When I asked why I wasn't contacted about a pending cancellation......I got a predictable "Well, we tried to call you..." of course I have no messages from them. They further stated that there was a payment that was denied which my bank has NO record of even an attempt of payment made. Then it was a "Well, Corporate handles that so we don't really know..." Ya. When all else fails, blame the "big man", lol. At least my California Fair Plan is all good as I search for an Insurance Company that is as good as my State Farm. Maybe I am spoiled after all, I've been with them for 25 years and never a problem. State Farm doesn't write home policies so.....the search continues.

I called customer service to cancel & to Explain the situation but was put on hold then got disconnected, tryed calling back 7x but didn't let me get thru. just the same recording. & this was the very next day not even 24hrs yet. NOT 5DAYS LATER. The point is why would a insurance agent insure a policy with A suspended registration & expired drivers license- but still took my $$. that's illegal & fraudulent! Taking other ppls hard earned $$ to have ppl take it & made no effort to even help me. Including my agent, asked her u cannot help me? She said "No"! Then hung up. Im unemployed & its difficult tryn to make ends meet just to throw away $180.00 for nothing. & unaware of any cancellation, broker, filing image fee etc when theyI shouldn't of took my $$ 4 payment or been eligible for any insurance policy in the 1st place. Good morning. I'm writing this in regards to a recent visit to your business. At 9am this morning,…read moreJuly 17th 2017, I entered your business with the hopes of changing my current car insurance. I was amazed at the poor quality of customer service. As my husband and I entered we were not greeted. Two employees sitting in the front office just looked at us with disappointment, that at 9am on a Monday morning they may have to greet a customer. No hello, no good morning, no may I help you, no may we get you a cup of coffee, absolutely nothing. I actually had to ask which one of them could help me. With obvious disappointment the employee to my left said she would help us. I was inquiring about rideshare insurance. She said they did offer it but suggested I just stay with my current insurance company. Seriously? Never took the time to ask who my current policy was with. After finally convincing her to check the rates she came back with a quote of $168.62. My current policy with progressive is $96.00. Only explanation she could give me was StateFarm is very expensive. Again, seriously. No attempt to see why rate was so high and what could be done to lower rate. At this point I asked for a rate for only ride share policy. She said they don't offer rideshare insurance separately. This was totally contradictive to what she originally told me when we walked in. At this point I thanked her for her time, told her to have a nice day and left. It would have been nice if she at least could have thanked us for our time and told us to have a nice day, but nothing. Not only will I look for insurance elsewhere, I will make sure as many people know about the horrible service we received, and forward a copy of this message to StateFarm.
