At the end of the day, the best people to have by your side when choosing your prom/wedding dress are the ones who love you, cheer you on, and make you feel like the most gorgeous girl in the world. It was quite the experience! I was a bit overwhelmed by all the dresses, styles and colors! And prices!!!!! Good Lord!!! However, this was a special moment for my daughter and I was so happy to be included. Mom was at the helm of it all, but I was very honored to have been included in the final decision! Plus, I paid!!! Overall, the service provided by the staff was nothing less than exceptional! Staff were friendly, amicable, and very helpful throughout the process. Eventually, she found the dress she wanted and boy were we wowed! Simply gorgeous! My only gripe would be that all dresses are FINAL SALE and they do not place any dresses on hold (not even for 24 hrs).

The reason I'm giving 3 stars instead of 5 is that the loss-prevention/customer service approach felt a little overbearing at times. Associates were very attentive, but I was asked multiple times if I needed help while browsing, and there was often someone ready to take items from my hands or move them elsewhere. After I found the dress I wanted, I overheard an employee being instructed to place it behind the register before I checked out. I understand the need for theft prevention, especially with consignment inventory, but as a paying customer it left me feeling monitored rather than welcomed. The checkout experience reinforced that feeling. When I attempted to pay with a $50 bill, the reaction made it seem as though there was concern about whether it was legitimate, so I ended up using Apple Pay instead. After checking out, I was told I could select a complimentary item from the store's dollar wall as part of their rewards program. While looking for my item, I was once again asked if I needed help by someone I was approached by several times before (I feel like if I needed that much help I would know who to find???).
