Waitress was terrible. Food for one person was horrible. Another persons food was brought out and the side was wrong. When we informed the waitress she apologized and said she would fix it. She never brought the correct side out. We waited 30 minutes after we got done eating before the check was brought out. When we informed the people up front of how bad the waitress was all they had to say was " oh " they didn't bother to ask if we needed to speak to a manager or even apologize. As soon as we walked in, we were greeted with friendly staff and seated at a clean table. Our waitress, Meagan, came over and started taking our orders She had great knowledge of the menu and suggested great meals which were very pleasing. I placed an order online for curbside pickup. I arrived 5 minutes early and called inside after 10 minutes of waiting. I was told my order would be out in a few minutes. Thirty minutes later I called again and was put on hold. After 10 minutes I hung up and called back. This time I was hung up on. The food finally came out a full hour late. It was cold and soggy. After a week of boating on a nearby water and eating unhealthy, we stayed in the Holiday Inn Express next door and wanted some real food. My husband ordered the Cobb salad and it had several pieces of brown iceburg lettuce and it was obvious that the salad had been sitting around for a while in a cooler or refrigerator. I ordered a 6 oz blackened Salmon dinner with a house salad and bacon smashed potatoes. Definitely order the dressing on the side for your salad. The salmon was cooked to order (well done), but still tasted more fishy that I'd have liked. But, I'm picky about well done. When I say well done, I mean jerky. Potatoes were ok, kind of luke warm, so I think our meals may have sat around for a bit before they arrived to us. This is a convenient restaurant to our hotel, but if I was a local, I doubt I would visit it very often. Waited a really long time to get service but when we did the waitress was super sweet and quick. She even made me a to go salad dressing for my salad without me asking. Unfortunately I only ate about 3 bites because I was heading to work out and planned to eat it after. Spent an hour and a half here at lunchtime. Took 10 minutes be greeted by our server, who showed up as we were discussing leaving to go elsewhere. We ordered food at the same time we ordered drinks, took several minutes to get drinks but no rolls. We finally received food (a full salad although I ordered a half salad, chicken tender lunch and 2 kids meals) after waiting 35 minutes.. got honey mustard dressing even though I asked for Extra Ranch for my salad when I ordered it, so I had to wait 3 more minutes for a different server to come slam 2 small ramekins half full of ranch on the table. Waited nearly 20 more minutes for pie that was brought to us in to-go boxes. Paid with cash, waited another 10 minutes for my server to get change from the bartender. In October my husband and I went to O'Charley's with a gift certificate; the service and food or so bad I left a one-star review. The manager called asking if we would give O'Charley's another opportunity. I said we would so he sent another gift certificate for us to try again. Tonight my husband and I went back to O'Charley's. Chanel was our waitress. She was fantastic! The food however not so fantastic. We originally ordered the prime rib which was only available in a medium or above range of doneness. My husbands second option was the ribeye. The ribeye I was unavailable. The third option ribs why are available but we're very dry when they were received. I ordered the salmon and macaroni and cheese and asparagus both the asparagus and the mac and cheese or cold when they arrived at the table. I also ordered a glass of wine which came with chunks of red stuff in the bottom of it. They did replace the wine but not the food. So our experience culminates with the food at O'Charley's is definitely not to our satisfaction. However this time the service was fantastic. Chanel did a great job! She was on top of our orders and checked back at just the right frequency to ensure we were taken care of. read more

Took my mother out for Mother's Day and had the worst experience. I understand they're busy but come on. We were promised fresh rolls only to watch the waitress give them to another couple who got there after us. When asked about it she said they were all out. The food was awful. After 30 minutes and people coming in and being led to seats we asked what was the problem seating us. Boy it was the biggest joke I have seen the steak was not as big as a mini hambuger and the chicken was little chicken tenders. Came I specifically for a steak tonight. When trying to order, they didn't have Ribeye, Prime Rib, or 10oz Sirloin...all they had was the filet and 6oz Sirloin. I settled for the 6oz and Rib combo. The ribs were pretty good but the Sirloin wasn't...too tough. The rolls are much smaller and not as soft as I'm accustomed to at O'Charleys. Appetizers came out before the drinks (water and tea) and even worse, 2-1/2 hours for dinner! Guests were sitting at other tables and ate and left yet our group did't get served until after all other tables. My fiancé and I are traveling across the country and stopped overnight in Dickson, TN. We were hungry so we used YELP to try to find a place for dinner. We like to try the local places and stay away from chains when we travel but it seems like everything closes early in Dickson on a Wednesday night. There was an O'Charley's right across the parking lot so we just went there even though the reviews weren't very good. What a pleasant surprise!! This last Saturday night my wife and myself stopped at O'Charleys to have dinner. It was about 6:30 PM and they were very busy. We were seated in the bar area as it would be quicker. There was only two servers trying to cover that entire area. They were doing the best they could and were both very friendly. I ordered the prime rib and my wife ordered a grilled chicken salad. At 6:30 they were already out of the prime rib? So I ordered the Louisiana sirloin instead. It took about 45 minutes to receive our food as they were understandably busy. My wife's food was very good my steak on the other hand was so salty that I could barely eat it. I should have complained but we were in a hurry as we had other things to do that night. We went to this location, traveling to Nashville. We ate grilled salmon and grilled veggies, very good. We tried to order steamed broccoli without butter and our server said she couldn't do that. Service was mediocre, "Laura" complained a lot about coworkers not doing their jobs, about how tired she was etc. When she took our salad plates away, she put them on a nearby table while griping that she had to do "every job". Most of the unoccupied tables around us were piled high with dirty dishes and half eaten food, apparently no one likes bussing tables. It was pretty disgusting. On the way out, 5 employees were standing around the host station gossiping, a few feet away from several piles high tables. We wondered where the manager was, definitely a poorly managed location. I have been to this particular O' Charley's location many, many times throughout the years. O' Charley's has went through a renovation both cosmetically and with their food in the last six months. The food and service has improved by leaps and bounds since the renovation. During my most recent visit I ordered the Cowboy Sirloin with mashed potatoes, and soup. It all starts however, with O' Charley's delicious yeast dinner rolls which I love to dip in my soup. The soup, a new offering, was "Creamy Tomato Basil" which was extremely delicious and full of flavor, I would love to get this again, the potato soup is also outstanding. My Cowbow Sirloin was overcooked (I have come to accept this at chain restaurants such as this however), it had a nice flavor, slightly spicy, which I really enjoyed; overall, disregarding the overcooked factor, the steak was average. My side was the mashed potatoes with bacon, cheese and onion straws. Nothing really special here, despite the toppings, bland in all honesty. For desert I ordered a slice of pie from their new pie selection. I ordered the "French Silk Pie", it was absolutely deliciousness! A light, airy, chocolate treat! Overall this is an average causal dining chain restaurant. Great for groups. Very conveniently located straight off the interstate. My server during my last visit (along with a couple of other times), Maurice, is by far one of the best waiters I have ever had. I must say that we were both glad that we chose O'Charley's (next to the Holiday inn Express). Our waitress was fantastic, she was patient and thoughtful and above all else she was a damn fine waitress. I ordered the Tuscan Chicken and the Mrs had the California chicken salad along with the house margarita. Bread was served straight from the oven and the meal was delicious.
