Order this because someone raved about the restaurant. I can see why they did, it was great food. Unfortunately when I used Grubhub to order my meal we had a lot of issue with them not picking it up on time and delivery. This was not on the restaurant. Even when I called, the customer service of the restaurant was so nice. Made me feel a lot better. I was worried I couldn't give a fair review because my food would not be as fresh as I wanted. However, I tasted the food and was very impressed. I ordered the chicken and steak plate. It comes with fries, rice and a salad and sauces. I opted the salad out. Even thought the order was over a hour late, the food was still good. I was afraid the fries reheated would not be well, but they were so good. I mean all the food was actually really prepared well. The meat was seasoned and you got a good meat amount. The fries and rice were amazing for the dish. I picked the chipotle and green sauce which was very good. My only complaint was I asked for my sauce on the side and they added it to the mix. Not a big deal however because it still tasted ok. I would definitely spend my money here again and again. I would love to see more locations too. The prices and portions are a great match. Can't wait to try the food again! Next time I'm going to dine it.

Great spot that's open late. Greeted with a smile and the cashier was very helpful. The food is reminiscent of NY Style Halal food. Cajun spices on the fries and hot sauce is available to spice things up if you're so inclined. I ordered the chicken gyro. Great flavor and hit the spot after a long day. Fries were delicious and freshly fried. Casual atmosphere makes for a great place to stop by. I'll be back next time I'm in the area!

The inside of this place was very clean and nice , the cashier was pretty cool and straight to the point. Smiles and thanks you's. But let's face it the food is why we all came here right? This food is TOO TIER! I love every once of my Lamb Platter. My partner got the chicken platter, these consist of yellow rice fires a salad and the meat of choice topped with their special white sauce. You can choose no sauce or sauce on the side. I'm a sauce girl so I stick with it and got some on the side as well. The sun had the chicken fries it had a social name but I forgot. Fried chopped chicken buffalo sauce and white Sauce on top of fries. Fries were super good .

Delicious! The fries and the sauce were the highlights, but the whole mixed platter was packed with flavor. My daughter and I shared the platter, and it was plenty of food for both of us. We will definitely be back! This is definitely fast casual, but we enjoyed eating in and the service was friendly.

This was my first time going to this hidden gem in Farmington Hills! The food was outstanding! I ordered the mixed chicken and lamb platter! The generous portions were enough for two meals or two people. The white sauce drizzled over the platter was that extra flavor - yum The red sauce was a kicker. You will love it if you like a little spice in your life. The service was excellent and quick! The atmosphere was nice with music playing. I think I will dine in next time I'm in the area.

I've had Halal Guys in multiple locations, including the original in NYC. No clue they had a location in Novi until I found them by accident. This place is absolutely the best I've had outside of the Big Apple. Their mixed chicken/lamb bowl is to die for, and you can't have too much of their delicious sauces (unless it's the red one, be careful). I was going to simply do takeout, but the staff and interior were so nice I decided to just dine in. Excellent restaurant. I especially love their rice, which is probably the best rice I've had from any franchise.

    Lamb gyro

Got a lamb and chicken gyro via Uber eats as it was buy one get one free. The pictures show fries, but evidently fries are not included so I find that super misleading. The lamb gyro was so dry it was inedible. The spicy sauce on the chicken made it not dry, but it definitely wasn't spicy. One of the worst meals I've had in a long time.

The cheese curds are off the chart. Hands-down best I've ever had. Doesn't sound possible, right? They're just cheese curds. But nope. Seriously best I've ever had and the truffle fries w/aioli were so good. I had the Get him to the Greek slider and there was so much flavor. We also ordered a fish & chips slider (it was a special that day) and the portobello. Everything had amazing flavor. Do not pass this place up if you're out that way. The atmosphere is friendly and welcoming, so are the people and the food is unforgettable in the BEST way.

I ordered a western burger with large fry, but removed the corned beef. The burger itself was delicious, the patties were well seasoned and cooked perfectly. They were quite juicy and melted in the mouth. The brioche bun was as expected, although it did get a little bit, soggy due to the generous amounts of sweet/sugary Kansas City style barbecue sauce, which was also delicious. The onion ring that was part of the burger was crispy on the outside and not too mushy on the inside just how it should be. Next time I'll add bacon and some jalapeños to the burger to balance the sweet barbecue sauce. The french fries were delicious, crispy exterior with soft, fluffy interior and just the right amount of salt. Although I did not order seasoned fries, I was very happy with the regular unseasoned one. I can imagine that the seasoned fries would be even better. Overall a great burger and excellent fries, I would recommend this to others.

For my first visit here I got their basic cheeseburger where I added Bacon and a second patty upgrading from a 1/4 pounder to a 1/2 Lb burger. At $10.50 which included the two upgrades of bacon and 2nd patty was a deal in my opinion especially when you consider the quality of the burger. Relative to staff and facility, the staff was very friendly and checked in on me twice during my meal to include the owner which is amazing when you consider this is a counter order operation. Facility itself is clean and large with a lot of tables, both indoor and outdoor dining. I've been to McLaren many times without noticing it: like most of the buildings along this stretch of 8 Mile Road, it has a boxy look that doesn't stand out. But, it was time for lunch, so I followed my coworkers across the street. I had just had a burger the day before, so I got the Cuban Panini instead. Sandwiches come with fries or tots, and can be upgraded to onion rings for $3. There were 10 of us, but we got our food quickly. I didn't actually count them, but it seemed like there were about 40 tater tots on my plate. And, they were perfectly crispy. As for the Cuban, I was intrigued by the addition of avocado. Unfortunately, it was swimming in mayo, which it definitely didn't need. Once the mayo was wiped away and mustard was added, it revealed a solid sandwich, though there wasn't as much pork as I'd want in a Cubano. Sandwiches start at $13, which is a great price for a massive sandwich with fries included. Considering the great service, this is a perfect lunch spot....now that I know it's here.
