The place is super clean and staff was wonderful! It was the best burger I've had in Rome in years! in and out for under $20!

Fun, eclectic eatery located in the heart of downtown Rome…read more The space is wide open and has a small, hometown feel to it with fun art and memorabilia hanging from the ceiling and walls. The menu is full of classic, comfort style dishes that will make you feel at home. Or server was a true southern belle with all the charm and kindness you would expect. I had a burger and it was delicious. This thing was MASSIVE and cooked to a perfect medium well as I had requested. The fries were also pretty good. They could have used a bit more seasoning but there was salt on the table!

Down in Rome this past weekend and decided to get into the Harvest Moon, as I had never been…read more Asking my girlfriend how it was, she just answered "okay". I now agree with her. This is a Southern Restaurant in a southern town. So I opted for a Shepherd's Pie from the St Paddy's Day menu. Yeah, go figure. It was rather bland. When I make this dish, I use ample cream in the potatoes (Irish style) and make a thicker, more moist pie, with a good deal of tomato in it. This was a bland substitute. Far better the next day when I added in enough butter to make the potatoes shine. I will give props for using lamb on this. She had the salmon patties. Fairly simple, also rather bland. Mashed potatoes as well. Breading on the okra was fine. Staff? Very friendly waiter. Answered all the questions and even described the drinks. As this has a good craft beer selection, I opted for one I had not had before and she got a smokey old fashioned. The old fasthioned did not have the cherries or orange peel you would normally see, but was rather strong and did use a rye whiskey. I would not go there for the drink, but reasonably priced. The ambiance is great. Typical of Rome, GA establishments, you can feel the history. They also have a rooftop bar and a separate bar area, for those seeking out a drink or two. Summary: The experience was good, but the food was bland. If you like to heavily salt your food, this might not be as big of a deal. On the whole, 3 stars, for average. Compared to other places in Rome, some of which are really bad, you would prefer this to many places. Nothing really bad to say, but nothing really good. Just average.

First time here dropped in at lunchtime at 12 o'clock on the nose only about 7 people in the…read morerestaurant. We handed a huge menu but was told nothing on the second page is available that plan said lunch specials and only select items only the first and third page And if they were also out of a couple different vegetables So let's play safe I opted for a club sandwich with coleslaw and fries After my order was placed, it was 28 minutes before I got my sandwich or shall I say my 1/2 of a sandwich Upon delivery, I guess the waitress noticed the far off look at my eye and the puzzled look. I was giving her and she asked me is everything OK? I asked her where is the other half of my sandwich she looked at it. And replied " well I don't know. I wondered why they only gave you half a sandwich, but it does have 3 pieces of bread in it." At this point another waitress came over the first waitress asked why did they give him a half a sandwich? The second waitress replied I just think that's how they're doing things now. The first waitress that asked me, would you like the rest of your sandwich?? I replied yes that would be great So off to the kitchen, she went and 15 minutes later comes my other half Apparently, this is their way of saving money. If you only give the customer half of what they order and try to pass it off as a full order. Employees are definitely not over enthusiastic to wait on you or to be very personable at all. Overall, pretty dissatisfying experience will definitely not be stopping by again

The food is delicious, Especially the chicken and fries. And my friends love sharing banter here…read more But the real draw are the employees and the dozens and dozens of photos here. The lady here just loves serving the customers, leave her a tip! And each photo is a story to tell.

I came in here on a whim on Thursday June 10th 2025 right around noon. I wasn't planning on eating…read morehere I had just met up here with someone to purchase something off FB marketplace, since I was in the parking lot I decided to go in and get some lunch and I'm glad I did. On first impression coming in I felt like I went back in time to an old cafeteria for senior citizens, and it is kind of that way but it's open and airy with plenty of good booth seating. The music is depressing as it's all old mostly from the 70's stuff, which is ok but I don't like crying over my food usually! Bit of a joke there so don't get upset if you love it! The good news is the food is actually pretty good! Usually these types of restaurants actually do cater to the local elderly crowd and so sometimes the food is understandably bland but not so much this time. I was seated instantly (apparently seat yourself) and was greeted immediately by Kelci,, a great server with a very pleasant and beautiful smile and a very professional and efficient demeanor. I ordered the grilled catfish with mashed potatoes and green beans. The catfish was surprisingly good with a nice flavor (even though the filet was almost tiny, luckily I wasn't too hungry, it still tasted good and the tartar sauce is came with was perfect). The sides I had were mashed potato's (again, nice flavor but no gravy) and the green beans were pretty fresh even though probably from a can, and those were pretty bland. Funny thing is there were no bread options for the meal but it was lunchtime so maybe that's why? They also have a large selection of desserts which Kelci helped me pick through. I got a slice of German chocolate cake which was huge and delicious, I couldn't finish it. Also the tea is good old southern tea, I had the half and half because it's pretty sweet but that's the way it's supposed to be! Overall the place was very clean and smelled nice. There's ample parking outside and the location is convenient. I will probably come back when in the area but won't make a drive from where I live in Cartersville just to eat here. So overall I'm giving 5 stars for the excellent service (thank you Kelci), 4 stars for the food, 3 for the atmosphere (kick up the music to add in some modern rock or something!) and 5 stars for cleanliness, parking and location. Definitely recommend for locals and folks passing through.
