My girlfriends and I just had lunch together and decided to stroll down La Mesa Blvd and check out the little shops. We all (5 of us) walked in excited to check it out. We walked right past the register and the salesclerk behind it. No greeting. No eye contact. We browsed through the store and the whole time the sales lady was chatting with one man and two women at the register. My friends started leaving, but I moved back to the blouse that I liked. The children's clothing had a ton of fun character patterns (mickey, star wars, etc.) They also had a fun selection of vintage inspired jewelry and sunglasses. I ended up purchasing a circle skirt dress for $55. It isn't lined but still appears to be if great quality. The styles were comparable to what you might find on modcloth, but about 20% cheaper. I was the first client of the morning, and she was prompt and on time. Gentle touch on a tender head!! Walked out really feeling myself!!!! Now, the clothing shop at the front of the salon is epic! I spent about 45 minutes after my appointment shopping and finding something for pretty much everyone I love. The store is stocked with elegant, masterfully hand crafted jewelry and clothing from Senegal. There are fragrant oils and incense and all sorts of accessories and handbags to look through. I purchased a few hand threaded waist beads, a beautiful summer jumpsuit and a bathing suit, I can't wait to put them all on and head to the beach this when it warms up!!
