The staff members are welcoming and friendly. The care team here is patient, kind, reliable, caring and understanding. About 90% of the patients here are White, 2% Asian, 5% Hispanic, and 3% African American. Around 70% were born in the USA and came to the U.S. before age 12, 80% came from highly educated families, and 70% are financially well off. The place was busy but quiet. You check in either on the kiosk or with the receptionist. I started to check in with the front desk who was friendly. After checking in you just wait to be called. Most of the time they are on time. Even when they were behind schedule, I had to wait for a little while. When you get called you go to a room to be prepped for whatever imaging you are going for. You wait in that room until they are ready to do the imaging. Everyone was attentive and accommodating. I am pleased with the quality of care here and feel comfortable coming here. The Radiologists look at your images throughly. Even though I am the only Asian person here for the majority of the time, I felt welcomed, safe, respected, and supported, especially as a person with a disability in that environment. As a person with a degree who values quality Healthcare, I highly recommend this NYU Langone facility.
