there even a manager there??? This explains why every other restaurant in Rome had over an hour wait while we walked right in at Buffalos. We should have walked right back out. We've learned our lesson and won't be back.

Cockroach. Or as the manager claims "a waterbug".

Good sauce on the wings, cooked perfectly, and I'm a sucker for fried pickles. Great place for "bar food". Would definitely go back.

These sandwiches are so…read morewell put together and every tasting note and ingredient is well thought out with a high degree of quality. We had three sandwiches: Dill with it, the arsonist and the Al Capesto. Our favorite was the arsonist followed closely by the pesto one. The candied bacon and the seasoning on top puts it over the top. We loved how they cut these onto triangles of four, making them real easy to share. I ordered online and it only took 15 minutes. It was ready as soon as I ordered and started my half mile walk. I've heard of ghost kitchens before, and have got delivery from them, but never been inside of one. I absolutely love the idea. They take an underutilized kitchen such as one at a church and put it to good use during off hours. It's such a wonderful idea to not be wasteful with space and I'm sure it keeps the food prices low. Don't expect like a fancy fast casual place that spends way too much money on their space, but they do a perfect job with what they got. You are coming up to a church, but it's so well marked with signs and lights you can't miss it. It so nice to having a place in Candler park we can walk to, and the owners are warm and friendly. Truly a unique gem in the hood.

Best Grilled Cheese EVER!…read more I had the three cheese grilled cheese and added bacon and sundried tomato. It was so good! Crispy and well cooked and elevated with the salt and parsley garnish. *Chef's kiss* The tomato bisque was also delicious and the kale cole slaw was such a yummy, unique take on your typical cole slaw without straying too far from the familiar slaw you know and love. Staff is super friendly, attentive, and service is quick. Next time I see this food truck around I am definitely making a stop, and so should you!

Fun, eclectic eatery located in the heart of downtown Rome…read more The space is wide open and has a small, hometown feel to it with fun art and memorabilia hanging from the ceiling and walls. The menu is full of classic, comfort style dishes that will make you feel at home. Or server was a true southern belle with all the charm and kindness you would expect. I had a burger and it was delicious. This thing was MASSIVE and cooked to a perfect medium well as I had requested. The fries were also pretty good. They could have used a bit more seasoning but there was salt on the table!

This is a Southern Restaurant in a southern town. So I opted for a Shepherd's Pie from the St Paddy's Day menu. Yeah, go figure. It was rather bland. When I make this dish, I use ample cream in the potatoes (Irish style) and make a thicker, more moist pie, with a good deal of tomato in it. This was a bland substitute. Far better the next day when I added in enough butter to make the potatoes shine. I will give props for using lamb on this. She had the salmon patties. Fairly simple, also rather bland. Mashed potatoes as well. Breading on the okra was fine. Staff? Very friendly waiter. Answered all the questions and even described the drinks. As this has a good craft beer selection, I opted for one I had not had before and she got a smokey old fashioned. The old fasthioned did not have the cherries or orange peel you would normally see, but was rather strong and did use a rye whiskey. I would not go there for the drink, but reasonably priced. The ambiance is great. Typical of Rome, GA establishments, you can feel the history. They also have a rooftop bar and a separate bar area, for those seeking out a drink or two. Summary: The experience was good, but the food was bland. If you like to heavily salt your food, this might not be as big of a deal. On the whole, 3 stars, for average. Compared to other places in Rome, some of which are really bad, you would prefer this to many places. Nothing really bad to say, but nothing really good. Just average.
