I have to admit that because of the lack of reviews, I was skeptical, but once I met Jose and his Father for the estimate, I got a really good feeling. Their bid came in well under the other five painters that we got bids from, and the way they spoke about what they were going to do and how they were going to do it, it just gave me confidence that they would be the right ones to do the job, and I'm glad we chose them! The thing I appreciated most about them was how communicative and honest they were. The whole crew was very friendly and professional. The job was done in a total of about three days, which in my view is really really fast, especially since our house has so many weird nooks and crannies and the extra stuff we asked for at the last minute (like painting the front door). Highly recommend! We bought a house that had a really terrible paint job. It was an awful tan color and probably hadn't been painted in 15 years. On one side of the house, the paint was pretty much peeling off. I went to Yelp to get quotes and OC Premier Painting was one of the ones to pop up. I met with Jose and liked him a lot. He was quick to get out to my house and gave us far and away the best price. He never pressured us for a decision which I appreciated a lot too. They did an absolutely amazing job and I'm so happy we went with them. They were able to fit us into their schedule really quickly and Jose even helped us choose the right gray because we were struggling to find something that would look good when actually on the house. But I valued the referral so I was willing to pay even though there was a less expensive option. He was really helpful and patient while I worked with my HOA to get the colors approved. All I can say about Jose and OC Premier Painting is job well done! I received several estimates for painting the exterior of my house including the exterior doors, gate, metal awnings, and patio. Some estimates were significantly cheaper than OC Premier Painting and others were way over-priced. Jose's estimate was in the middle of the range. I chose his company because: (1) I always ask what brand of paints do you use? Jose stated that he uses either Sherwin Williams or Dunn-Edwards paints (which are the top two quality paints my friend in construction would recommend); (2) I asked Jose does he have regular steady employees or does he pick up whoever can paint at the day labor sites? Jose stated that his two employees have been with him several years; (3) I always do a background check with the State of California Licensing Board and found no "dings" or complaints against his company for any illegal activity; and (4) I asked Jose does he have a foreman who will oversee the work? Jose stated that he is the owner of the company and he works alongside his two employees. I watched Jose and his two employees work and I was impressed by their workmanship and work ethics. His two employees knew exactly what to do without being constantly directed or instructed by Jose. They helped move the heavy cabinets and shelves I had under the patio; pressure-washed the exterior walls; repaired cracked, missing or deteriorated stucco; they even fixed my wooden gate so that it latches correctly. It took 3 days to complete all the work including touchups where needed. They even "squeezed" between the top of the patio and roof undercover to paint the eaves and top half of the window frames. I couldn't even fit in that space! Amazing! It was worth the money to hire these professional painters. After the painting was completed, they helped me move the cabinets and shelves back to their original positions under the patio plus they cleaned up after themselves. My trash bin was full so they even hauled away any remaining trash in large trash bags and drove away into the sunset. I paid the remaining balance of Jose's preliminary estimate. We had Jose paint our facia board on one side of out house and sandblast and powder coat two wrought iron gates. He is did a very thorough job on the facia: hand scraped all of the old paint, patched holes and then sanded. He brushed on base coat before applying the final coat. It is not exaggerating to say that he is somewhat of a perfectionist! He insisted on doing an excellent job. Then he took the gates and had them sandblasted. He noticed that some of the welding was defective. He took photos and sent them to us saying he would fix them himself. He did and never charged us extra. Besides workmanship, he was always prompt, texting when he would be arriving and leaving. He finished pretty much on schedule. We cautioned him that our dog was an escape artist. He brought his own plywood and put up barriers when the gates were being worked on. Bottom Line: We would recommend him highly to anyone that wants a great painter.
