I had a terrible experience with a Bethany agent. I don't want to say her name but she dropped the ball multiple times after my house was designated as high fire risk and I was dropped by my insurance company. We never received a notice from our insurer that we were being dropped. But our Bethany agent did, many months before it expired. Then she contacts me two days before it expires. I was desperate to find something since it was so last minute. She hooked me up with this shady company that charged me twice as much after requiring thousands of dollars in work to my house before they would even insure it. They gave me just over one month to do all the work, which I completed, then a few days before their deadline, they tacked a new requirement that was going to take even more money and time. I emailed the agent expressing my justified irritation with the situation. I was done going through hoops for this shady company so I could pay twice as much. What I got from my Bethany agent was complete silence. I never heard from her again. I found insurance elsewhere, on my own, that cost half of the insurer she provided. I assume that policy was canceled, but of course, I've heard nothing from my Bethany agent. There were multiple other balls dropped through this whole process that I don't need to get into.
