This is a small location in Las Colinas. I met a friend for lunch here and we had great service. The young woman at the register was welcoming and friendly. She made recommendations and checked on us several times while we ate. Our food was delicious and way more than we could eat. We both took home to go containers. I only review Chicken Tikka Masala and Butter Chicken This restaurant isn't much in terms of dine in, but that is nothing I care about. The dishes were good, they are very tomato forward (which some like, some dislike) and lean less on the cream and rich side. Was craving some spice and it wasn't yet 5 o'clock and most restaurants were not open nor taking orders. I found this place on my way home and BAM Found what I was looking for at O'Desi Aroma. Ordering to go was an experience. To say the least. I ordered curry chicken and got curry soup with a side of rice. Honestly, 3-4 pieces of small chicken chunks and a bowl of curry sauce/water. After flying for 18 hours I finally make it to my hotel that has a dozen restaurants in the immediate vicinity. I still opt to order DoorDash because I'm in the mood for Indian food which goes better with my dietary restrictions. So, I order the combo. To my surprise I get my food and there's no rice. So I call to be informed that in direct conflict with not only the DESCRIPTION but the PHOTOS as well, the combination does NOT come with rice. So NOW I have 2 saucy dishes and no Balsamic RICE. So glad I found this new-ish spot in Irving for spinach curry! I can't speak to a ton of things on the menu as I like my staples: spinach curry and naan! I've only done takeout here, but I'd love to dine in when this pandemic is over as it's a cute space. I've had the mixed veg and chicken curry, mild or medium heat and it all tastes fantastic. The curry here is smoother than others I've had (no discernible pieces of spinach) but spot-on flavor and I really like their naan (especially the cheese naan!). Plus the portion is generous so I usually get 3 servings out of it. Favorite dessert so far is the gulab jamun (not pictured, at it too fast) which is like a donut hole saturated in some mildly sweet nectar. It tastes sinful so I only order that every other visit, for the sake of my waistline. Customer service is fantastic. Always friendly and when I accidentally called my order into the Plano location yesterday and went to Irving to pick up my food, they were very gracious and whipped up a fresh order in 10mins flat while telling me I was not the first person to make the error. First off, I have to say I really like the way they labelled their family meal packages on the delivery app I used - WFH Survival Kit - points for that during these testing times. ODA seems to be new as I haven't had a chance to dine in before curbside pickup and delivery became the norm, but will definitely do so once things are back to normal. Their mutton biryani was without doubt the best I've had in the city. The quantity can easily serve three hungry people, and they are very generous with the amount of protein they pile into the dish - they DO NOT skimp and I mean it. The meat itself was so tender and flavorful. I highly recommend you try this dish if you decide to check this restaurant out. No complaints about the Indian breads - the rotis and plain naans were alright, and the side order of the dal makhni (dark lentils in a buttery sauce) was good. The kadhai paneer though lacked a bit of seasoning for me, and the bell peppers weren't cooked enough to my liking. But like with the biryani, the amount of paneer they throw in here is generous. EVERYTHING was delicious, fresh and served piping hot. Food was full of flavor but not overwhelming spicy. Service was wonderful. This is Indian food at its best and prices were very reasonable. Curry cravings are real! So I came here because they had good reviews! The cashier was super nice and helpful but all their curries were made with dairy milk and couldn't be substituted so I unfortunately couldn't get any. I can say for sure the quality is maintained at both locations. I ordered murgh nazakat, kofta curry and achari tikka platter that comes with chole and rice.
