However the last several months State Farm and this office has failed. Every month my bill was different, I called in to change my address 10 times, they decide to change it on the 11th time, REALLY! I had to make a payment on 9/9/13 for my policy and I have called there office 3 times a day to reach Ben to pay my policy and no one has called me back. Yesterday I called and talked to the main lady Wendy and she said ill call you back at 2 pm when the computer system comes back up. Well I get a call this morning saying well I looked into your policy and you have a past due balance, NO SHIT, on one will call me back to take payment. Then she has the never to say that my policy is going to cancel today, thanks for nothing. If I never called yesterday I would never known that my policy was being cancelled. So goodbye State Farm and hello another company who is going to care and call there clients back. Also beware when you call all the women who answer the phone is rude and will give you a attitude when you want to leave a message with someone.

We have been completely happy with State Farm, and as we have grown older, gotten married, and started our own families, we go to John for everything. It came time to look at life insurance, and I was a bit confused regarding term vs. whole life. John explained the differences to me in detail, without making me even more confused. He explains is to me as if i am a friend vs. his customer. We decided on term life insurance for my husband and me, and whole life for our child. We also have earthquake insurance with him. Since the monthly premium is not automatically withdrawn from my account, I am terrible at sending checks and i have been late a few times. Apparently, it shows up in John's system and he always gives me a friendly reminder call where he can take the payment by phone. He is basically our security blanket when it comes to our CA earthquake insurance! When I bought my first ever luxury car at CarMax, CarMax made me add comprehensive collision coverage to my insurance before i left the lot. Now, it was 8:30pm at that time so the odds of me getting an agent were slim to nil. I called his office, thinking it would automatically click over to State Farm's official line. To my surprise, John picked up the call! I believe he had the calls routed to his cell. I mean, talk about amazing customer service. I explained what CarMax requested, and he did it without question, at 8:30pm on a Friday night! What insurance agent will do that for you???? I'm guessing not many. In the first few years of getting car insurance through him, we got a discount for low mileage. Now, part of that discount is apparently to verify mileage every few months. I was getting calls left and right by one of his employees. Mind you, I was in college and just could not be bothered at the time (I know, I was pretty self-important back in the day. Thank goodness I grew out of it!). I finally answered the phone and told the employee that I was so annoyed with the phone calls (it really wasn't that many..) and I would be looking elsewhere for car insurance (I had no intention of doing that, I was just being rude). Well, within minutes I get a call from John, who was away at a conference but heard I was upset about the phone calls. He immediately apologized and explained why State Farm needs the mileage. I sheepishly agreed and reassured him I would not be changing insurance. Again, this happened in the first few years when I was younger and had no idea the world didn't revolve around me. Cut to 2022: my brand new, less-than-a-month-old car was side swiped in the parking lot. I called John and gave him the details. He gave me the options and his recommendations. I thought for sure I would take it to my car dealership since it's a nice car and a regular body shop wouldn't do it justice. Again, he gave me his 2 cents worth and his experience working with dealerships. I decided to trust him and follow his recommendations. Well, I took my car in for an estimate at a State Farm recommended body shop, car rental worked cohesively with the body shop, I dropped my car off, and had it back within 2 days! Not only that, I got reimbursed for my car seats in the car within a day! From my accident to repaired car, it was a week. I cannot say enough great things about John Co at State Farm. He treats me like family. That's all i have to say about that!
