Before planting anything, he took the time to measure the property line accurately, and made sure the plants were exactly where I wanted them. What really stood out was his honesty and integrity. He noticed that we already had some leftover plants that could be used and let us know we didn't need to purchase more, which ended up saving us money. It's refreshing to work with someone who puts the customer's best interests first. The quality of the work was great and he was there onsite supervising as well as assisting the workers which is very rare to see these days. We hired OC Landscaping for a landscaping project in front of our house and we are very pleased on how it turned out. A neighbor commented that our house has become "The showcase of the block". After an educational & informative consultation with Donald, we agreed on a price that fit our budget. I found O C Landscaping through one of those home improvement magazines that come in the mail, and I'm really glad I did. Donald, the owner, is very hands-on and clearly takes pride in his work. I got a few quotes before moving forward, and one company was actually going to charge me more for less than what Donald offered. That made the decision easy. He completely transformed my front yard--it looks amazing. The work was so good that I ended up hiring him again to do my backyard as well. I hired OC Landscaping to landscape the perimeter area around my pool. When the planting was completed it looked wonderful. However, now a year later the plants that they selected have grown and are totally inappropriate, they have sharp points at the end of the leaves. If a child or an adult going around the pool accidentally runs into a leave they will be punctured or badly scratched. I called up to complain and was told to bad. UNPROFESSIONAL CON!!! We had OC put a 22 X 100 layer of landscape barrier to prevent weeds that were coming up under rocks. OC did it, but weeds still came thru one week later because OC used incorrect cheap netting material and improperly put it down. It had to be redone... OC poured two 5x5 cement slabs that did not match and they need to be re-done. He was a NO SHOW at first appointment due to death in family. That's understanable until 2nd appointment he said death in family. He forgot he already used that excuse. I kicked him off our property and his foul mouth could be heard by our neighbors. He is a little man and fortunate for him I was calm and laughing inside. It took some time and a bluff saying that we would sue if we did not get a full refund. He tried to weasel out but we did get a full refund. DON'T USE OC LANDSCAPPING. HE IS A RIPOFF!!! Waiting for denial from OC. If so, I will attach pictures. P.S. Thanks for the full REUND OC. My experience with O C Landscaping was a wonderful, easy and carefree experience. Donald came out to my home, gave me a quote, drawing of my design idea and scheduled the installation for my landscaping all in the same day. Don sent me photos of tress and bushes before purchasing them to assure I was satisfied with everything. Once the work began, I was sent photos (I was at work), of how the layout of everything was going to look before they were even put in the ground. The work was neat and efficient. Not only did they do my landscaping, but they also replaced my broken sprinkler heads and added beautiful LED lights to highlight my lawn. He was very clear with care instructions and also provided additional recommendations for in the future. The price for everything was competitive as well as excellent quality work!!! Wish I would have realized the only other review is a fake one... We hired OC to help us get our yard together and the day they were supposed to come, nobody showed up. We were annoyed (we had 7 showings on our house that weekend) and hurried up and did what we could ourselves. I called and left a voicemail and sent a text message to the number that text me when someone was sent to give a quote. Nobody responded. I was going to just move on and say "their loss" but today I received a bill in the mail for work they never even began to do! When I called, the gentleman said that they only received half of my voicemail (good thing I started with my name and ended with my number, so either way they had identifying information). When he came to give the quote he treated my husband as though he were doing US a favor, never mind the fact that we are giving you business... Look somewhere else. We were able to find quality lawn care without the run around pretty easily. Oh and it is also a lie that they take credit cards (but we are thankful that they don't have our information because who knows?) read more

TERRIBLE, AWFUL, MISERABLE!!! Regret not able to give minus 5 stars. They do not, will not stand behind the SATISFACTION GUARANTEE offere on the website even though work obviously not finalized, done improper or damaged homeowners property. A simple job that should take a few hours. They just left for 3rd time after a 3 + week process. Donald's 1st excuse for standing us up was out of country because of family death. 2nd excuse due to same day cancellation was leaving town because of death in family. His website states and has pictures of "ALL CREDIT CARDS ACCEPTED". Obviously dishonest because we told them to leave property before work was complete and work that was done that they had to come back for twice was done improper and incomplete. I gave them a credit card for partial payment. Donald said I only take cash or check. When we said, "what about you website stating all credit cards taken?". HIS RESPONSE, OH I'VE BEEN MEANING TO TAKE THAT DOWN FOR MONTHS"... OC damaged some property and denied it. Dishonest, foulmouthed, employees NO SPEAKA ENGRISH. They have the capability to remove reviews from their website. Lucky we made a partial payment. We could of stuck to website stating all credit cards accepted then what could they do?
