I share this because I called 3 other places no one answered and no one ever called me back. Second he was so friendly, kind and compassionate even over the phone! Third I'm writing a unique review because I didn't have any extensive work done on my car. When my car wouldn't start I had it towed to Ambato. I was nervous all day thinking something major and expensive was wrong. In the end it was a dead battery. He didn't even charge me for the inspection. He didn't try to make up issues. He was honest straight forward and I was blown away. Since I had it towed I went ahead and had the oil changed lol for good measure and to give them some business. They immediately sent a mechanic to attempt a jump start (yes, wonderful Guillermo walked over to my location) and when that failed, they offered to PUSH MY CAR to the shop because I was so close. Unfortunately, I couldn't even shift to neutral and had to arrange a tow (which they also offered to help with, if I didn't have it covered by insurance). When I arrived, not only did George remember me from an emergency brake fix a while back, he worked MAGIC to diagnose the problem (complicated circuitry issue), source necessary parts/technicians, and get me on the road within 2 days at a very reasonable cost. No one wants to spend time or money on their car and whenever they end up needing to, you just know they're gonna hop on yelp to chew out the mechanics for things that aren't their fault. Anyway, these guys are legit, time efficient, honest, communicative, and hard working. We've gotten inspections, oil/brake/alternator/battery changes, and effective diagnosis's when something was wrong with our car. Glad to have them in the neighborhood.
