This place is incredible! They are very professional and helped my daughter with her helmet, but they also were available on text to reschedule appointments and answer questions. I was very impressed with their communication, professionalism, and getting results. My daughter only needed the helmet for 2 months and her plagiocephaly was corrected. A bonus part was they do a little graduation ceremony when she's done with the helmet with a gown and cap and it's absolutely adorable. Just goes to show how amazing they are! read more

O and P is AMAZING!!!! When I found out that my daughter had scoliosis and Kaiser told us she needed to braced immediately, I went to their first referral they gave me. But when I showed up to the appointment, I was greeted by an iPad and felt more like a number than a person. It just happened to be that my friend's daughter was being treated by O and P and she told me to go and check it out. I can't tell you how a chance phone call led me to this place, and how grateful I am to Dr. Phil and his staff. I reached out, spoke with Alan, and he helped me set up the appointment, deal with insurance, and get them to change their initial referral to them. Kaiser was happy to fulfill my request as I fought for the location to be our treatment center. It is kid friendly, complete with theme, state of the art scanning equipment, and most of all compassion and customer service to make my daughter feel cared for and driven to wear the brace. It's not easy to wear a brace and it can be difficult to transition to getting a young teenager to want to wear it. They took a scary experience and made it feel magical.....and that does not even include the progress that she has made. My daughter's curvature went from a 36 degree curvature to a 7 degree curvature! They upgrade the cushioning as needed and always make room for an appointment when my daughter feels extra pain. Dr. Phil has been God-sent and I can't thank him enough. We are still in the middle of treatment but the results don't lie, and having a place that my daughter enjoys coming to and that helped her transform her spine is something that has changed her life! The pain has decreased and I just had to write this review so that those who don't know that not all facilities are kid-friendly and feel like you are visiting a close family member. Office is very clean and organized. Front desk is friendly and welcoming! We were referred here by physical therapy and I was so hesitant on being forced to get our son a helmet if he didn't need one. Our physical therapist said that our son had a moderate case of flat head and that it was up to us if we wanted to put him in a helmet. We came here as a second opinion and were so happy with how caring, thoughtful and honest our son's tech, Ever, was. He explained everything to us, reassured us that our son does need a helmet and went over the entire process and answered all of our questions. Took my baby here to get his head looked at after a pediatrician referral. I was worried they'd try to sell us into a helmet even if we didn't need one. My 13yo daughter was diagnosed with scoliosis (29% upper and 19% lower curvatures, 12% rotation ) and we were fortunate to find Phil and O&P In Motion and the Rigo Cheneau Bracing system. After two years of wearing her brace 20 hours per day, the improvement in her curvature has been tremendous! She is now at 14% upper and 17% lower curvature and 0% rotation and her curvatures are now within "normal" range. The Rigo Cheneau Brace was comfortable enough to wear around the clock and hide under normal clothing so my daughter felt confident and secure wearing the brace all day which was the key to her successful outcome. So we were referred here in December of 2018 after our son was diagnosed with moderate to severe plagiocephaly. Came here not knowing what to expect, disappointed that I couldn't correct the issue with more tummy time, etc. We worked with Jaime, who was very kind and put us at ease. He was knowledgeable about the topic as well, and informed us that plagiocephaly isn't a "cosmetic" issue but that if left untreated our child could be susceptible to ear infections, migraines, and TMJ. He guaranteed us that if we used the helmet correctly, it would fix the issue- and sure enough, it did! Our son spent about 8 months in the helmet and his ears completely leveled out and the back of his head began rounding correctly too. I attached some photos so you could see the progress- I'll let that part speak for itself. They provided me a discount after I got the bill but even with that I could have purchased the item for way less on Amazon. Im sure they will say something about custom fit but it didn't take much to cut down the piece of plastic in the front of the boot. AMAZING! My daughter was in need of a cranial helmet due to flat head caused by torticollis and plagiocephaly. From the moment I called O&P in motion, I got an immediate sense of willingness to help. I didn't know what I was talking about, and had so many questions, from insurance to logistics, and the staff was so understanding and helpful. Walking in, the first thing you notice is how clean and child friendly the place is. The walls are painted in bright colors, with murals throughout. Their painter does amazing work! There are toys, a fish tank, and TV set to child friendly channels. I never waited more than 5 min. to be brought to the room for my appointments. I was originally told since she was starting at 4 months of age that she would have to wear the helmet at least 2 months, be re-checked, and maybe for a third month. Sounds like a really long time for a baby wearing a helmet 23/7 (1 hour break a day), but 8 weeks flew by. Not only that, the transformation was unbelievable. Seeing the results from day 1 until the end are mind-blowing. My baby, who had pretty moderate-borderline severe flat head, now has a just about perfectly shaped head! I must admit, though, making sure your baby wears it is super important. There are too many people I run into who share their child's story with me that admit they didn't use it at night. We used it ALL the time. She got breaks for bath time, and when I would nurse, but other than that she'd have it on. Thank you so much to Raul and all of the staff. At first this place seemed fine. The people at the front desk were nice, and the main guy who does the baby helmets was a little strange, but still very friendly and accommodating. Things went downhill quickly though. One of the assistants adjusted our daughter's helmet once and after that it never quite fit right again. It seemed like we were coming in on a weekly basis to have it adjusted, because it would constantly wiggle out of place (and not just a little bit). After 2 months of that nonsense, we stopped using the helmet altogether. There was barely any change in our daughter's head during that time, and we were constantly worried that the ill fit of the helmet was rendering the treatment useless, or even could possibly misshapen her head even more. It was a lot of discomfort for nothing and I wasn't willing to put her through it any longer. The main guy kept telling me that the process was harder on me than on her but he wasn't there to see her constantly trying to pull it off and having her sleep disrupted throughout the night because it would shift into an uncomfortable position. I honestly wish we had never done it! Anyways, I'm happy to say that it's been several months since we discontinued the helmet and our daughter's head is slowly but surely shaping out on its own. read more
