I have been here in the past but it had been about a year since my last visit. When I went this past Saturday I was super impressed. I immediately thought this must be new ownership because Wow what a difference. We were greeted at the door by a super friendly hostess who showed us to a table. Went here on a weeknight with a friend. The place is actually pretty small. The ambiance is very laid back and relaxed. We were seated promptly and given menus. We were first asked what we wanted to drink and ordered a glass of House red wine and a Coke Zero. The red wine was brought to the table but my Coke Zero was not. We had a different waiter come by to the table and she was super nice. We never got her name though. I explained to her I never got my soda and she apologized and brought it promptly. The menu had pizza, salad and subs from what I can remember. They also have lunch specials. We ordered a half Deluxe and half Vegetable and a Margherita. There was so little meat on the Deluxe I couldn't tell the difference from the vegetable. We also ordered a small Caesar Salad which was enough for both of us to share. The salad was really cold and refreshing. So many people had been raving about this place. It was good but it wasn't great. It isn't exactly NY pizza either - although pretty close. The undercarriage of the pizza had that slight char and when you folded it to eat, there was that oil drip out of the crust. That's about all the similarities to a NY slice that it had. The table had red pepper flakes but no Garlic Powder. Before anyone comes for me - I grew up in NYC, The Bronx and Queens. I would say it was more like 3.5 stars. The staff is friendly. The pizza was pretty good. The salad was good. My friend said that the House wine was "really good". I would say it's worth a try. Most people I've spoken to love their pizza. It might just be I'm a bit of a pizza snob. I have yet to find a NY slice. But that's hard to replicate when the water is different. My friend that also grew up in NY/NJ loved the pizza. You should go get a slice and decide for yourself. You might love it too! read more

Next to Cava I ordered a 12" meatball sub. It's very tasty & not messy to eat. I couldn't find the exact ingredients & left before asking but the meatballs don't look like beef. NYC has good pizza. This was my second visit, on my first visit we dropped by for cheese pizza on Christmas Eve, amazingly good.... So good I brought my son back for his favorite which is supreme pizza, half just veggies for me and half regular supreme, the 16in is plenty for a group of 4 and cold beer on tap.... Great! My wife saw a suggestion for them on Nextdoor so we decided to give it a try. They took over the old Forenza Pizza location near the now-empty Sprouts store. It was kind of funny that all the chars still had a big "F" logo on the back. We were greeted as soon as we walked in and were told to pick any table. Menus were given to us and water was brought by within a minute. Since it was 3pm we decided to make it our dinner and ordered a 16" with pepperoni, onions, bell pepper, jalapenos, and garlic. The Pizza was served in about 10 minutes and the crust was perfectly cooked. While my wife would have preferred the toppings to have been cooked a little more, I kind of like them to be a bit crisp. Overall, it was a good pie and we enjoyed it. Service was very attentive and refills were brought without us having to flag the server down. The only minus is that they are among a growing number of establishments which charge a 3% credit card surcharge. I didn't notice if it was disclosed on the menu, but at least it was noted on the itemized check we received before paying. They do have a special on Thursday. $1.50 cheese slices (with up to 5 topping available for an additional charge) and 50% off beer. We will be back. read more

First off, pizza was good. We ordered a supreme with extra cheese and no mushrooms. With that said, when I ordered online, I specifically stated no mushrooms on the pizza. The pizza was for 3 of us, and the person buying the pizza is deathly allergic to mushrooms. By the time we realized there were mushrooms on the pizza, it was too late. We had already ate 2 slices. Thankfully, I was able to warn the person who had a mushroom allergy, so thankfully, no ER visit today. To the person(s) taking orders, please be mindful of special requests.
